Abendessen etwas zu lieblos für 4 Sterne hotel
Zimmer nicht so geräumig wie erwartet!

Absolutely beautiful property, full of character, the perfect mix of new and old.
Our set menu food was a little meh sometimes. We ate at their sister hotel ‘Sepp’ one evening and that was superb. A huge comparison.

Very nice room; very well appointed; excellent breakfast; great location
Dinner not quite the level of the price; in total quite expensive; no parking

SPA zone is realy cool!
We were expected any kind of outmeal for breakfest but didn't get it. This hotel is ok, but it is realy overpriced. We had one double room with balkony for us and studio for our daughter and in the both rooms we saw on the floar some kind of insekts like cockroaches. Not happy about that! The SPA zone in this hotel is divided into a zone for naked people and a zone for guests in swimming suits like us. But naked couple came into our zone and felt very comfortable. We couldn't say the same about us.

Everything was great at Eder Hotel, from the time of check-in, until the check-out. Attention to detail was great in every way, the whole branding and own products like the hand sanitizers just give it a great touch overall. Also the small touches like the personalized SPA bag, the complementary tea and voucher for the cable car in the end made it an overall great experience. Also the food at the cozy dining area outside was great and so were the drinks at the bar which stayed open until late hours. Breakfast was very good, once you figure out where everything is and how everything works, the dining/breakfast are was very well decorated and we loved the nice touch of the self-service juice/drinks area in the bar. Also thumbs up on the mixture of styles, from modern, to traditional Austrian to contemporany, they all blend in together and the different room styles mixing together provide you different areas to experience.
These are just nitpicks and they did not, in any way, make us less happy about our stay and experience at EDER. We thought it would be good to have some more information on how the different restaurants/dining areas work, where you can/should eat. We found it a bit confusing and the info guide was missing that information. Likewise, it would be good to have a some briefings or guidances displayed while breakfast is being served, explaining where one can find the different areas (it isn't that straightforward to figure out where the chef is, and that you should actually go inside what is normally a serviced bar to prepare your juices and drinks). One last remark is the way the indoor pool is structured, as it is the only pool area you can use a bit later in the day, if you do so, you have to enter/exit through the restaurant area, which makes it not so nice for the folks using the pool as well as for the ones having a meal. This is of course a bit hard to change as everything has already been built.

Amazing hotel with the coolest facilities, nicest staff and the most delicious food. Everything was perfect- mouth-watering breakfast buffet with local bio products, creative solutions in the spa area, extra friendly staff and great atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
