Self catering.
Too far away from carpark for carrying luggage, & grass was recently cut & grass cuttings everywhere.
The seating area needs updating, very low & uncomfortable.
Bedroom OK & kitchen OK.
Shower needs addressing , a deep clean & door came off & my husband needed to put it back on the runners. I think more cleaning around the runners would have stopped helped it run smoother. Perhaps investigate the cleaning. Plus flooring needs updating.

Comfortable and had everything we needed. Good dog walks nearby.
Nothing really

Good value for money. Great location for day trips. This particular resort ( main hotel/reception area) is a bit dated but this did not affect our enjoyment as the kids loved the outdoor play area, the forest, pool and Battle Blasters. 20 minute drive to Westward Ho which is amazing. Great beach for walking , rock pooling and crabbing. Fun arcades for the kids and mini golf. Bonus…weather treated us well.
Evening entertainment was a little disappointing.

great location and perfect for what we needed
no negatives

the kitchen and bathroom were good
it wasn't very cozy the decore was yuk the sofa was a small foam thing that wasn't meant for people with bad backs too small to really relax on and grubby, not inviting the bed sizes were small there was an effort for a bed board but that took away mattress space in an already very small room making the bed too short to sleep on.
just didn't feel we could sit and relax with a weird damp smell just disappointed in our stay the pictures dont show how small it actually is

Nice, cosy, clean, lots of messages from the owner, good value for money, we had a great time and will definitely recommend it.
Everything was fine

Easy check in / check out, location, free parking, bed was comfy enough
No WiFi, shower needed to be much stronger, furniture and appliances were a bit dated

Perfect base for exploring. The South West Coastal path runs through the site, so the dog and I had a lovely run to Clovelly and the whole family had an enjoyable (but very steep!) walk to the beach. Lots to do in the surrounding area. We chose this accommodation because it is close the The Milky Way Adventure park, which our children love.
The Chalet was clean and warm with plenty of cutlery and pans etc, great value for money. Right next to the park, pool and very close to the entertainment, but not noisy.
The Parkdean onsite ammenities aren't big enough to cater for all guests. We didn't feel the entertainment pass was worth the money (soft play shut, out door pool not open until May and the indoor pool is tiny). We had to pay £48 as a family for 2 days use! This has no reflection on the owner of the chalet though and won't put us off staying again. We'll just visit other local attractions and find a pool nearby.

It’s situation on the hillside overlooking the sea was amazing. Inside was just what we needed - all kitchen equipment provided - and particularly impressively sharp knives! Maybe an odd thing to mention but there was attention to detail. The heating and instructions on heating from Mike were comprehensive and easy to follow. The bedding and beds were comfortable and the cleaning products were included. We visited in February - out of the rest of the countries half term so I can’t comment on the resort. We were right next to the adventure playground and the basketball court that we had a great time with. if the weather better we would have ventured into the woods attached. We will definitely be back! Thank you Mike for your attentiveness and care.
Nothing - also meant to say above that it was amazing value for money.

Really disappointed with accommodation, on arrival we found chalet not in any standards of cleaning, we wanted to cancel the stay straight away but our son (6yo) was really upset and refused to leave as this supposed to but his summer holidays (9 days ) so I cleaned myself as i had no trust in their cleaner. Smell of damp Really difficult to bare ( even after putting heating on )we had to leave earlier that expected as we found rodent running around a chalet and mould started to appear on a wall in main bedroom ( 3 days earlier than expected). When I was cleaning the chalet on day we were leaving I moved the beds in small bedroom to pick up my son toy i found incredible amount of dirt, dust and used tissues!!! Under the bed, this should not be acceptable specially when we are leaving with a deadly virus around us. When contacted the owner re rodent and mould was told that I am trying to get a free holidays when asked for partial refund for days I left earlier. We were offered a £50 as a refund but under a condition of not leaving a bad review, Not a pleasant person to deal with at all.

Location was great 👍 lovely little chalet.
Could do with a little updating.
3.5
Location to park and fun parks
On site facilities inaccessible such as swimming pool and entertainment. Was fully booked on arrival after being told could book two days in advance. Wasn’t told of change of ownership whilst saying and neither owner replied to my message . The entertainment facilities are too small to cater for the amount of accommodation it holds
