Great breakfast. Location central to reach Pallas, Olos, Muonio. Ski and snowshoes to rent. Great tips to book activities. And the wood heated sauna (to be booked) with a icehole in the lake is just an amazing experience. Lake just beside (skiing, walking to find the right spot for nothern light viewing).
Hosts are very direct in their communication, it may appear rough on on side and very kind on the other side. But are people with a great heart :-). Be aware you may have to pay some extra for ski's and snowshoes if your not part of an organized tour.

nice location
On arrival we were approached by arrogant and rude man from the reception. For no reason shouting on us, very unfriendly checkin process.

Really nice place, beautiful and the house was big, cozy and warm, with nice sauna! We also rent 1 hour of sauna, outside near the lake. The breakfast were very good, with many options, and people there was very nice.

The property is 400m from a bus stop on the Rovaniemie - Muonio route, which makes it a convenient property to stay at, but remote enough for enjoyment of peace and quiet. The proximity to the bus route also means that it is very convenient to travel to Muonio to buy extra food if you prefer to cook yourselves, although the resort has a restaurant too if you're not feeling up for a MasterChef challenge. The property we stayed at included a sauna and so it was very relaxing, and allowed us some amazing views of the Northern Lights.
PLEASE NOTE (putting this here as it is not a negative of the resort, and I only want to leave this as a reminder so guests in winter can be prepared): It is not easy pushing luggage on icy roads, even if it is only 400m. Also please note that if you want to see the Northern Lights, they will not appear as green to the naked eye as in photographs.
There is not much that we did not like, although we noticed that the shower did not seem to be able to get hot, and the water was only warm, but the sauna means you can warm up if the hot shower was not good enough.

Breakfast was really good quality and much more variety than expected in a smaller place like this.
Sauna by the lake was cosy and relaxing and definitely worth the price.
Was planning to have dinner on site, but restaurant was not open. Fortunately we checked this beforehand.

the cottage was larger than expected so that was a nice surprise. there was lots of space to feel comfortable and on vacation. the breakfast was nice each morning. the water and nature nearby was lovely. the helpful staff.
the upstairs room was a bit hot, there was no fan. we were there when lots of biting flies were out so we couldn't really use our terrace.

I arrived late, the key was on the lock. That was about the only good thing about my host.
Housekeeping: I slept in the main bedroom double bed, and they had only given me a single bed undersheet. It was unhygienic to sleep on a double bed with only one single sheet, The freezer compartment in the fridge had somebioy's vegetables in left in there. The dishwasher machine was not undone. Toilet had only one roll of the cheapest toilet tissue.
The owner of the property is a peeping Tom (women beware). I was travelling alone and he came to stare through my window while I was changing, and wearing my bra. I am considering contacting the police. He also harassed me about the payment of the stay well before check out time.: it states on the 'welcoming' book that the check out is at noon, 12 pm. By 11.30 he had called my mobile while I was in the shower, and then came to peep through the windows even that he clearly saw my car was still parked at the front.. When I called him back, I did tell him that Booking.com took all my credit card details as my stay was non refundable, so why he kept harassing me. He made me very upset with his appalling behavior he did not relent even that I told him I had 10 hour drive ahead of me, and that I am a cancer patient on the mend.
The surroundings of the property were messy and the property had unkempt look. Hardly any lake view, just ugly old houses and cottages. For 107 euros a night a total rip off. Please avoid.

The house was in very good repair, and really spacious! For the first morning the breakfast was delivered to the fridge (as the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast at that morning), and here was abundance of food (we probably had two additional small meals from the breakfast stuff).
The breakfast in the restaurant was also excellent. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.
There is well priced ski and snowshoe rental at the location (suitable really only if you don't need any advice or help, though)
Unfortunately the restaurant was only open for breakfast, due to Covid pandemic.
