Desayuno en la piscina

Un muy buen lugar donde hospedarse. A tener en cuenta; 1) es caro pero no hay ofertas más asequibles alrededor; 2) había una habitación con dos camas incomodísimas de la que tuvimos que pedir cambio porque parecía una cama de faquir (no hubo problema con el cambio porque tenían disponibilidad de habitaciones); 3) el desayuno es muy bueno y tiene piscina (pequeña).

Se deberían cambiar las camas más antiguas por otras de más cómodas. Es caro para tener que dormir en eso.

atmospheric hotel in central location

charming old colonial house with lots of atmosphere. Fairly good breakfast. beautiful plunge pool in central courtyard. large friendly cat! helpful staff. lots of books to borrow from a small library.

Superb

Good central location, old world charm, very comfortable bed and good breakfasts. Nice staff and extremely clean. Nice outdoor areas to sit. We went back to stay a night after a trip (and before our return fllight) because it so good.

Not recommended for a good night's sleep

Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice little courtyard, central location, beautiful building.

The mattress of double bed in the family is hard as a rock. The pillows were also uncomfortable and the duvet has seen better days. They really need an update! When other guests arrive at the hotel you can hear every noise they make.

Well located accommodation but disappointed with service and quality accommodation.

The breakfast ladies who sorted us out with an early breakfast at 7am. The room was well nicely decorated and comfortable bed, although slightly dark and being ground floor couldn’t open shutters for light. The location was close to the centre of town and a nicely refurbished building

Receptionist was not always helpful clear. Said she would book us a 7.15am taxi for our 8.25 flight which didn’t arrive when we left at 7.15 and waited until 7.25. We ended up finding our own taxi. The street was very noisy and the room, even though hot, we didn’t feel comfortable opening the shutters given the people outside on the street as we were ground floor room. The safe was out of order. Guests either checked in or out at 4am which meant we were awakened by people banging through the lobby for twenty minutes talking which disrupted our night and coupled with the dogs barking outside meant our sleep was frequently broken. We were told breakfast started at 7am which we thought would work for our 7.15am departure but breakfast did not start until 7.30am.

Great accomodations and wonderfull hosts.

The host couple is really nice and accommodating. They organised us a tailored tour on the spot when we arrived. They prepared us a breakfast to take away as we left early the next morning and finally they let us paid after several days when we returned to Mindelo as we had no cash with us when we slept there.

Beautiful old house

The hotel is very well located. It is a beautiful old building. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was super good.

The room was very nice, but not super private. Sounds travel in this house and that was a bit of shame when many guests had to leave early in the morning to catch the ferry.

Nice and clean rooms, although rather small, especially the bathrooms. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Very good breakfast! Location in the center of Mindelo perfect for exploring the nice little town with all its music restaurant s and bars.
