We just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Ilikai hotel and luxury suites. After looking at several other suites in the building, we booked suite 309 for 11 nights for my husband and I and our 3 kids (ages 9, 11 & 13), because of its large square footage compared to other units, and it was great! Suite 309 has a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to make meals. We loved the open-air lobby at the Ilikai which led out to the harbour and onto a beautiful sandy beach and lagoon. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We contacted him a couple of times and he provided a prompt response. While Waikiki beach is walking distance for daily outings, the beach in front of the hotel was also beautiful at all times of the day and evening. We often saw giant sea turtles swimming alongside us. On Friday evening, in the lobby there was live music and hula dancers, which we enjoyed watching as a family. We used the swimming pool, which was relaxed and not too crowded and had comfortable loungers and umbrellas. The unit is just a short walk to the Ala Moana mall, which has a great selection of shops as well as a Foodland grocery store. We also enjoyed a variety of restaurants nearby: The Aloha Kitchen and Sunny’s Local Grind had great breakfasts as well as we found the nearby Food Trucks had good selection for the entire family. We are definitely happy we chose the Ilikai suite 309 for our memorable family holiday and we would love to come back!

Perfect location for what we like to do. Car rental available in the lobby. Very nice eating establishments. Kitchen suited our needs. However the carpet was stained and both mattresses in the second room need to be replaced. The owner was very easy to work with. The unit was on the third level, so not alot of wait time in the elevators.

The unit comfortably accommodated two couples. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve a few meals. Honolulu is expensive so this is a boon to those travelling on a budget. Arvis was a pleasant host and allowed us a late checkout which was appreciated. If you are looking for a clean, simple, and central Waikiki rental, this is it.

Nice location. First impression opening door, door jam filthy dirty. Furnishings are a bit outdated at the location. Flooring needs to be cleaned or replaced. The beds were very uncomfortable. I was disappointed we each had only one bath towel to use. This meant we had to do laundry more frequently. Laundry location convenient to room, but not the cleanest and no trash can in the room to empty lint from dryer.

This was a great location for us. Right by the beach and walking distance to the Waikiki area. It sometimes got a little noisy at night with people out on the street but turning on the AC units to just run their fans created enough white noise to block it out.

The unit was clean and tidy. Our host was responsive and helpful. The condo is on the older side and could use some upgrades -especially windows. It’s in the Ala Moana side and on the 3rd floor so street noise can be a problem.

We had a terrific family vacation staying here! Very comfortable for 2 kids, 2 adults. Perfect location - easy walk down to the beach, we took surf lessons, drove to hikes, the North Shore. The Ilikai even has hula on the patio and a perfect view of fireworks on Friday evening!

Great place. Amazing space. I brought my family of 5 and both grandmas. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay, fully stocked kitchen, laundry down the hall. We only used our rental car one day to go to the north shore. Everything else is walking distance to the beach, two fun pools, shopping, and many restaurants. Bonus, the sofa pulls out into a bed. Host was quick to respond, even before our trip. Our flight got in early and host even let us check in a little early. Thank you. We definitely recommend staying here and we will book again when we come back.

Extremely impressed with our (4 adults) stay at this property, starting from the moment we were offered early check-in to the moment we left. Huge space, double balcony and bathrooms, with a full kitchen! Dinning room table, also had a lovely living room, place was more then accomadating for us. Great price as well and property host communication was nothing short of spectacular! Had a car but so close to everything, we rode scooters and walked everywhere. Vallet parking was $45 a day and nothing but great staff very friendly and awesome! Tips are not expected but are greatly appreciated. Awesome view of the harbor, there's coffee for the morning, pokè for lunch, super swanky restaurant on top of the hotel for dinner (30th floor, gotta try it! Awesome views and great grub #Pesca) and ice cream for late night, a market, all incuded in the hotel, lots of other walking distance restaurants too and shopping! All in all, great place to stay at. Will definitely be staying again! Mahalo!

This location was fantastic. Walking distance to the beach and the unit had several snorkeling sets. It is in a hotel so the check in process was weird and we didn’t receive a door code until hours after check in when I messaged the host. Parking is expensive so we parked in the harbor and it was less expensive. The unit was a nice size and had a large balcony that faced the very busy city streets. This unit was advertised as a two bedroom but it was really a studio with accordion dividers that didn’t actually close all the way so as I was in my bed I could see my 14 year old son that was sleeping on the sofa couch. No privacy!! We also had a bathtub that would not drain. So half of us would be showering with the previous person’s water on our feet. The dishwasher also did not work and had standing water on the bottom. We notified the host and they apologized but did nothing to rectify the situation. We had 6 people staying there but there were only 5 towels, and one towel had a live cockroach in it. We were able to get more towels from the cleaning service. Over all we didn’t let it ruin our trip but we didn’t spend much time inside either.

So much fun staying here at this prime located property. Was fun just watching the street below, let alone walking around below and enjoying the lagoon and beach right near. Definitely feel a part of the activity. Beautiful palms! Excellent!

3 adults and the unit was PERFECT! My mom had her own side & bathroom, plenty roomy for us all. This unit has EVERYTHING you could need for a home away from home! Corner unit so we didn't get the house keeping/elevator/hallway noise/traffic but you could hear the street noise though. But we just closed the windows & had the AC on so it wasn't too bad. This is located in walking distance of shopping, dinning & Starbucks so we didn't have to take the car out each time. Thank you for a great experience, I would definitely reserve here again.

This apartment was in an excellent location with great facilities. It was the perfect size for 4 adults. The kitchen size was fantastic for us to cook. Having two separate bathrooms was amazing especially for our group with an elderly member.. We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment for the week. Would highly recommend.!!

We were pleasantly suprised at what a fabulous complex the condo is in, with gift shops, etc in the main lobby, and a beautiful stroll down to the pools, lagoon, beach and park. The lanais provide upfront views of the city and the sunrise. The unit needs some updating, was clean except the stove, and really needs towels and new sheets. Overall great place to stay.

The condo we stayed in was advertised as a 2 bed / 2 bath but they only had sliding vinyl doors separating the “bedrooms”. The area was convenient and close to everything. Overall cozy and comfortable.

Great location for family, near the lagoon for kids. However poorly stocked, older condo. Towels and bed linen past their due by date. Bathrooms dirty with decades of use. Mean provision of soaps etc. The biggest disappointment was the incredible noise from the street.

Was not really clean. No sheets to fit on pull out couch. Twin beds were not really full size twin. Master bed was only a double. 6 people reserved, 6 towels. Kitchen appliances (especially stove filthy). If you are going to have fake plants in your condo, at least dust them (or remove them!). I would not stay here again.

This place had the room, amenities and location on point! It was in close distance from necessities and activities. Beautiful hotel and great views. Their aroma Cafe had delicious smoothies & acai bowls! Check in and out was easy and straight to the point. No free parking though $29 a day for valet.

The location for this place is really convenient. It is walking distance away from the beach, the main shopping areas, and restaurants in Downtown Waikiki. The view is also amazing. The owner also left us a gift once we checked in. I would recommend staying at this apartment!

Property furniture, curtains and linens are in need of update. Fabric on furniture is very soiled. Needs new towel linens for bath. Cable service is sketchy very few channels come in clear w/o being pixelated. Kitchen is very nice and bathroom and vanity area is very nice. But remember you are not in room much.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The beds were super comfortable. All in all, a great place to stay. The two negatives but are mangable is the wifi and the bathroom. The wifi is very weak, it goes out of range constantly. I don't recommend streaming Netflix or anything that requires a strong signal. The bathroom has no door where the toilet is. Very weird. The toilet and shower are in it's own room with no door. Again, these things are managable and did not ruin our trip. Wonderful place! Highly recommend!

Great location! Fabulous views of Waikiki and the Ali Wai canal and able to watch outrigger canoe practice in the evening. Easy walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen (no oven), able to cook meals. Funky set up but easily accommodated my family of 5. Valet parking available for $30/day with in and out privileges. Limited metered street parking.
