Amazing vacation home located in Northeast Indiana's beautiful Steuben County, on beautiful 854 acre All Sports Hamilton Lake, the fourth largest lake in the state of IN!
Vintage 1920's cottage has been recently updated to include high end modern amenities, all while keeping its original rustic feel. Our home promises not to disappoint.
Hamilton Lake is just 10 minutes from Angola and is perfect for all your fishing, water sports, shopping, wine tasting, antique shopping, tobogganing, ice skating in the winter and just spending time with family. Included in the rental: Pier for your boat, gas grill, bikes, kayak, pedal boat, Otter Island Raft with pop up seats, corn hole and much more. With 80 feet of lake frontage, and a sandy bottom, it's perfect for all swimming activities. There is also a park right behind our property with basketball court and play set, picnic tables and room for kids to run.

House has sleeping arrangements for maximum of 12 people. 1 bedroom on main level has a Queen bed. 2 bedrooms on 2nd level, 1 with a King bed, baby crib & sleeping cubby, the 2nd with 1 Queen w/ Twin trundle & 1 additional Twin. Walk out lower level has 2 sleeper sofas, and 1 queen Murphy bed. Pack n play and high chair also available.

The home was everything and more than expected. It is well appointed with all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We were also happy that we were able to bring our boat and enjoy the lake. It was a week that went too fast!

The house was beautiful, well maintained, stocked with everything you could need including life jackets, paddle boat, kayak, floats, and more. Bev was awesome to communicate with, the neighbors were friendly and their properties were also well cared for. The fire pit was perfect, and our kids had a blast.

Overall, our experience was great. The host is overly helpful and great to work with. The neighbors were a little short with us on the extra parking in the park, as they were having a party later in the night. We tried to explain to them, we would be gone as we were getting ready for a wedding.

Family Time
This property is an amazing place for multiple families to spent time relaxing and enjoying the lake. It was clean and had all the amenities needed for indoor and outdoor activities. The view of the lake is priceless, especially if you enjoy sunrise. Hamilton is a special place for our family. We really enjoyed our time here.

Lovely and comfortable lake house
The house is lovely with a wall of windows overlooking the lake. The spaces are all excellent from kitchen to dining to living room to bedrooms, lower level apartment and both porches. All beds were quite comfortable. There are stairs down to the docks and lake and a paddle boat and kayak for guest use. There is an easy to use ladder to get into the water. It was cold in the beginning of June but by the end of three weeks was a good temperature. We rented a pontoon boat for one of our three weeks and the 11 year old grandchild loved being pulled behind on a float. Weekends on the lake can be busy but the weekdays in June were very quiet. The youngest (3) grandchild loved the little playground across the lane. Beverley, our hostess, was fantastic and helpful. I highly recommend this rental. We really fell in love with the house, its setup, comfort and decor.

We loved this place!
Bev made everything so easy from the time of booking until after check out. She was communicative, helpful, and very professional. This property was perfect for our family with smaller children as there was already a crib and an additional pack-n-play set up for use. The lake views are absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit making s’mores and taking it all in. We will definitely look to book this one again next time we’re headed to the area!

The most perfect lake house!
We so enjoyed our week at Lake Hamilton! Bev and her family have created a wonderful setting to relax with family and friends. From the minute we walked in we knew we had made the right choice. The view from the gathering room is fantastic! We
enjoyed peaceful evenings sitting on the front and back covered porches and beautiful days on great chairs by the water. Our granddaughter loved the park right across the street. Her love of the toddler swing and slide kept us all busy! The home was spotless with lots of wonderful appliances in the beautiful kitchen. Beds were comfy with beautiful bedding and lots of extras if needed. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed daily cruises on the lake. Neighbors were friendly and helpful! Confused
The property was very nice and well stocked. We were not able to use it as much as we would have liked. My mother in law who was not at the property developed COVID and was admitted into the hospital so we left in a rush Friday. Bev texted about a pillow that was damaged. I called her back and she told me she was very disappointment in how the property was left. We completed everything on the check out list. If the check out list had requested us to clean before leaving we would have. I thought the cleaning fee covered this. I watered her flowers and took out the trash on Sunday as she requested. I have rented vacation homes at through various other rental companies and I probably won't use VRBO again. Don't get me wrong, the property is beautiful it just wasn't worth it for us at this time.

Family Gathering
The cottage is charming, very clean, and perfect for families or adults. My three sisters and I spent the weekend there with our 89 year old mother. I appreciated that Bev contacted me well in advance to talk about the stairs and challenges that someone with mobility issues might face. The views of the lake are wonderful and the cottage is so cozy that we didn't even mind the snowy morning on our last day there. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to get away yet still have a comfortable space with all the amenities. Bev was a complete pleasure and always very responsive.

The property and the views of the lake were beautiful. The owners have thought of everything, their accommodations were top of the line. Fantastic lake house!
My wife and I took our adult kids on a long weekend getaway. Had a great time. This is a beautiful house and property. Killer views across the lake. The house is so cozy and nicely decorated. Unlike some other rentals, this house is stocked well w all accessories you need. We played games, had a fire next to the lake and explored the area which is charming. Bev was great to work with on details and access. Highly recommend this home.

Great location, spacious yet cozy home. Bev did everything to make our Christmas stay festive and memorable (including sending snow on Christmas Day). Kitchen well supplied and conveniently laid out. Paradise on the Lake
Our family was blown away by this treasure on the lake. Everything was perfect. I will start by saying this is the cleanest property we have ever stayed. Having a large area to park cars was an additional bonus.
When you pull up, the first thing you see is a quaint cottage but as soon as you walk in, you're greeted with a spacious home. The views of the lake are amazing. The walkout basement doubles as second living room (and sleeping area), giving our family room to spread out.
The checkin and checkout process was easy and the host was fantastic to work with throughout our stay. We look forward to returning.

Amazing Lake House
My husband, father-in-law and I stayed here for a few nights in November. We wanted a short getaway where we could isolate and stay safe from the Covid spread. We are so glad we came across this place. We were able to fix all of our meals there because the kitchen was really nice and so was the gas grill. There was a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor which was perfect for my father-in-law because he has a hard time with steps. There were two nice bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There is a nice living room on the main level and another living area and kitchen in the basement. The lake views from the main floor are amazing. There is a really nice patio off the basement level that have amazing views as well. There is a nice walkway down to the lake where there is a fire pit. Bev was very pleasant to talk to gave us lots of great tips. We all had a wonderful time and hope to go back again soon!

Wonderful stay!
We absolutely loved this property and location. The lake view from the living room/breakfast table were incredible. We brought our boat and the access to the water was awesome. We especially enjoyed the firepit right at the water's edge while we fished well into the evening. Communication with Bev was terrific and she responded quickly to any questions we had.

Awesome experience!
We had an awesome time. Beautiful home, lake views, neighborhood, amenities, Bev was great to deal with! It is as the listing displays. Our only issue was the steep stairs inside down to lower level and the steep and uneven stairs outside going to the water level. My mom went with us and couldn't utilize those stairs. It limited what we could do because we didn't want to leave her out. Other than that, we had an awesome time!!

A wonderful stay!
The lake home was beautiful. It was loved by young and old alike. The kids loved swimming, snorkeling, and looking for shells. The adults liked the ample seating down by the water with options of sitting in the shade and in the sun. The back patio was also a favorite spot to enjoy the lake breezes and shade. The kids loved playing the wii, board games and putting together a few puzzles. Lake views from the main room were beautiful and serene. All the decorations and amenities were so very nice! We had a wonderful visit. Highly recommend.
