The house is in a very quiet place, ideal for rest and relax fully in Nature. But is also around all necessary services. The area is ideal for walking and cycling. The beaches are found in a protected landscape and are supervised. The landscapes are breathtaking! In the region there are restaurants of Alentejo where traditional food abound also fish and seafood accompanied by excellent wines Alentejo.

We had a fantastic 8 night stay in this comfortable, rustic cottage, which has everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. The terrace gets the sun all day long and the views are amazing. Inside the house is very comfortable, but we didn’t spend much time inside as the outside is so fantastic. We loved watching the night’s sky and saw shooting stars every night.
The cottage is in an amazing setting. There are 2 other cabins on the property, but the plot is so large that you can’t see or hear them. There is a private lake, with seating making it perfect for an evening drink or picnic! The private viewpoint overlooking the whole property is amazing. We also enjoyed feeding the chickens and geese.
There is a local bar (Cafe Primo Sergio) a 30 min walk from the house which serves good, home cooked food. The owner speaks very good English and both he and his wife are really friendly.
The closest town is Cercal which is about a 10 minute drive away. It has everything you need, including an excellent bakery.
Communication with the owner was excellent before and during our stay.

A quiet, relaxing and rustic stay in a beautiful area and great surroundings. Whilst not in Milfontes ( actually just outside Circal) it is a great centre for touring the area and visiting Milfontes, Porto Cova, Silves and many of the smaller coves and villages. The house itself was spotlessly clean and a great place for your holiday.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Antonios place. He is a very kind and welcoming host and the house and its sourroundings are just wonderful. We enjoyed the calmness of the sourrounding nature and the kids loved the chicken and the sheep! The place is very comfortable and has everything you need for having a great time. Thank you, Antonio!

We loved Antonio’s beautiful little cabin. Very serene and we felt surrounded by tranquility. There was a miscommunication on our part about not knowing we needed a car, which we didn’t have. Antonio was excellent and sorted things out and so all was good.

Antonio couldn't have been more helpful with suggestions of places to visit & eat. Brilliant host. Lovely, secluded traditional style house set within a cork oak forest & farm. Great spot.

We wanted to visit the house two years ago and were prevented from doing so by Corona. That's why we looked forward to our stay for a long time and we would be rewarded. The house is wonderful and suitable for a very quiet holiday in nature. A rental car should be booked as it is just outside the town of Cercal. The location in the portal is not displayed correctly. We were there as a family with 2 children for 12 days and also cooked and grilled a lot. Communication with the host Antonio was perfect. We arrived very late due to a canceled flight, but that wasn't a problem.

Really welcoming host that provided us with some local specialities when we arrived. He came by to check on how we were doing and showed us where we could get eggs from the chicken a 100m from the house. The terrain is beautiful and the surroundings as well.

We stayed at this cozy and very lovely place for one week. We enjoyed the house and the surounding nature very much. It''s easy to make some different daytrips to beautiful places in the region around Cercal, Vila Nova de Milfontes and Odemira. Lonely beaches, easy walks and magnificient restaurants. António is the perfect and very kind host, who has got a lot of helpful recommendations for you...! The only sounds you can hear at night are frogs, sheeps, crickets and your own heartbeat. Go there and don't forget to walk to the little viewpoint on the property!!

Schön gelegenes Haus imitten der Landschaft von Alentejo.
Ein sehr feines kleines Häuschen mit einem schönen Blick auf die Lanschsft. Antonio, der Gastgeber, war sehr freundlich und hat uns gut mit Informationen über Strände, Restaurants etc versorgt.

Geweldig huis en locatie
We zijn 4 weken in januari 2021 in dit huis van Antonio geweest. Zeer comfortabel huis. Alles is aanwezig. De locatie op het landgoed maakt het verblijf uniek. Heerlijke omgeving om te wandelen. Schitterend uitzicht vanaf het terras. Antonio is een uitstekende gastheer en zorgt ervoor dat niets ontbreekt. Cercal ligt op op 10 minuten rijden. Leuke plaats met genoeg voorzieningen en terrasjes. De prachtige stranden liggen op een half uur rijden, keuze genoeg. Wij hebben genoten. Volgend jaar januari komen we weer terug.

Beautiful house and great host
The house is located in a dreamlike landscape and has everything you need to be happy. Bicycles, surfboard, guitar, and a big grill. António is a great host! There was delicious wine, bread, fresh eggs and fresh figs from the tree. The house is in great condition and is very clean. Thank you for the great time!

Uma fantástica estadia de uma semana onde pudémos usufruir do melhor que o Alentejo tem para oferecer! Dormimos bem, visitámos praias maravilhosas e comemos do melhor da região!
Na herdade aproveitámos os passeios a pé com os miúdos e as noites estreladas de Verão ajudaram a recarregar baterias longe da azáfama normal das férias na praia!
Bem pertinho, em Cercal do Alentejo, existem supermercados, talhos, pastelarias e até uma lavandaria self-service!
O Vinho e o pãzinho oferecedos pelo Sr António foram muito apreciados!
Voltaremos, isso é uma certeza!!

So peaceful
Magical stay in Antonio's house. The property has everything you need but the best part is outside ,sitting in the shade ,listening to the bells of the sheep and taking in the peace and tranquility of being in the countryside,away from noise, buildings and people. You could spend hours in the hammock or sitting on the jetty ,by the watering hole, just letting time drift by. Small town 5 mins away for all your needs and a choice of beautiful beaches 20 minute drive away.
Antonio was a kind and helpful host who was always available to help with any queries. I loved it and will definitely return .

Ein traumhafter und ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen
Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in unserem Häuschen. Unser Gastgeber war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Haus liegt auf einem großen Privatgelände mit Bergen und Wald. Es war wunderbar ruhig und still. Ein traumhafter Sternenhimmel!
Bis in die nächste Stadt sind es mit dem Auto nur ein paar Minuten. Hier gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Die wunderbaren Strände liegen ca. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt.

Ferienhaus im Alentejo
Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist toll gelegen, ruhig in einem Korkeichenwald. Antonio, der Gastgeber, ist sehr freundlich und großzügig. Das Haus ist nett eingerichtet, hat Terrassen aussenherum, Stühle, Liegen, alles, was man braucht.
Wenn wir wieder in diese Gegen reisen, würden wir dieses Haus gerne wieder buchen.

Alojamento rural em local muito tranquilo
Foi uma estadia muito boa, total tranquilidade a cerca de 20 kms da costa vicentina. Nunca vimos o anfitrião mas mantivemos sempre o contacto telefónico e tudo foi fornecido de acordo com o anúncio (fotos descrevem bem o local). Agradecemos ao Sr. António ter deixado bebidas (não bebemos alcóol mas foi muito simpático) e pão alentejano (uma delícia). O tempo passou tão depressa que nem conseguimos usufruir das bicicletas para explorar a propriedade.
Sem dúvida que recomendamos.

Tivemos as melhores férias de sempre em familia. Casa super acolhedora e limpa. Tivemos a possibilidade de visitar as várias praias da Costa Vicentina. Die vielen guten Bewertungen haben uns mehr als neugierig gemacht und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Problemlose Anreise, warmherzige Begrüßung von António, großartige Aussicht auf das 39ha große Grundstück und die Umgebung. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet, die Küchenausstattung zweckmäßig, aber ausreichend. Alles war sauber und liebevoll vorbereitet. Die besten Ausflugstipps und Köstlichkeiten aus der Region, die uns von António gegeben wurden, haben unsere Woche im Alentejo perfekt gemacht. Vier Fahrräder können genutzt werden. Nur die Hühner wollten keine Eier legen, aber das lag an der Jahreszeit :-)
Eine perfekte Unterkunft und idealer Ausgangspunkt für alle, die Ruhe und eine landestypische Unterbringung suchen. Die Gegend ist im Herbst sehr untouristisch, die Strände sind großartig und im Oktober menschenleer. Die Menschen freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Foi uma estadia espetacular, longe do stress onde podemos usufruir de paz, tranquilidade um local onde o silêncio impera e a natureza domina. As expectativas foram largamente superadas. A habitação estava em óptimo estado é acolhedora e com o conforto necessário, a localização permite acesso às fantásticas praias da Costa Alentejana. Nas noites de verão podemos observar o céu que no Alentejo nos surpreende com uma beleza indescritível. De realçar foi mesmo a hospitalidade com que fomos recebidos pelo Sr. António Raposo, um alentejano com alma e coração que nos fez sentir em casa, um homem de caráter, honesto, integro, generoso e autêntico, tenho a certeza que fizemos um amigo.
