It was in a great location so central to everything.
At times you could hear some noise from street or other rooms.

Great location, staff is very friendly, we actually booked an extra night. It's a bit old, but has lot of character and it is clean. Beds are comfy.
Not much really.

The location, close to everything. The decoration with paintings everywhere. The room was big enough and the bed was comfortable. Direct connection to the restaurant.
There were some noise and smells from the bar below from time to time. The toilet paper was not refilled. It was expensive, although in line with the prices of the town.

Location to the beach front and bay was excellent. The walking paths were in great condition especially when travelling with elderly parents.
Would have been wonderful to have a kettle in the room for an elderly parent to make a cup of tea in Their room. Great location to art galleries.

It's our favorite hotel in atmospheric collioure. It's a romantic hotel, very cosy and arty. The dinner was delicious and the breakfast was good and served in the bar.
This time our room was a little small and dark and the bathroom not so clean
. Other times we stayed in rooms with a balcony overlooking the castle.

The hotel is ideally situated centrally, and is charming in character.
If you love Collioure you will love the hotel.
Art is everywhere. Go and see all the sights in the town and walk round the market on Sunday.
The food in any of the restaurants is wonderful too.
The car park was a little way away, but it is not possible to park in the small streets of the hotel, so I can understand why.

Very comfortable and characterful hotel in a great location.
We arrived late, but the management made arrangements to leave our key at the bar which worked well. Easy walking distance to bus or train.

The lady at the front desk was MOST helpful when I lost my credit card. I really appreciated her attentiveness and sympathy. The atmosphere is superb! The view from our 3rd floor room was spectacular. Very very clean room and bathroom. Breakfast staff was lovely and fun. Excellent bedding and firm mattress.
The pillows were not good - quite lumpy. The breakfast was "just OK." The bar was extremely noisy on Sunday evening - lots of shouting guys.
We asked to be seated in the dining room for dinner. And although we saw only 4 tables occupied there the entire evening, we were denied - which was surprising + disappointing to us as guests of the house.

Location
Rude personal, very short and cosy beds

Atmosphere
Right in the most picturesque part of the center
No discount for a bit sloppy cleaning

Quiet and cozy location. The room was clean and tidy
I did not like their breakfast. It would be great if they added some cheese and honey to their breakfast menu

Great collection of paintings - in the bedrooms, in the corridors, on the staircases, in the bar. Like visiting an art gallery!

Fabulous view of the castle out the full length windows. Can leave the windows open and hear the birds (or use the aircon). Absolutely in the centre and just metres from various restaurants in the old town. The whole hotel is adorned on every wall with original paintings which are very colourful and makes it a huge improvement on the usual bland hotel decor. So a little bit old but with heaps of character. Very welcoming and helpful guy on reception, great attitude. Has a good lift.
Shower is over the bath, my preference is for a flat shower. Rooms are a little tired and need a few repairs but with that view, who cares?

The front desk service provided by Fredique was outstanding. He was so helpful and cheerful. He made us feel welcome and valued, and that was really a highlight of our stay.
This is the second time that we have stayed at the hotel, and the breakfast service was horrendous both times. We were the first ones at breakfast, yet we waited nearly one hour for service, before we left in disgust. The waitress was totally disinterested, and said that they had many guests to serve, as well as a hiking group. Well, we were also a hiking group! And, we had to book in advance, so the establishment was well aware that there would be many people that morning. As there were no cooked breakfasts, this hotel could simply hire more staff, or have the staff arrive earlier to prepare the standard croissant fare. There is no excuse for this lack of good organisation, and the waitress with whom we finally cancelled was quite rude and made it clear that she had no interest in the fact that we were leaving due to a total lack of service. We would advise others to walk around the corner to the seafront, where the exact same breakfast costs one euro less, and it was served promptly and with a smile.

Great location
Loud music from a bar on the Saturday night until midnight. Quite audible on upper floors even with shutters/windows closed

Clean sheets and helpful nice staff.
run down building. Tight room.
It was too hot. No AC ! couldn’t open window because of noise from the bar until 1AM. When we did open window to keep from suffocating, mosquitos bothered us the rest of the night.

The Location and the paintings

The salon style hanging of the large collection of paintings gives the hotel, bar and restaurant a great deal of charm and makes for an interesting and very enjoyable ambience.
The location is excellent and we enjoyed exploring Collioure very much. It is a very pretty town with lots of interesting things to see within a small distance.
We had a very good meal in the restaurant and would recommend it.
They also looked after our luggage after check out so we could continue exploring the town.
The breakfast was good and very generous but the coffee could have better - but really nothing to complain about really!

Great location, a stones throw from the beach and old town, with a view of the sea and castle from our small balcony. Lovely authentic, traditional atmosphere and a good, fresh, simple French breakfast.
Bathroom had a sliding door with no handle so was a bit tricky to get in and out.
