The view, the beach, the mini market, the pool, the waterslides, the restaurant near the beach.
The crowd, the indifferent staff, the main restaurant (crowded, unmade tables, etc.).
3.9
Everything was excellent, especially the food
I suggest the rooms to be cleaner.
3.9
The staff in the restaurant were very nice, good location, very clean. Good air conditioning in the room. Very nice Beach and pools, the room is good but small bathroom.
WiFi didn't work in riverside building, the parking is very far away from the entrance. There was no Air conditioning in the restaurant. Also the food is low quality, not enough options for vegetarians.

First of all the staff. Every single staff member went out of their way to say hello, ask how we were etc from the cleaners to the lifeguards.
Secondly the food, in particular the beachfront restaurant. We found the main food hall in the hotel crowded and neither as good food quality or half as busy/chilled as the beach front restaurant. Breakfast is the same every day but a good variety of cooked and cold food. Lunch and evening meal has a good variation of local foods and most were delicious. The local baklava was my wifes favourite! The dishes were constantly topped up and plates cleared quickly with staff once again smiling and friendly as they tidied away.
There was entertainment on every evening, the kids club and disco at 1930 each night a particular favourite of our kids. The animation team certainly earn their money with a variety of entertainment every day from morning till late at night, something for everyone from yoga to Greek night.
This hotel has a great balance of nice pools, right on the beachfront and I couldnt recommend enough for families.
It clearly states no reserving sunbeds however each night every single sunbed around the pools had towels on them and I mean at all 3 pools. By day 3 I was very tempted to take every towel and throw it in the pool as i couldnt get a sunbed or umberella for a family with 2 kids under 2!. If I was hotel manager I'd have my staff collect any towels on sunbeds by 8pm on a night and pile them in a corner. Sunbeds should be on a first come first serve basis daily. We went to the beach almost every day due to lack of sunbeds. The beach beds cost €6 a day which in an all inclusive is a first for us. The use of the slides is also an additional cost. Again, kind of eludes from the 'ALL' inclusive part of a hotel booking.
New Pillows, invest in new Pillows!!
Our room was cleaned once the whole time we were there, partly due to our kids needing a nap between 1-3pm when the cleaners came round. We asked if they could come earlier but we were told not possible which left our room in a sandy state by day 3.
HOT, the hotel dining room was unbelievably hot and uncomfortable during meal times. we sat watching managers attempt to alter the air con daily to no avail. Here's a tip, if you close the large window/doors to outside the aircon will keep the room cool. We had 2 kids under 2 and we had to sit with hand fans to keep them cool during meals.

we have 5 kids and they love it - we we’re staying near kids pool and they really enjoy.
all the animations program were most in French language and our kids didn’t understand! they have talk very little in English and that’s big minus!!! animators invited kids in English language but all the program was in French language- black point!

location was very good, the staff was friendly and it was next to the beach. very good access .
all around the resort was a very bad smell. the toilet didn’t work well and the bathroom was always wet and smelled.

Messonghi beach exceeded our expectations as before we read some reviews complaining about food etc. Food was absolutely amazing, for example, every dinner food was different, plenty of choices, including delicious sea food. Breakfast and dinner was also very good, really tasty and delicious! Also during the day icecream is available which was one of the best icecreams we had ever eaten. Hotel itself is located in a good location - you can reach Corfu town by approx 45min by bus which goes every 15-30min. We came to the hotel from the airport by public bus in 1h. Beach is very nice, exactly in front of the beach. Hotel haa a very good massage salon, prices are reasonable (~30€ for 30min massage). Yoga, which was very good, every day. Evening entertainment very enjoyable, interesting and full of fun. Up to 23:00 it’s quite load but no problem at all as it is evening entertainment :) The staff very helpful. To sum it up, it’s more like a 4 star hotel, very good priced for what they offer. Definitely value for money. Recommended!

very good location, helpful staff, many food choices, and very clean room!!!!

Bland,Luke warm. Some things only available in the other restaurant which may be exclusive to certain traveler's
The rooms were not the cleanest. Need updating. Terrible bed coverings. The shower enclosures are far too small; I’m not very big quite slim. So how a large person would manage in them I am unsure. and the pressure on the shower is far to great for the shower head that fly’s off the wall firing water everywhere.
Shower tray leaks so bad it flooded our room. Used around 15 towels to clean up the floor.
We moved rooms but it contained the same faults

All the staff we had contact with were very friendly, efficient and customer focussed. The resort complex is massive set in beatifully maintained gardens, located right on the beach, looking across the sea to Albania with spectacular views. The resort has many facilities, its own shops and a very hardworking animation team offering lots of daily and evening activities for children and adults. It even has an on site car hire agency. Pools and a beachside bar are found close to the beach area with seating and paid for sunloungers. Meals and snacks were provided in the main restaurant and beach restaurant and were varied and always tasty and plentiful. The Riverside block we stayed in was spacious with seating areas on the GF, located adjacent to a swimming pool, overlooking the river with its many boats with the mountains in the background. The room was in very good order with lots of storage, comfy beds, TV, a free safe, good aircon and furnished balcony. The bathroom was tiled with the best shower we have used in a hotel ! Moraitika and Messonghi villages are easily accessible on foot with lovely bars, shops and supermarkets. Several travel centres nearby offer various trips and activites.
Many of the following gripes are caused by selfish fellow hotel guests but which could in certain instances have been managed by the hotel. Whilst the location overlooking the river was quiet and you couldn't hear noise from the bar during the evening, there is no insulation between rooms and floors and you could literally hear everything from the adjacent rooms and especially the corridor. Whilst this is not an issue during the day and evening, during the night (every night) between 1:30am and 4:15am we were regularly awoken by selfish neighbours coming in drunk, arguing, screaming abuse at each other or playing music. Earplugs didn't work. As the resort is massive, (it is actually two resorts - the main one being MBH - International and the adjacent Marmara owned by the French arm of TUI), the bar area was full in the early evening, meaning that on two occasions we could not sit down and had to sit in the TV lounge and so missed the entertainment provided. On a couple of occasions we saw people "reserving" / saving tables by leaving cardigans and part consumed drinks when they went upstairs for food before returning. This was the same with the sunloungers in the morning where guests were putting towels out at breakfast time and staff didn't intervene. We went at the end of September when presumably it is a lot queiter with couples rather than large families. Whilst still really busy in the low season it must be crazily busy in high season. The restaurants have open balconies where it was a bit cooler to eat your meals, this is not meant to be racist but many of the French tourists in particular smoked before and after their meals in these areas of the dining room with no regard for people on adjacent tables eating their meals. Moraitika itself appears to have suffered in terms of commerce as a result of the pandemic and financial problems as many of the shops, bars and businesses looked abandoned.

Very pleasant stay. I fairly recommend Messonghi Beach Holiday Resort for everyone searching uncomplicated Holidays.
+ very friendly Staff, very Clean generally
+ food was good and versatile, non alcholic Drinks, beer, Cocktails and wines, icecream all day inculuded
+ Snack Bar
+ Location next to the Sea
+ Animation was great
- charging WiFi per day and per device
- the rooms where very Clean... but sadly the balcony was not that clean and the sunbeds in Bungalows are very dirty
- even it's Not to the Hotel but some guests reserve sunbeds in the Pool area with a towel early in the morning and mostly didnt use them. It would be nice to let other guests use the sunbeds as
Well if No one ist using them for a couple of hours.

spacious and clean
To far away from other amenities

The hotel had a good selection of food at the buffets, and a good amount of bars. Soft drinks, beer, wine and ice cream were self serve.
The hotel doesn’t have enough facilities for the amount of people staying at the hotel; there are 5 pools but we were only allowed to use 3. We asked if we could upgrade to use the additional pools but we’re told no as they limited number for health and safety. This often meant we couldn’t get a space next to the pool. The food was very average, and was the same every day.
3.9
I was skeptical as this hotel is a 3 star but I must say this place is AMAZING!!! We loved every single thing.
The food was amazing and there was always something to eat.
The kiddy pool was our fav.
The game area was fun.
So many little gems around the hotel. Make sure you explore it fully. Just make sure you have extra cash.
The drinking water situation was annoying if you have little ones.
The evening entertainment was a hit and miss. Some day were very good, other days were meh.

We stayed for one night in a superior family room then we moved to a 2 room bungalow for the rest of our holidays. There is no comparison between the two and not much difference in their price. The first one doesn't have any window not even in the bathroom. The shower peg would come off. If my holiday had to be in that room I would not have enjoyed it.
The 2 room bungalow was beautiful and very practical. Overall I found the organisation of the resort very efficient in relation to the food, problem solving, etc..
To begin with, before going there I had a terrible phone conversation with the Booking Supervisor, Patricia, when I called to ask whether we could have stayed in the bungalow from day 1 and whether the existing amendable booking I had with Booking.com could have been changed as Booking was waiting the confirmation from the resort and this was delayed.
The woman allegedely just returned from sickleave and I have to say it was in a very nasty mood, did not let me explain and was pretty rude to me, talking over me all the time, shouting at some point that she was not "my buddy" (???) and I found her so unprofessional and not customer oriented. Very puzzling how someone with such an attitude could have been left dealing with the customers... I thought it was a very bad start, however I was going on holiday and I didn't want to make a big fuss as I had already a reservation by then. Then subsequently, everyone I had contact with in the resort was actually very efficient and very nice and the was no sight of the rude supervisor.
Another thing I didn't like was the beach and the swimmingpools - on day 2 we felt compelled renting a car to go and explore the island. And I am so glad we did - all the other beaches in Corfu are FAR nicer than the one we had in the resort. The two swimmingpools were also very small, and as the other reviews said they other guests would leave their towels on the lounges so it was impossible to find a space despite having signs all over to say that it was forbidden. I felt it was responsability of the resort to ensure that the guests would comply with the policy.
The waterslides were OKish, nothing to rave about. The food was also OK - very little variety and everything tasted the same so we went out to eat a lot, we would only have breakfast there. It's not the kind of food that would make feel you re on holiday in a way.

Excellent food, big variety, a lot of options to chose.
3.9
It is a great family resort. We really enjoyed our holiday.
3.9
Very big nice family friendly hotel. We stayed in beachfront bungolow and it was very good, really just in front of the beach. it was really nice to sit in our balcony and enjoy.. Room was clean and size was ok. We had two problems in our room, about safe and toilet flush, but they solved them quickly.
There is no free wifi, and I don't understand why. We paid 200€ per night/room, all inclusive and it could have been 202 and not bother with this.. Anyway, we bought internet for 3 days and for 2 devices and i thought, i made it very clear for the lady working in reception. She gave me one code and confirmed that it is for two devices but turn out to be only for one device and when we went back to reception later about this, they said since we can't confirm it there is nothing to do!! Receptionist called someone to ask, probably manager, and got an answer not to give extra code. I am not after 3 Euro but what kind of attitude is that??? Seriously!!! This shows to me why they have 3 stars..
