The hotel was well located in this interesting town , 40 minutes from San Sebastián by bus. We took advantage of the private parking on offer and used public transport during our stay here. The excellent staff were a bonus. They couldn’t do enough to help. Breakfast in the garden balcony overlooking the beach was amazing, as was the breakfast itself. The local bars and restaurants were bustling hubs of people enjoying themselves all day. No complaints at all.

Welcoming and helpful staff, very nice, comfortable room, very clean, quiet. Great location at the edge of the historic old town, which is charming. Close to the Camino, if you are walking. There is a terrace with beautiful views of the beach, where we had a picnic dinner. It looks like some of the rooms have that same view.

extraordinary place, beautiful room, extraordinary people (family) who run the entire facility, best location near all the bars, best restaurants and Balenciaga museum, and we had the best breakfast in our trip it was amazing, the views are unreal. Just perfect

Use of single use plastics. Also, I know this sounds funny, but after a long day of walking, hiking and exploring, it's nice to come back and watch a Futbal match without squinting. The tvs are tiny. Be nice to have a least something 36x28. Way to small.

A perfect location when walking the Camino. Receptionist at check in was so friendly & helpful. She recommended that I avail of breakfast next morning & she was so right. It was the best breakfast I had anywhere during my stay in Northern Spain. Room & bathroom were perfect. I cannot understand why its only rated 1 star....it provided so much more than I expected

Not only did we get a cozy, clean and well equipped room, but the receptionist was perhaps the kindest and most helpful staff I’ve ever met during my travels. My partner and I only stayed one day, but it was so pleasant that we decided to go come back for sure - not only to Getaria, but specifically to this hotel! :)

You have to accept a bit of road noise but it is not unpleasant and probably the same anywhere in town
