Incredibly friendly hostel staff, Paydro, Ethan and Brodie were amazing. From Paydro's tattoos to nice hostel excursions to rum punch and evening activities, this hostel has it all. Clean and great facilities with great A/C in the rooms and nice location to the centre. Would highly recommend to any form of traveler.

The location was awesome and the staff was very kind and helpful.
Could be a little cleaner and to change the temperature on the shower you have to be quiet tall. I could not reach it and had to take an ice cold shower.

chilled vibe and good location
it smelled a lot of cat poo at the entrance. Kitchen quite dirty. Also, I believe the private room is too expensive. Operation wise it was a disaster

The hostal is a great, safe and central location. The building is so pretty, cozy and with a lot of common areas where it's easy to socialize. The staff is great, all the volounteers are amazing!
Nothing, everything was great!

Good location and good communal areas
The staff are horrendous. I chose to check out early because I felt so uncomfortable staying there. On my 2nd night at 1am one of the staff members (who had previously checked me in but had no other interactions) came onto my bed and woke me up my scratching my arm and shining in my face the Bella’s iPad. He was asking me to ‘go to his spot and chill’. Tired, shocked and shaken I obviously said no and he left but the following morning repeatedly walked past my bed staring at me. When I complained to the manager he lied and told me the guy didn’t work there and just hung out there (am obvious lie as he had checked me in, taken a card payment and showed me to the dorm). When I pointed this out the manager said he must have got me mixed up with someone else, gave no apology at all and didn’t offer to deal with the situation in any way. Avoid this place unless you like creepy guys who come onto your bed at night!

Nice and familiar Hostel with a very friendly staff! It was clean and we felt very comfortable.

Loads of great areas to chill with hammocks. The staff were really helpful. Laundry service was a good price and quick, also smelt super clean and fresh. Amazing location, close to all restaurants. Perfect place to chill for a few days.
One toilet wasn’t working for the first day so was a bit inconvenient as there was only one other in on the ground floor. Luckily it was fixed fairly swiftly. Fans we’re pretty noisy in the room but did keep the room cool enough to sleep. Not really big cons though I would happily stay again!

Good location, easy to walk everywhere. The staff was really nice and they give you great tips for tours and places to see around town. Bare in mind that it's a party hostel, so if you're not into partying and drinking, it might not be for you.
One of the worst dorms I've ever slept in, my bed was in the middle of the room straight next to the bathroom. I can normally sleep anywhere without any issues, but this mattress was the worst I've ever slept on (other guests were saying the same). I've left after one night even though I've paid for three.

the owner is the best guy ever! he hosted us like family. the vibes in this place are amazing and he organizes different activities every night for us.
the kitchen is well equipped
the private room has no private shower or restroom which was a little uncomfortable but it was fine

location was good, really central. nice layout of the social areas, set on different levels made it easy to chat or chill separately.
Private room was really not worth the money. Bed was un comfy, aircon broken, only cold water for the shower, no towels, sink barely held in. Needs some love! Also there wasn’t a clear system for storing food, eg dating system or specific area. This led to ours being thrown away ☹️

Location was good and quiet. The place had a lot of social áreas and the kitchen was well equiped.
Beds were super uncofortable. The mattress was old and very very used so It felt like i was sleeping on the bed frame. It's ok for One night but i wouldn't Stay longer knowing this.

Very neat building, nice staff and clean room.
Just a warning only cold water for the shower!

the location to book busses and trips
we paid more than 60 euros per night and got not much in return. The toilet that belonged to the room was falling apart and the airco was also broken. clearly not much is invested in maintaining the hostel. there were also no towels. normally we book hostels because of the opportunity to meet other travelers, however, next to us there was only one other person.

The building has a nice design with several levels providing nice views. Convenient location close to city center.
The electric fans provided in the rooms were really noisy.

Friendly staff, safe, secure, good wi-fi, fans by beds, good kitchen, can chill on shady rooftop.
All good.

Chilled hostel
Don't bother with the private room - over priced, the worst bed

The place looks like a tree house. There are few terraces where people can socialise and like in general it was great. The stuff is super friendly and helpful. The tour to the caves that they arranged was great and the tour dude was really chaty.
Well, there was just one thing. We had booked a private room, with shared bathroom, we were really surprised when it turned out that to get to the private room we had to go through someone else's room, and use their bathroom. But again like general no big dial.

Complete kitchen.
Really nice common spaces.
Overcharged by paying by card, they promised us double bed in the shared room that we never got.
Our toilet was regularly used by the staff.
Our room had no door.

Its a quick walk from the bus stop. I had a very comfy bed. I was the only guest, so I had the place to myself. Its a 30 minute walk to Cahal Pech. Everything was close by (restaurants, "grocery" store, etc). I cooked in the kitchen. The balcony was a nice touch. They were painting while I was there to spruce up the place. They offer some tours, but I just took the local bus to Xunantunich. Wifi was good.
You had to plug in the bathroom light. Sometimes it was a little dark.
