The hostel has clean room, with comfortable bed (and you have also the chance to choose room on gender basis, which is fine for those who travel alone).
The shower are big considering that it is an hostel and they are clean on daily basis.
There is a big kitchen with a commod room and several table where you have the chance to have lunch or dinner.
All the people there have been really nice to me. I really enjoy my stay there!

I have stayed in various hostels in Scandinavia. This was the best. The rooms were so cosy and clean bed linen. Bathrooms were soo clean and fresh. Kitchen was huge with all sorts of cooking facility. Location was soo good, that everything was in walking distance. Staff was really helpfull. Each room even had lockers, study table and stool. Apt for business and study visits.

Good hostel with all facilities you need, big kitchen and clean areas. The location in the center of Uppsala is very good and the staff is friendly. It was no problem to check in earlier and pick up my stuff after the check out time.

Good Location
Sound from the street outside disturbed sleeping, and bed is very poor because it sounds everytime when I move.

I could not sleep well, because a man was watching movies on his phone. That was a horrible night.

Please note that the ONLY advantage is the location, just some blocks from Uppsala central station but I would highly recommend you to avoid this place, is expensive if you consider what you get, an old dusty hostal, smelly toilets and showers and besides that they also RENT you the bed covers, something that is not mention in the description. On top of that the people in the reception (hopefully not the owners) are very rude and it seems their only job is to take more money from you. Please avoid this at any cost! If you are a student and coming in a group I recommend you to use instead your mecenat card discount. We rented a room for 3 at this hostal and ended up paying 875 SEK, next day we stayed at Scandic in a room for 3 and only payed 750 SEK with mecenat discount and we got breakfast buffet and the high Scandic quality.
Everything is disappointing in this place, we couldn't even use the showers they were smelly as the toilets. Everything is in a very bad condition.

the hostel has an amazing location. the staff were very nice and friendly. also, the facilities were great! the kitchen was well equipped. eventually I moved from a dorm to an individual room and it has its own tv and was good.
the vibe of the hostel was really weird. some older people are living there apparently.
but if there is one bad thing would be the cleaning. the cleaning is done only when checking out (unless you pay for extra cleaning).
one night in my individual room I saw a giant spider crawling up the wall. but what got me was that in my last night i got the surprise of bedbugs in my bed. since we are the ones that put on and take out the sheets, I guess the cleaning around the bed and the mattress are not so good.

The hotel location is brilliant, as one can easily maneuver in the city center. The staff at the reception was exceptional. I would recommend him for a pay rise. The hotel price for one night was also fair.
The hotel had no flip-flops for use in the bathroom, which might inconvenience someone staying who is new to the city. The TV channels were also fully Swedish hence unsuitable for non-natives. They should also consider breakfast.
