Petit coin de paradis

Un vrai coin de paradis ! Tout était parfait, j'ai vraiment passé un super séjour ! Je recommende les yeux fermés ;) L'accueil, l'extérieur, l'appart, tout est vraiment calme et accueillant. On s'y sent comme à la maison (même presque mieux qu'à la maison 😜)

I felt like home in the house and the host was helping me with fulfilling little wishes to forget about the cold wheathe

it has a very personal atmosphere, it’s colorful and comfortably furnished . It’s outside of Chambery, but really not far to walk and it’s garden is wonderful .

Utterly perfect

Liliane was absolutely charming and very helpful and accommodating. The apartment is lovely, cosy and had everything we needed.

cosy stay in a beautiful location with an excellent host

A lovely host who went above and beyond, beautiful views, fire place and amenities were amazing.

steep walk up from the village but very doable and worth it at a leisurely pace to see the town and for dinner/shopping. taxi etc. available otherwise

Feel at Home in a Magnificent Setting

This is the ideal set up in my opinion. There is the peace of nature but the town is readily accessible for the various attractions on offer. Hiking routes are also close, though I did not have time to do them and the season was not optimal. The host did an outstanding job, I truly felt at home despite staying only a day and two nights. Breakfast was above and beyond expectation. However, breakfast is only served on the first and last morning. Host offers to pick up guests from the train station if required. The room is very generous and cosy. Kitchen facilities are a huge plus for saving money by not always having to go out. Host offered to do my laundry at no extra charge. The setting in nature does wonders for recharging after the rigours of travel. The property is very interesting as well and the concept behind it is both fascinating and ingenious.

My only issue is potential clarity behind payment as this is not done via the app, I was very preoccupied during my stay and so forgot to pay while I was there. The approach is unconventional and might catch some people off guard (such as me.) I believe the host should handle this shortly after guest arrival somehow, as it causes more stress on both parties in the long run if my situation is repeated. I have a lot going on right now and this has added to personal pressure.

A romantic, warm and cosy place on top of Chambéry

A very nice place, without much noise. It's very well situated (stunning view, parking spot, very close to Chambéry on foot (15 minutes)). Comfortable, cooking stuff available, heating very efficient, the hostess was very kind and helpful, the bed was comfortable, there is a garden right next to the room, breakfast provided the first and last day of the stay. This place is really nice. You can walk to the city centre in 15 minutes ! We would like to thank the owner for being so kind and helpful. She welcomed us warmly and provided us with lots of tips for things to do or see arround. We will definitely come back!! See you soon! J & S

The Wi-Fi wasn't great, but we weren't here for that. The shower is in the middle and thus puts water everywhere when one walks from the main room to the bedroom.

I hope I can come back some day for another longer vacation!!

Everything!! Liliane is such a nice host. Bring me from the station when I arrived and take me to the station when I left. The house is more beautiful than the photos! And super comfortable! So warm, quiet and peaceful. The view of the mountains and the smell of nature just make you so relax. The breakfast is homemade and delicious as well. Everything is perfect!!

That I couldn’t stay longer because I didn’t know it’s so good!!

A different and fun place to stay near Chambéry

A well appointed apartment in a charming rustic setting. Peaceful, comfortable, spacious, spotless. We enjoyed Liliane’s homemade breakfast outside in the pretty garden. Liliane is a warm and welcoming host.

We loved everything. It is worth getting very specific directions from Liliane for the last 2 minutes of the journey to the house, our Sat Nav got confused at that point.

Me and my girlfriend arrived really tired after many miles running our motorbike. The courtesy and professionality of Liliane have been excellent. The room is like we want it must be: like home🙂. Everything was very good especially the smile of Liliane and her dog so cute. Mario&Anita

Nice relaxing stay

It was really nice to have access to a lovely garden and we so enjoyed playing with the owner's dog. Breakfast was a really nice touch and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Exceptional

Wonderful welcome and superb place with excellent wood burning stove. Very comfortable bed and living space. Great provisions for tea/coffee.

We will recommend this place to all of our friends!

We loved staying in this apartment. It was amazing to have our own space for a long trip away from home. It really felt like a home away from home while we were there! Super neat and clean, and the heater was amazing. We loved breakfast, and we really enjoyed meeting our host Liliane. She also helped us find a hike in the area that was right for us, and allowed us to borrow her rackets. Thanks, Liliane!
