Good amenities, almost all things needed (bathroom equipment, fully equipped kitchen, etc) were foreseen, the rooms are in a quite good condition and the view is very nice.
Easy parking in front of the hotel.
The mattress of the double bed was in bad condition. It was deformed and had some inclination that made sleep quite uncomfortable. The bed sheets of the smaller bed were washed but they had brown stains.
The soundproofing between rooms is very poor, there was excessive noise coming from the adjacent rooms because the tenants were drugging intensively the furniture on the floor both in the afternoon and in the morning around 08h00
The owners of the hotel respond very quickly but unfortunately, they do not speak English, communication is done only through the messaging of Booking, not possible by phone if you don't speak Italian

We made our own breakfast in the apartment rather than go out for breakfast as we had our 6 year old grandson with us.. The location was excellent, very quiet village with wonderful views of the mountains from our apartment. Joelle and her staff at Le Bistrot Gourmand were all very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, Thank you again for a pleasurable holiday and someday we may well return for a further visit.
Just noisy sometimes late at night from occupants of other apartments within the building but to be expected due to time of the year (Christmas week).

We really loved everything. The apartments were clean, the beds were comfortable and the host was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back. Thanks, Paola!!!

A simple but perfect place: fully furnished huge apartment, with amazing views from all windows and a private terrace, nested on top of Aosta valley. The owners are truly kind and they did the extra mile to accommodate all our requests. The food in the small restaurant they own was also excellent, and in their mini market you can find everything you need. This place is amazing! Comfortable, and extra clean. The owners really care about hospitality, and they are great with children... what more could I say? we felt at home. Great value for money, I highly recommend it if you want to explore the region (which is gorgeous, many trekkings around the area).

Very nice, clean and sunny apartment, friendly owners who also run the minimarket with bistrot next door. The kitchen is well equipped with gas stove, oven and lots of kitchen equipment (but bring your own dish washing liquid and sponge). There is a TV and free, fast WiFi. The bathroom features a laundry machine. There are towels and bed sheets. There is also a pizzeria in walking distance. Saint Nicolas is conveniently and centrally located within the Aosta valley to explore the valley from one place. 20 minutes to the city of Aosta with restaurants and supermarkets. About 45 minutes to Courmayeur.
Happy to come again!

What we liked best is that the very spacious apartment is the center of the small, non touristic, village st-Nicolas, and that the apartment and the "have it all" mini-market (foto) annex bar-restaurant are within 30 meters. As bar and shop are well visited by the inhabitants this makes you feel to be a part of the good Italian lifestyle. Bar-restaurant serves a good lunch of the day (primi ecundo pastri) you can have a coffee, local beer or whatever you like. The family that runs all this is very helpfull and friendly.
We stayed mid september and had sun from 7 to 7 which is really the most you can make in that time of year, due to the is east-west orientation of the valley. This is really very sunny place.
Within a 20 mins (mountainous) drive you are the centre of Aoste, a city that has a lot of roman remains (foto) to show, and a nice centre (foto)
Some logistics in the apartment are a little bit clumsy, fridge door opening to the wall for example, and lighting is not optimal, but what the hack with such a fantastic view from your balcony (see foto) this is easy to overcome.

Beautiful view from the various balconies; little shop close-by with reasonable prices; plenty of little soaps and bathroom extra's available (though you could perhaps consider using refillable soap dispensers to avoid plastic waste); Joelle (the host) was very friendly
Kitchen could have been a bit better equipped - e.g. knives were not very sharp, only one kitchen towel, only the minimum in terms of appliances

It's our second time when we came to Saint Nicolas. It's the best place to rest and the host is wonderful. I recommend strongly Rhemes Notre Dames for the snowpark and the view. Nothing is really far.
