Orosi lodge is beautiful! Wonderful location and the hosts were so helpful and brilliant. The breakfast and coffee shop experience was a highlight! We would definitely come back, great value for money.
The beds weren’t the most comfortable.

Lovely cosy feel to the place. Andreas was very helpful and informative. Orosi is a nice, relaxed town with a good selection of restaurants and plenty to do in the area. Andreas provides a helpful map pf the area.

What a gem! Rooms are spacious with lots of lovely little touches - tea/coffee/biscuits. Grounds are beautiful and breakfast was fabulous!

Alexandra on the desk was super nice and she prepared us delicious breakfast. The place is owned by two Germans, one can feel, when you go to bed and having real bread and bagels and chocolate cake!! We really recomend this place

Wonderful place owned by a German couple, with very friendly and helpful staff. The girl at the reception, Alejandra gave us plenty of explanation about possible activities and places to dine, always with a smile. We stayed in the colonial house. Great accomodation, well equiped, comfortable and with a wonderful view to both the Irazu and the Turrialba vulcano. Also optional breakfast is nice and taken care off and plenty, though
I am pretty sure that for the rather steep price of 5500 CRC (10 USD) you can find other options in town for less money and probably as good.

This was a lovely little lodge in the small town of Orosi. It was clean and comfortable, the hosts were friendly and welcoming and we were provided with a very good breakfast each morning. After staying in more remote locations we enjoyed have access to nearby shops and restaurants.
No complaints. It was all good.

Wonderful place in every aspect. Nicely decorated big rooms at the edge of the village with all amenities, like restaurants and public transport right around the corner. Also very helpfull in organizing activities,

I love the location, the friendly staff and reception, the included breakfast was DELICIOUS, and the aesthetic of the plant life, fountain, and statues were beautiful.
the walls are very thin, and you can pretty much hear everything from your room which means people can probably hear you in your room as well. There was a lot of noise in the morning from other groups/ families that were staying and dogs barking.

Reliable family safe town. Quiet sleeping. It's a lovely community and everything is a relaxing walk from Lodge. Super clean, zero neglect. The bungalow is accessible, no stairs or barriers to enjoy town. Hot shower is best I had in Canada or Costa Rica. Breakfast was a hit with my 14 year old.
Staying more than two days is recommended to relax into the town's vibe and appreciate the ever changing weather.
Definitely visit Hacienda Orosi (night pass)!!! This mineral water healed old injury in shoulder and fatigue rose out of muscles and flowed away down mountain, leaving me feeling 15 years younger.
We didn't like that we had to leave. Please stay at least three nights, at least.

The ldge is a real beauty hidden inthe mountains south of San Jose. The hosts were very helpful. Unfortunately we jst wanted a night near San Jose fou our flight the next day. We will return to explore the volcanoes.
Nothing with the lodge, but it is in a rural area. If yo are a light sleeper beware of the rooster and bring earplugs.

A nice town, a pretty little lodge, friendly people, very clean, charming environment, good taste in decorations

Friendly staff, welcome drink, fridge in room, delicious breakfast (pay extra), wifi
The location in town means that you have the local neighborhood noise..dogs barking alot, children right next door, cars etc. Very noisy.
