Nothing
The hotel is very uncomfortable.
You can hear everythg from your room who walk in coreidor or in upstairs.
There is bot elevator and no bellboy , you should carry your luggagrs for 40 stairs :(
The building is not good for a hotel.
Completly disappointment!

Friendly staff, proximity to beach & sea, Wi Fi ok,
Menu same for lunch as dinner. No Chicken, beef, pork on the menu No pizza, No Ice Cream on desert menu Table spacings at breakfast were too close together No scrambled eggs on most mornings No Toast on any morning
NO LIFT
Isolated location with little tourist development around. I bus to Palermo per Day 7.30 am Must have a CAR to stay here

The location is a little remote and it was not crowded in April, so we had plenty of peace and quiet. I found out that the crew of Ocean's 12 rented the entire hotel when they filmed some scenes in Scopello and they have pictures and autographs on the walls.
Breakfast was basic, but the menu for lunch and dinner in the restaurant was quite good.
4.1
Hotel was located at the beach, had umbrellas and chairs. Hotel had pool. Breakfast was very good by Italian standards - eggs and bacon, croissants, different cheeses and local cured sausage. Nutella and breakfast cereals etc. Room was small for one queen bed and two single beds (one single bed was actually sofa converted to bed).
Hotel restaurant was quite pricey. Beach had trash which is unfortunately too common in Sicily. Both Waze and google maps could not correctly find way to hotel for some reason. Coffee from Nestle machine was average. Rooms had drying racks outside but ours was smashed.
4.1
The view to the sea.
The hotel is old and not kept. The rooms look really old, paint peeling, holes on the walls and doors, scratches everywhere; isolation in the windows damaged, balcony doors barely closing. Bathroom was very old, shower was peeled on the floor - at first glance looked like it was dirty. The bar lounge was very small, as was the whole hotel. the swimming pool is covered in shade half of the day and therefore the water is extremely cold all the time. It was hard to find someone at the bar to get some drinks. while at the swimming pool. The beach, even though it is private, was not kept and therefore was extremely dirty. There was a lot of natural waste - bambu canes - which made it hard to walk around without hurting your feet, but the worst was all the plastic waste mixed in the sand and in the bambu waste. Nothing looked at all
like the pictures in booking. The breakfast was very poor in variety and in quality. There was a paper at each room that said it was forbidden to bring food or drinks from outside of the hotel and the excuse was for hygiene and sanity reasons - that is just a no go when traveling with children, as they don’t eat only the meals, they need in between snacks - which the hotel didn’t have available. Plus the water was non drinkable, but there was no sign or warning about it anywhere - which becomes even worse if you can’t buy water outside of the hotel! Lastly the restaurant food is extremely expensive - the coperto (which is a fee you pay for the initial bread and so on and kind of like a forced tip) is 2,5€ per person and we didn’t always get any bread on the table. There was no kids menu! Then I complained at reception that I couldn’t feed my kid on the restaurant and they were indeed very kind and actually showed me a printed copy of a kids menu.

the location close to the beach
the property is not a four star. poor rooms very basic breakfast equally poor

This hotel could be great but it is NOT a 4 star hotel. Disappointing and poorly managed in too many areas.
The position of the hotel is fantastic for the beach, just a few steps down from the swimming pool/ terrace to a sandy family- friendly beach with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas provided for all. But, many of the facilities are tired and well worn and most of the staff seemed disinterested
Pool - in need of refreshing and too often there was the bad smell of drains.
Room - clean, comfortable beds but the bathroom was shabby (rusted, missing/damaged tiles). We had the room at the top of the stairs and most disappointing was being unable to sleep due to the noise most nights.
Breakfast - buffet, reasonable selection, mediocre coffee from a machine was disappointing.
Restaurant - well appointed and lovely terrace overlooking the sea BUT the service was poor, very slow, the food was underwhelming for the price and often menu options were not available.
Isolated location - Alcamo has very few facilities and the surrounding area has a chaotic road layout with the railway running through the centre of the narrow streets, not pleasant for pedestrians and heavily littered with rubbish. On the stretch of beachfront were two beach cafes which were good.
EXPENSIVE TAXIS - without a car, you could feel trapped! We tried different taxi companies and via the hotel but all taxis were extortionately priced. A taxi 4.5km to the next town, Castellammare del Golfo, we were charged 50euro return. The hotel's vagueness about the cost of airport transfers was explained when we were charged 90euros each way.

Was on beach- great pizza place 2 doors down (BluWater something). Pool & Beach area was nice.
Room WAS NOT as expected. paid for sea view with Terrace. I got a lower level room with a patio area right on pool deck. Look at photo my room was the one on far right. My view of sea was thru glass fence of pool on first floor. When asked to move upstairs was told no! As clerks were talking in Italian (which I understood by the way) I was being difficult & they didn’t want to change paperwork. Same thing when we went to breakfast- was assigned a table in middle of room- when asked to move to window view was told no. It would not have been difficult to move a card & switch tables. The tables (yes there were several unoccupied by the window ) sat empty the ENTIRE time we were there! Rooms in need of paint- it was chipping and visible mold by bed table. Would not go again

The location is superb and the chef excellent. We had some of the best food on our holiday in the restaurant with spectacular views. This was the highlight. The room was small, in need of refurbishment and the bathroom inadequate and unclean. We were given what is described as a garden room but there is no access to the garden and you are next to a road whereas the beach view rooms I suspect are much better with the added benefit of the sea view. The highlight was the talented young chef who was amazing. It really needs to carry out the required refurbishments to the 'garden' rooms.

The included breakfast was outstanding! Staff was super helpful and super nice. Just a great all around experience
Trash in the area - not the hotels fault and also parking when the hotel had an event - no reserve parking. Both no big deal

the breakfast was great.and the view was awesom. not to mention a beautiful beach and a great resraurant.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too.
The noise! We could hear every noise, our neighbours bathroom fans, the coffee machine in the lobby, people walking up the stairs. It's so noisy we got little sleep, which is a shame as the hotel itself is so nice.
4.1
The hotel is located right at the beach, which is fantastic. Restaurant food was good, though rather expensive. Summer fun at the beach may have lessened the disappointment, but on stormy days off-season, the poor condition of the room could be unbearable. It could probably pass at half the price.
Our room was on the ground floor and had a balcony to the swimming and beach area; however, the balcony glass doors could not be closed or locked, someone outside could easily push it open. Portions of the wall in the room were too moist, paint was flaking off onto the floor, a real risk for molds. There were dirt and calcic deposits in the bathroom, and water from the faucet and shower smelled of molds. Internet connection was unstable, wifi would intermittently disappear. Breakfast was served, but some choices turned out to be packaged food and drinks, not freshly made.

service and customer needs were met beyond normal.the staff was so helpful & accommodating.i checked late nite & they even ordered me food & provided water tea etc.didnt like room & next day got upgraded to suite with a view.staff was extremely understanding & the best bit was since my check in was early they packed me breakfast to go.now who does that? very genuine very nice which made the stay very comfortable & 5 starish.will definitely recommend & stay again.10/10

1. View from the room was nothing like advertised on Booking. We were informed that "deluxe" was a category, and apparently we got the worst view (ground floor, next to wooden structures/recycle bin). A lot of people coming by, looking directly in the window/terrace. Directly next to swimming pool.
2. Bathroom door was not properly fitted to frame. Had to push it hard to attempt to close it. Same with shutters and terrace windows.
3. Wind was howling under the main door.
4. Definitely not soundproof. Hotel decided to rent restaurant/pool area for birthday party and it was hard to sleep.
5. During aforementioned party main area of restaurant, including outside terrace with seaview, was closed to regular guests. Only internal part of restaurant (during normal operation considered as service area) was available, and all of that without any notice. Not expected form **** hotel.
6. Eventually we were kind of forced to eat outside the hotel (scopello) 25 minutes by car - all in all a good choice, as food was much better there
7. Not clean/need refurbish - shower area needs a total makeover, same the walls and doors (even locks were coming off the wall)
8. Private beach was not really that private - we were once asked to move by fisherman using that area around sundown.
9. Breakfast below expectations - definitely room for improvement.
10. No kettle
11. In current state I would not give more than ***, and I don't consider it worth the price.
1. Location is PERFECT. Couple of meters from the sea. Sand beach, beautiful views.
2. Clean swimming pool with shower area.
3. Staff - very friendly, very nice, very helpful! When confronted about the view - they offered "as a gift" upgrade for next night to "best room". View was much better, also room much bigger. Highly appreciated.
4. Even though not everything was perfect (as above) we spent there a very relaxing time (reading a book, sunbathing, swimming and listening sound of the sea).
Thus, if only the hotel improves at least couple of the above flaws, the place can be perfect :)
4.1
Great little hotel directly on a long sandy beach with a swimming pool. Beach towels and sunbeds. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff especially Lucia on reception. We would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday. Reserve a room with a sea view if possible.
4.1
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We could change into a room with a beautiful balcony and view to the sea after one day, which was absolutely splendid. The beach was lovely (soft sand, warm waters and not crowded at all, nice sunbeds and umbrellas for hotel guests at the ready) and the food at the restaurant was phantastic. The hotel was extremely clean. We absolutely loved it there!
The first day the sea contained some plastic and algae - but that's noone's fault, and all other days the water was clear and beautiful!
4.1
supportive hotel staff
Newly but poorly renovated:
- synthetic floor pulling up so that door of toilet is not opening
- shower water not flowing, so that you can max use it 2 minutes before making a flood in the toilet
- beach not cleaned in the morning, basically like free beach
All in all, I did not appreciated the premium 4star price with a very basic furniture.

beautiful, clean beach, very nice and helpful personel.
Very, very tastful cusine, dinner at the beach fantastic
It was pleasure to have our relax days in this place
4.1
The room was very confortable (great bed and pillows), staff was very friendly and breakfast was good.
The picture of the beach is a bit misleading, we stayed in early October and perhaps the sea level was higher than summer time but the space between the hotel and the water was barely enough for one rough of chairs.
4.1
The hotel is right on the beachfront and perfect if you want to sleep to the sound of the waves. The hotel is very clean and compact and out of high season was fairly quiet which made for a relaxing stay. The beach bar attached to hotel is quiet nice and does the job. The bar is used by the locals as well, but was it was never overly busy or uncomfortable. There is a lovely port town 10 minutes up the road by car with a great marina and a lot of great restaurants. The hotel will happily sort out a taxi which will cost about 25 Euros for a return trip.
The hotel is located in quiet a residential area which makes it a little remote if you want to eat or venture outside of the hotel. I would recommend to hire a car if you see a little more of Sicily. The stretch of beach either side of the hotel wasn't very clean which was a shame, with a lot of uncollected trash and washed up vegetation. A shame as a little TLC by the local authority would make it a really nice stretch of beach. Maybe in high season it's different.
4.1
Room was very nice and confortable with a fanstatic sea view.
Quiet, almost exclusive beach.
Restaurant food was very nice, although quite expensive.
Hotel staff were polite and very helpful during our stay.
Nothing to do in Alcamo Marina outside of the hotel and beach. The next town is 5km away and you'll want to head there for things to do.
No lunch menu. Waiter was rude when we tried to order just a couple of sides.
