The entire village is an amazing experience. The resort was perfectly landscaped everything was gorgeous. My friends and I loved the hot springs and seeing all the birds while we were eating breakfast.
Nothing to complain about.

Staff are very nice. Cute layout with the small cabins. Wandering the farm is lovely. The hot spring pool area is beautiful. Breakfast is tasty, though simple. Location is good, near the main drag and close to attractions.
The cabins could use a refresh, as a lot of the decor feels very dated. Someone’s leftovers were in our fridge and had gone off. It wasn’t as nice as other places we’ve stayed in Arenal, but cost more.

Wonderful staff, great environment with thermal springs, a working farm, and comfortable rooms
Far from everything - needed a car to get anywhere else

The staff stole from the room my girlfriend's shoes and a hat.

Low density property with spacious bungalows. Quailty breakfast included with table service. Great front desk for excursions. Many hot spring.pools and a mini farm on-site. Beautifully landscaped.
A minor item. Perhaps provide more written info on things to bring and prep for excursions.

It is an amazingly beautiful property, overlooking the Arenal volcano. The moment we arrived, we were in awe of the location and it’s serenity that the place so effortlessly exudes.
Not a dealbreaker, but, given the close proximity to the farm, you can smell this specific odor coming from the animals at night.

Grounds and privacy.
Nothing.

The breakfast was awesome, and their staff was very helpful. We loved the farm and the people working it. They were super helpful and friendly and very kind even with the language barrier (they were very gracious as we tried to speak what little Spanish we knew with them).
Watching the work go into keeping the grounds beautiful was inspiring, and the lush flora was amazing in comparison to our home of Alaska. The farm visits was a wonderful choice for our kids and they fell in love with Bella, the free roaming pig :)
The meals, aside from breakfast, were not great.

Some of the things that I liked the month were the cabins, hot springs and the spa. My wife and I loved the couples massage at the spa.
Main restaurant did not have a “cafe” menu (e.g., pastries).

The hotel was O.K. for all it has promised, but it occurred that we stayed in another hotel near-by, and the other hotel was better on all factors and significantly lower cost
Restaurant was quite mediocre
Price was about 50% higher than the other hotel with better quality

Great hotel with quality infrastructure. Doesn’t have the industrial vibe of large resorts, but rather a cozy family oriented one. Great for couples looking to have a quiet home close to nature and town without being in the buzz.
The hotel managers and personnel are amazingly welcoming and efficient in helping you. The spa and massages were sensational.
The food options were too american oriented. We would have loved to explore local cuisine and products, given there are some great fruits/vegetables and meat production in the region

It’s very beautiful and since there are only 23 casitas/rooms, very quiet and private. Not tons of crowds like other springs- we had the springs all to ourselves several times. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were pleased with the good food and value.
Early am we’d occasionally wake to the sounds of the donkey- but we liked that because we were very happy to be near the farm (in the back by the springs). But this may not be for everyone.

The landscaping was beautiful and serene with walking paths and meandering streams. The hot springs were equally beautiful in their ambiance. The pools were hotter in the morning and delightful in the rain. The chalet was spacious with high ceilings and had a very comfortable bed. Our room had a view of the volcano. We enjoyed the presence of the farm animals (the donkey being quite vocal and loud at times). The horses grazed in the grass area near our room. We enjoyed learning about the vegetable garden from the master gardener. The location felt tranquil and removed from the busyness of the area in peak season. The grounds were easy to navigate by foot and felt intimate. The bathroom had a retractable clothes line in the shower, which was very useful.
We were disappointed that kids were allowed in the hot springs after 9pm. The pools were on the smaller side so it could feel not very private if other groups of people or couples were using them at the same time. It would have been nice if one of the pools was very hot.
The air conditioner light was very bright and distracting while trying to sleep as was the light on the cable box and phone, which we figured out how to turn off. We learned at a different hotel that the remote for the air conditioner may have had a switch to turn of the temperature light display.
We found breakfast to be bland, although we enjoyed the fruit plate.
It would have been nice to have more places to hang clothing or better yet a dresser in our room.

Everything was beautiful and well thought. the hotel is by far the most connected to nature and the surrounding volcano can be viewed from every side of the property. it was magical. the personnel at the front desk and restaurants were really sweet and kind. I would come back to this hotel without hesitation. the thermal hot springs was a great add on as well.
There were not enough lounge chairs. And the ones available were either worn out or made in wood so it was very uncomfortable. however this is a small detail compared to all the other positive sides of the hotel.

Fantastic spot near the Vulcano and rainforrest. Warm waterpools, garden, cottages - the perfect start of our journey!
The breakfast was (maybe because of Covid) a little "restricted".
