We really enjoyed our stay here - it was perfect for our needs with adults and elementary age kids. Very spacious. We loved the pool area and the fact that we could bring our 21 ft boat. I will book here again!

Overall this worked great for us. About 2 blocks from the gulf coast. Fishing access on an inlet behind the house and pool was great for us and kids. Out of the way for major island traffic but close enough to the coast to walk and enjoy it

Had a great time with the family for the two nights and three days we stayed. House was just as described and perfect for our family. The home was close to everything and we enjoyed our stay!

We loved the location of this property! The pool was great! Overall we had a great vacation. The property itself needs updating but we knew that from the other reviews. I would highly suggest getting a golf cart or at least a bike.

While we loved the pool and hot tub, this property could use some serious attention from its owners and managers. A few hours of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general cleanliness would go a long way. Not our first visit to AMI but this property’s condition isn’t for us.
8.0 / 10.0
This is an outstanding property! It lacks some quality kitchen “tools” “utensils” whatever you would call it. Was very difficult to cook! Needs better pots, pans, KNIVES for sure.
Other than that, loved it!

Let’s start with the good. The home itself has a beautiful layout with a fabulous expansive pool/hot tub area with lots of deck seating and pool toys. There is a gas grill for cooking and a large table and chairs for 6 person dining. There is also a full bath with a roomy shower, a second refrigerator and kitchen sink in the outdoor kitchen area next to the pool. The main kitchen is large and includes plenty of items to cook your favorite meals with a refrigerator, microwave, stove/oven and large kitchen sink. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a large dining room for inside meals. There are two large living areas that can accommodate a large group for watching TV, listening to music or just relaxing. The three bedrooms are plenty large and the beds are comfortable. The two inside full bathrooms are small but very functional. There are many TVs throughout the home and multiple streaming services are available. There are two garages, one full of all kinds of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach toys. The other has a nice washer dryer and still plenty of room to park your car inside. Overall the layout of this house is awesome.
Anna Maria Island is very walkable and this home does not disappoint for location. It is in a quiet residential area within 2 blocks of the beautiful sand beaches and 2 blocks of the concentration of fun shops and restaurants. The nearest grocery store (Publix) is just a short 4-5 minute drive away. Cool resta

The location of this home is wonderful. The home itself needs some work. The lanai area is fabulous! The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. Unfortunately, the home itself was not as great. The beds are very hard, the kitchen is not well appointed and the supplies that are there are subpar. The dining room table only accommodates 4 even though there are three bedrooms. There are plenty of beach chairs to use which was very nice.

We stayed at a property in Florida and it was noticeably unclean when we arrived as well as no AC. We were busy with a family wedding the first 24 hours of our stay and noticed it was very hot in house but gave the AC about 24 hours hoping it was slowly coming to temp. Finally had time to call the host (in this case Vacasa), but had to call 4 different times and ended up waiting over 24 hours to get someone to come out and get the AC going(it was hot out!) They did refund the cleaning fee as well as a few hundred dollars to compensate for the air-conditioning but that was after insistence on my part, not good customer service on their end. I still don’t feel adequately compensated- had no AC over half our stay, and cleanliness issues- but have given up with any more results through Vacasa property management. Also, I would add the property is generally in disrepair (that is not shown in photos) and needs a good amount of maintenance. I would love some compensation from VRBO and feel like I need to leave this very detailed review to warn other potential guests to this property. Let me know if there is anything you can offer beyond what Vacasa did( we got roughly $400 back for our stay)

The location, comfort, cleanliness & communication with Vacasa agents is always the best. We can't say enough great things about this home & the Vacasa people! We'll be back!

We had a great time with family and enjoyed the house and pool! Please be aware the inside bathrooms are very small, the outside shower is bigger but kinda inconvenient, my hubby is 6'5" and had to use it. Other than the age of the property, its nice and the pool area is great!

House was clean, on a quiet street, near restaurants and beach. The dock was great for our boat with easy access to the gulf. The kitchen lacked measuring cups, can opener and steak knives but we we able to pick those up at the store. The beds were comfortable and and the air conditioner cooled the home perfectly. The pool area could use a good pressure washing but the pool was maintained properly by the pool service. We enjoyed the pool and gas grill for cooking. The outside bathroom was wonderful for rinsing and washing off after a day at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to another vacation on AMI!

This was a nice home, very spacious. There is a need for a cleaning around the backyard outside of the patio. The patio needs to be pressure washed and swept as my son and I both stepped on tiny pieces of glass during our stay. The sliding glass doors are very hard to open and make it almost impossible to get shut before the 8 seconds alarm starts blaring. The boat dock is very nice and the AC works great! Beds could use new mattress as they are all very hard. We enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

We loved everything. The patio is spacious and comfortable. If your looking for an outdoor experience this is the house!

We stayed here over holidays to be near my parents' as we did not all fit at their place. It was a half a block away from them and 2 blocks from the beach. We mostly just slept there. The beds were great. The pool and hot tub were great. The child safety alarm on the sliding glass doors was VERY loud and not all the bypass buttons worked, so it became a slightly comedic part of our swim time. Someone came to fix the heat on the hot tub once, we also called about hooking up the ROKU for the television and that was fixed promptly. We never cooked or ate there, so no comments on the kitchen.

1. smaller bedroom with very uncomfortable mattress 2. loose table and chairs 3. the two light bulbs that give light where you cook (next to the kitchen extractor or stove) do not light 4. pool light bulbs, do not light

For the price to rent this house I am giving it three stars due to the cons. I would not rent this house again mainly due to the bathrooms
Pros
Great location, close to beach and on boat canal
Lots of space and room and plenty of parking
TVs in every room
Great entertaining kitchen
Plenty of beach chairs and toys
Hugh pool patio with a lot of seating
Cons
Cannot use boat lift although the boat was fine without it
Cannot use outdoor kitchen
Cannot use wine refrigerator
House is a good size but very outdated, furniture was old and dirty
Pool and pool area was unclean and needs pressure washed. Deck around pool needs repaired
Screen door was broken
Bathrooms are very small, not very good water pressure and needs updating
No grass in yard
The pool alarms were very annoying to deal with. I appreciate the safety Feature but if you are not having young children there there is no need to require them to be on
Plenty of pots and pans but bring your own knives

Our family loves this home! Very clean and well maintained. The openness of the entire home and backyard pool/spa area is amazing and I promise you'll feel so relaxed staying here. Just a short walk to the beach and local shops. The Vacasa staff are very nice and great to work with. We'd love to stay here again next year. Thanks for the great experience!

Our family of five adults stayed for four nights. One reason we booked was because this house is dog-friendly, but the two with the dog weren’t able to join us. The spacious, open, one story layout of this house was perfect for our needs. We spent a lot of time outside by the pool and canal dock. Even though there was a big hole up high in the lanai screen, no bugs found us. It’s a great location at the end of a quiet street with a short walk to the beach and Pine Ave. There is a house under construction next door, but we were not bothered by noise during our stay. The two inside bathrooms are tiny, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The kitchen has the most basic cookware but was missing some necessities such as a cutting board. Vacasa staff were friendly and responsive. We hope we can stay here again.

This home is set up great for small or large groups. Pool/hot tub area are great. Very conveniently located just a short walk to beach, restaurants, shops and the pier.

This home is an excellent location, close to beach access, dining, shopping, and canal front. Loved the location. The smart tv didn’t work at all; no Netflix. The lanai screen is torn. The pool was very worn and chipped. The house is very dated but was clean. The front master doesn’t have blinds- when some comes up you wake up. The bathroom fan makes a loud screeching sound and woke everyone up every morning. For the money we spent for a week I wouldn’t do it again.

Our family really enjoyed staying at Anna Maria’s Finest. The house met our needs and having a screened in pool and hot tub was perfect for night swimming. Location was good with a 7 minute stroll to the beach 1.5 blocks away and easy beach access at the end of Willow. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Vacasa check in and out was super easy and the local team was very responsive when we had an issue with the old grill on site not working and brought a replacement the next day. AMI was beautiful and we will definitely be back and would recommend the house and Vacasa for your stay!

Lovely home, spacious kitchen, and outside area for entertaining guests. There's a pull-out bed; however, there weren't any extra sheets for the bed, so you will need to bring your own. Other than that, my family and I enjoyed our stay very much. I will definitely stay here again.

Very Disappointing Experience
Cute place in a decent location. But in desperate need of maintenance. Bathroom fans squealed so loud that you couldn't turn the lights on without disturbing the whole house. Back doors have pool safety alarms, which wouldn't be a big deal if the back doors were working normally. They were so hard to open and close that the alarm goes off every time - and its loud. They also left no bedding for the fold out bed which we discovered at 11pm and had to drive to a store and buy our own. The worst part was we got no communication or response for many attempts to contact Vacasa. I've never actually left a bad review before in my life, but this was unacceptable.

Beautiful
We had an amazing time at this house. It was perfect for our group. The open floor plan and all one level was great with 2 toddlers. Pool area alarms made us feel safe. The pool and hot tub were magnificent. We spent a lot of time out there. The beach access was at the end of the street so it was easy and only about a 5 minute walk. Our kids are 2 and 3-1/2 and it was easy for them to do. The washer/dryer were a godsend with kids and the amount of clothes they go through on the daily. We appreciated all the pool toys and floats. The kids loved them. We grilled out every day and my husband had no complaints about the grill. All in all, it was a comfortable stay and we would absolutely return and stay here again.

Great time on Anna Maria Island
Great house! Very spacious and clean. My only issue was the hot water heater wasn’t working, so we had a cold shower, but they fixed it within hours of calling. Lastly, it says the pool heater doesn’t work when the outside temperature was under 65 degrees. The pool is one of the main reasons we wanted a house with a pool, but it was too cold to swim. The spa did get hot though, so to me it stands to reason they’re trying to reduce utility expenses from heating the large pool when it’s cold.

BEACH WEEKEND
The house was very nice and spacious. Plenty of towels, kitchen pots and pans and utensils. The boat dock was an added bonus. One of the main reasons we rented this particular house was the pool and hot tub spa. It was therefore, very disappointing that the hot tub was not functioning. We alerted maintenance, however it was not repaired before we checked out. We were actually informed that this was not the first complaint about the hot tub spa, yet the matter has not been resolved. We were still charged full price and no offer of any rebate/money back has even been offered. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay.
