Have stayed previously and was quite happy to return.
The WiFi was not working and the TV was also not working, I suspect because the WiFi was down.
Not a problem for my stay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for South Eastern Coventry, just outside the city. Rural location so quiet.
Room was a little cold but not really a problem. Some noise from other rooms, dogs barking.
4.5
Very comfortable room, good size, nice accommodation block separate from the pub. Everything very clean. Very quiet location, was silent overnight (and this was a Saturday). Good if not particularly generous breakfast. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.
Dinner was average, one meal came with a couple of key ingredients missing and no explanation as to why.

The Oak is a really well laid out bar and restaurant with plenty of seating in different arrangements to cater for all party sizes. The accommodation as a separate block is something which works really well as it’s connected but no noise transfers. Parking is plentiful and the outside seating options are another plus
Nothing to dislike

Pub was excellent, room was great, great staff.
Shower was small, but water pressure was good.

Very clean, generous breakfast sit down menu. Room was clean and staff very polite . Car parking plenty and free. Great place, well kept refurbished.
Nothing.

Friendly staff, lovely food, clean and well presented room. Value for money. We will return.
We could not fault anything and we are picky travellers
Only let down was inconsiderate guests making noise at night. I put this on in the hopes that guests will be more considerate!
There is no need to shout down corridors and bang doors

Breakfast was excellent
Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable.
Location very good
On our stay there wasn't any hot water in shower so couldn't have a shower, in the summer this isn't how to run a b&b

Room was comfortable and clean, decorated in a contemporary style
Only one accessible socket point in the room, had to unplug kettle to charge phone and had to charge one at a time, bathroom a bit dated and shower riser too high I’m 5’6” but to have a shower without washing my hair I had to hold shower in my hand, there will be more guest at 5’ plus than 6’6” plus

The staff were friendly but we didnt have all the menus for our evening meal so missed out on the offers and we were forgotten about for breakfast and then some of it was only luke-warm and due to a missing delivery not all of it was available.
The room stank of bleach, the sheets and pillowcases stank (possibly due to the coloured cushion which probably regularly gets put on the floor then back on the beds without being washed.), ALL the flooring is laminate or LVT which meant every footstep and others' sexual relations echoed throughout the accommodation and the toilet use was clearly heard from the room above. The main door into the accommodation was right next to our room door so ALL coming and going disturbed us :-(

It was well located and was well managed.
Nothing major, it would have been nice to have had options for fruit juice and cereals as part of the breakfast menu.

did not do breakfast as we was away early, not offered alternative , ie drink on a night at the bar

Totally dog friendly which was very impressive to me but, that aside, the welcome was great, room comfortable and good quality food on offer

The room was very pleasant and clean. Everything we needed.
The Oak was very close to the venue we were attending.
We did not realise that evening meal should have been booked beforehand. On asking a member of staff at the bar if we could book an evening meal( it was 18.30 by then) we were told that was not possible as they we fully booked up that Saturday evening.

The staff, particularly the manager, were extremely polite, pleasant and helpful.
Everywhere was very clean.
Breakfast was great.

location
shower in room was broken! set to scolding hot as was not possible to use to the high temperature of water. Explained to staff when we went to check out and all that was said was “sorry about that” no offer to see if they could do anything about it. we have said here before and always enjoyed our visits but this one was overall disappointing from start to finish as our meal arrived cold and everything we tried to order wasn’t available

It was close to where we needed to be. They allowed dogs in the rooms
Although they allowed dogs in the pub when I first went in to check in two decided they didn't like each other. If it had escalated I am not sure how they would have dealt with it.
When I and my friends checked in we were not advised that we needed to book a table. My friends when they phoned up were told we would be OK as unlikely to be busy. When we met at 7 so not late we were told the last bookings were for 7 and that they were full. They had tables with reserved on them just to stop you sitting there as they had no further bookings.
Communication was very poor and although the manager for the evening was very apologetic she had little or no authority just saying she couldn't do anything for us and to contact the head office.

Location great, stayed a few times in twin/double, always clean
I was given a disabled room on this visit not requested, shower rail and no curtain and steam from morning shower still there when I returned from meetings
3.0
Bed was comfy. Shower was good.
Tea and coffee provided.
Poor lighting in room - not good enough to read or work. TV wasn't working.
Bathroom door wouldn't open properly.. hit the bath. Grubby corners in bathroom and black mould on tile grout. Only one wooden chair in a double room. No easy chair. Only a blind to window no curtains. Bare floorboards.
Evening meal nothing special .
4.5
nice rooms, friendly staff, great location for what I needed.
