Enjoyed the location. Disappointed with misleading information.

Location was excellent, size of apartment was good, bed was comfortable and sheets were crisp and clean. Handy convenience store downstairs with friendly owners and good selection. A couple good restaurants nearby. Easy walking distance to Metro, market, shopping street, central Porto, etc. The place could be fabulous if it were not for the poor upkeep.

The photos on booking.com were taken when the apartment was newly renovated, therefore misleading. The wood flooring is worn out. After reading a review from Oct 5 regarding a broken bed and poor condition of the shower floor, I contacted the manager and he assured me that these issues had been fixed. The bed was indeed new; however, the shower tray had not been repaired - a plastic rack had been placed on the floor to cover the damage and that was all. The shower drain was plugged and a big hairball was left. I do not think it had been cleaned before our arrival. Bring your own shower soap. The property claims to have a safety deposit box. There is a small passport-sized lockbox not attached to anything and when we asked the manager how to open it, he did not respond. There is no toaster as was shown in the photos. The carpet in front of the sofa is so filthy and torn that it should be thrown out. Be prepared to purchase toilet paper as they only leave one small extra roll. The hair dryer needs to be replaced. There is only 1 umbrella, not 3. We had to leave the tourist tax in cash in the key lockbox as soon as we checked in, but when we checked out, the cash was still there. In all our other accommodations, the tourist tax was included with the bookings.

Lovely apartment in a great area

The apartment was really lovely and spacious. It was in a great area - close to bars and restaurants, but just tucked away in a side street, which meant it was very quiet. Also, very close to Trindade station, which is a good central point to get around. A really nice apartment, in a great area. Thanks for the stay Fabio!

Good place, nice location and great host, definitely worth it and pretty well located (Trindade) so you can easily travel the entire city and suburban from the apartment.

A little dark but well, we weren't holiday to stay inside so it didn't bothered us. We could hear the neighbors a little bit.

Excellent!

Very kind host - easy to communicate with. Easy check-out. Proximity with reasonably priced restaurant and local artisanal "pastelarias". Outside of the tourist area and still very close to main metro station. Quiet location. Spacious property. Secured doors. Excellent bedding. Blinds on all windows, which is important for a good sleep. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice water pressure in bathroom Very fast internet.

If I really must write something: a bit far from the river but we can't have everything ;-)

No hassle to check in or out. Our host Fabio was most gracious and accommodating. We would highly recommend this accommodation

Lots of local restaurants were closed on Sunday which was a pity as our stay was Fri to Mon. Not a reflection of the property at all though, just an observation, and in fairness it is October!
