Very friendly. We also got good recommendation of nice restaurant nearby.
Breakfast is basic.

beautiful setting and lovely attention to detail

We felt the check in time was far too late especially on a Sunday when there wasn't very much to do in the area.
It should be noted there is only on restaurant open in the evening on a Sunday

The location and facilities are amazing. A stones throw from lots of champagne houses and in the Grand Cru area.
Nothing

Lovely Champagne house with large, well furnished rooms and new bathrooms. The main delight was the happy service provided by Odile, from the moment we arrived (helping us reverse into the courtyard) to serving us some really good house champagne (included!) and calling us to say we’d left a scarf in our room. Breakfast was perfect. We’ll return.

Excellent accommodation in a small Champagne House. Free tasting as part of the stay. On site parking. Comfortable lounge. Good breakfast. Close to Epernay.
Ay has only two main restaurants- one of which was closed and other had been fully booked. Staff had told us of restaurants in advance and potential need to book. In the end we found small pizza place that was basic but with good food and service.

We received a very friendly welcome at this domaine situated in the heart of Aÿ. Our stay was very comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the champagne tasting on the evening of our arrival.

Nice Champagne testing! very good breakfast.
Do not understand why the hotel accept that other hotel customer come dressed in bathrobe to breakfast. Disturbing!!

In the middle of the village of Aÿ-Champagne you found this pleasant accommodation. Parking inside the yard behind locked gates. Very nice large room, bath and sink inside the room, a bit elevated. Shower cabin and toilet at the side.
The hostess offered tasting of 3 different champagne without charge.
Breakfast was very good and well assorted
Its a pity that there is only 4 rooms

The rules of the house set out on two A4 sheets left on the bed were phrased in a somewhat 'Germanic' tone including, for example 'Eating in your room is 'Strictly Forbidden'. Not a great welcome and, with respect to the hotel, I do not expect to pay nearly £170 a night for a room to be told I am supposedly not allowed to eat a snack, or indeed, more than a snack, should I choose to do so. '
I full appreciate that the 'workmanlike' industrial appearance of the small town of Ay is not in any way the responsibility of the Hotel, indeed, in comparison, the hotel is a bit of an oasis of charm; however not a town which justifies a repeat visit, unless of course, champagne is your obsession.
As far as dinner is concerned, the choice in Ay is limited (I believe two restaurants) but I would give Rotissirie Henry IV a miss; probably the blandest meal I have had in the whole of France.

Domain Champagne Sacret ist a little hidden gem in the famous Champagne region. The room was really super nice, and the staff is very accommodating. There is a nice entertainment room with full bar (and champagne), and it also serves as a breakfast room. It also has a nice Billiard table. You can sit outside on the large patio overlooking the courtyard.
We didn't like leaving...it was a crazy fun stay.

The roof was too law for me (1m80)
4.5
Quite place, large beed-room, excellent bath-room with shower very new.
The staff is attentif, available and efficient. The house court has place for the cars and the entrace door is closed at night.
I would have liked a second chair in the bed-roon in order to better range our dresses.
4.6
Very charmig room, attentive staff and great breakfast! Nice champagne tasting at arrival. Central situation in the Middletons oh Ay with walking distance to two good restaurants and only a very short drive to Epernay.
Nothing at all.

It was very comfortable, and had secure parking meaning we didn't worry about leaving things in the car. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was big. It was lovely having Clarins soap etc. Everyone was very friendly, and it was nice having access to the honesty bar. Breakfast was good.
The aircon was very noisy, so I couldn't sleep with it on. And unfortunately Ay has little to offer - one restaurant that was somewhat over-priced and that's it. It appears to be the same for so many French villages, even in a touristy place like Champagne, and so it doesn't encourage one to stay in the area. While I'd recommend Champagne Domaine Sacret, I wouldn't recommend bothering with the area: Champagne felt very over-rated.
