Rustic, but so awesome!

My partner and I had such a relaxing getaway here. It’s so quiet, peaceful, lots of native birds, wallabies, and beautiful night sky full of stars. Sunset from their large pond is beautiful. Corner spa was well used and the breakfast supplies were awesome. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and mini putt putt. Rose & Paul are super friendly, gave us a whole pack of Panadol one night my partner had a headache. Yes it’s rustic and older but that’s the charm of the place. All the back porches are private facing the bush. Clean, cozy, warm nights in front of the fireplace watching a DVD (there was lots to choose from) with a glass of local wine, total bliss!

Could do with a hand towel, that was the only thing missing. BYO shampoo & conditioner as it’s not supplied.

A bush cottage with some quicky recycled features in a really hand location.

The provisions for self-cater breakfast were handy and more than adequate; bacon and eggs, juice, coffee, cereals, bread spreads and milk. The location was very convenient to Lovedale and Pokolbin area.

First impressions when we arrived made us think we may have made a mistake booking this accommodation. The lounge chairs on the front verandah made it look very wanting. However, after entering the cottage these were soon forgotten. The steps were a bit difficult to navigate as there was no railings.

Exceptional

The sun shining bright and warm on the verander each day. Lots of wood for a warm cosy night. Magic spa was so relaxing. The cottage kitchen was well equipped. The dog was so beautiful. It was so close to everything. Excellent wine and food. It was so very peacefully quiet.

The beds were old and uncomftable . No support for your back. Also the lounges were not the best.

Bed was comfortable, cottage was clean and communication was good.

The breakfast was good and the location was good. The cottage was very clean. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. Liked the big verandah. Communication was good.

The cottage is nice and rambling but it needs some TLC and maintenance. There is general wear and tear and if nothing is done soon it is going to be more costly to fix. the couches inside and mainly outside just looked old and dusty. Just felt the cottage needed some fix ups to make it worth the money paid for the nights. Outside needed some tidying up just to neaten and it would have been lovely to have the dam look pretty. It looked neglected. So much potential here.

The location is very convenient to all places of Hunter Valley. The area is quiet and beautiful with plenty parking spaces. The property is clean, classic and stylish. Clear direction/communications from support team. Complementary breakfast with sufficient and clean kitchenwares. Very helpful and friendly support owner/staffs. One of my friend left their baby comfort blanket when we checked out. After contacting the property owner, they even managed to post the blanket to us free of charge.

The only improvement I could think of is to improve the reception/coverage of WiFi connection.

Superb

Location was great. Relaxing and comfortable cabin with a view onto the bush. Great fire and having food provided for breakfast was appreciated. Be prepared for a rustic experience as facilities are a little run down. I hope they can get some decent weather and income to get it back to it former glory. We loved our stay.

Cute cottages that are a great size for families. The surroundings need a little upkeep. The bathroom, kitchen and living areas were clean however the bedroom was dusty and had broken light fixtures

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay in the peaceful environment at the Lovedale cottage.

The breakfast package was terrific from the wide assortment of cereals, fresh milk, to the bacon and eggs fresh bread and orange juice. The location was fabulous. Very close to all the wineries, dessert bars, Bistro Molines and Hunter Valley Gardens. Historical towns like Morpeth, Maitland and Wolllombi were within an easy drive. The par 3 golf course was great fun and the mini golf course also provided fun and many laughs.

The television set could do with an upgrade. A bit small for the size of the room and picture took quite a while to colour up. An upgrade of the mini Golf course in the future is probably a worthwhile project.

Beautiful location, excellent value for money, fantastic hosts.

Absolutely stunning location, very private and quiet even though we were next to the swimming pool and the tennis court. Very nice to have breakfast included. Great to have firewood topped up every day.

Superb

The cottage we had was lovely, very old style furniture and decorating. We spent a lot of our time out the back on the verandah enjoying the peace and quiet. You could not see the other cottages around you and it felt very private. We loved the bush golf course even though I don't play it was fun. The indoor pool was great for a swim even though it wasn't hot. The owners were very nice. We enjoyed our whole time there and will go back.

The lounge inside was very low.
