Lovely place, well landscaped. Apartment was huge and lots of space on balcony.

Fresh rolls, and fruit. Good choice.

Queue for tea and coffee sometimes but not a problem for us.

Amazing and comfortable stay in a gorgeous resort

Marvelous resort, staff are amongst the best i've ever encountered. Always smiling, always helpful and always natural. Facilities, room, cleanliness, everything was absolutely stellar.

Everything was perfect, maybe just the quality of the mattress could be better but it's absolutely not a problem

We really enjoyed our stay in Estrela da Luz.

The apartment was lovely and clean, it had a great view of the sea. Air con in both the main living room and bedroom were provided. The gym facilities were good.

When we arrived to the hotel, we were informed that a credit card was needed or a cash amount of €250 for a deposit. I think there could be improved protocol around the deposit in future. We were happy to pay using our debit cards or give our credit card details but this wasn’t allowed. I would recommend maybe hiring a car to explore local areas and bring a jacket/ shirt as it is breezy at night time.

Nice place.

Great staff, apartment was huge, clean and well equipped for a family of four. Price was competitive when compared to other options.

Not much. Beds were a bit firm for my liking and the resort was quieter than expected. Would recommend hiring a car to explore other resorts also. Would also recommend bringing some jackets/hoodies as does get windy in the evening.

The staff are so helpful and friendly and the hotel is really well kept. Would definitely recommend.

Great spacious apartment with everything you need. Fantastic balcony! Breakfast was really good too.

Nothing the apartment was great! The only one small thing is that not all the equipment was working in the gym so had to wait to use.

A great base to explore Algarve from

- Plenty of parking space available outside and in the garage - 10 min walk to the beach - Breakfast has wide variety and good quality - Spacious room with basic cooking utensils - The sea view from our 2nd floor apartment was amazing. Requesting a sea view here is worth it.

A lovely relaxed environment with good facilities, a friendly staff & exceptional value for money.

Close to everything. This is a well kept aparthotel with some lovely gardens, a decent gym & spa facilities. Staff is all very nice, so helpful and always with a smile. I can not fault anyone I came in contact with. The breakfast is excellent & so well run by the lady who ensures food is regularly replenished. The buffet is small but fresh and offers everything you could want. We had a one bed standard apartment, decor is dated ( the superior ones are much nicer) but the apartment is clean, spacious & the shower had great pressure. First floor apartments have really big balconies so definitely the ones to try and book. It was also lovely and quiet at night & even generally in the day there was a relaxed vibe, it seems to attract a nice crowd. All in all a great value for money stay. I highly recommend here!

Excellent location, loved the area with lots of good food options, definitely plan to return!

The apartment was very spacious and finished to a high standard with an extremely well equipped kitchen, although we didn’t cook. The pool was excellent with a large amount of sun loungers but although it was a quite time of year some guests still felt the need to reserve beds for the entire day..disappointing considering it’s such a lovely place and you’d expect more given it’s hardly your usual chavs abroad locations!

Beautiful infrastructures, wonderful gardens and very nice staff!

Apartment was as described on web at time of planning. Great support from management at planning phase. Advised us in advance of some maintenance work to be performed during our stay (no surprise), apartment very clean, a few basic products at arrival (6 pods of coffee, milk, water, fresh oranges from the region). Even communicated with me after my return hom to advise that I had forgotten something in the room and proposed to mail it to me. Wow...very few hotels do this nowadays. Congratulations to all! Keep up the good work.

Fabulous

Apartment was stunning, all amenities superb. Fully working kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer tall, cooker, oven. Coffee maker. Two huge balconies.

Wonderful aparthotel, great staff all perfect, unil you step outside. Filthy streets, dog muck everywhere, very run down place, would never go back to praia de luz

Loved my stay and will be back.

Close to the beach and restaurants. Adults only pool and loved the balcony and the facilities of a washing machine and dishwasher.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and so were the pillows.

Exceptional

Wasn't expecting the apartment to be so well equiped. We had cards, board games, Xbox with a lot of games (altough outdated). The kitched had everything necessary. The bathrooms had shampoo, shower gel, and moisturizing cream. We had one hairdryer as well. The apartment was massive. We had access to the outside pool, but also inside pool with sauna and jacuzzi. We also had access to the gym, which was well equiped for a daily workout.

we have been to this complex 5 times now and never have we been disappointed. Staff are so friendly and helpful. the apartments/studios have all you could ask for. spa facilities fantastic! woman who does massages is amazing!

Enjoyable - visit to friend

Clean, close to my friend I was visiting in Luz

Narrow single beds x 2. Too light bedding. One of the towels provided on arrival wasnt clean. Access to my block was through underground carpark. There were garden hoses across this path and twice I was wet - once soaked. These times were 10am and at around 10.40pm Breakfast was basic and despite being the only diner on one morning the staff were not that attentive.

Lovely stay, shame about the boring apartment.

Very well kept grounds and spa area

Our apartment was a bit bland, no character to it. The sauna bench was slightly broken at the top. This was highlighted with red and white plastic tape. why not just fix it?

Enjoyable

THe complex is well run , neat and tidy

The entrance to E block is very dark . the light inside the building does not illuminate until you are nearly at the lift . There is a requirement to have an extra light placed outside the entrance to Block E . It can be very dangerous for people entering the building not being able to see if someone is hiding in the bushes just before the entrance

The property was well situated. The grounds beautifully maintained. The room well kitted out and well maintained.

I specifically requested a walk in shower on booking. I reiterated my request the week before we arrived. I explained the reason for requesting a walk in shower on both occasions. On arrival, I was told that they had no rooms with walk in showers and no disabled rooms. The request was not a fad on my part. I have mobility issues and cannot get into a bath. I could have saved myself £600 and stayed with my sister and her husband. I didn’t stay with them as they also have a bath. I complained when I arrived, explaining my situation. We were basically told “That’s how it is”. Having spent a week unable to access the shower, it spoilt my holiday. BE MORE HONEST WITH YOUR CLIENTS NEXT TIME.

Nice but NOISY

the hotel was really nice with great facilities and the staff were very helpful.

the room was noisy, especially at night. it was advertised as sound proofed but I find that difficult to believe. on the second night my upstairs was dragging chairs across the floor until 1am the garage door (underneath my apartment) was opening and closing at all hours. Had I known how noisy it was, I wouldn’t have stayed here.

Great location, disinterested staff.

A lot of space in the apartment, good location, great swimming pool. Very relaxing calm place, great to rest and disconnect.

On arrival I would have appreciated if the staff showed me to the apartment in the evening. I got the instruction to go outside the garden, walk behind the swimming pool, find the small metal door behind (at night) go through the garage, go up 1 floor, up the staircase and then take a right. Please don't give people a puzzle to find their apartment instead just show them, it takes a few minutes for you while it took half an hour for us! Once we found the apartment the card didnt work so we had to go back only for the lady at reception telling us that they didnt update our key card properly and that is why it didnt work. In general some of the staff wasn't very helpful and seemed quite disinterested which is a shame.

Location

Old room, what you see on the pictures is not what you get. Be careful! Two separate beds instead of one bigger. they woke us up 3x. Once for cleaning and twice calling us what time we will check out the next day, I don’t understand this, they have a box where you throw your key card and thats it.
