So chilled and relaxing

Annette was super helpful and made us feel so very welcome, I felt as if we were staying with people we knew!!
4.6
Wonderful place and reception.

Nice quiet property, ideal after spending several nights in hotels.
We struggled to find the property. Would be handy to be given exact directions in initial email, or a sign put out at the gate to more easily identify it.

Good quality coffee, eggs, and home baked goods like bread and cake left as well as fresh Orange Juice, fruit and milk. Quiet and safe gated residence located attached to the owner's family home. Lovely welcoming host and very relaxed atmosphere.
Very poor WiFi only barely available upstairs.. Need a black out blind in the bedroom upstairs (has 3 of 4 windows covered in black out blinds but 4th window streams light into the bedroom from sunrise.) Also would have appreciated a microwave as, being a solo traveller, ready meals are handy

Wonderful place, wonderful people

No signing to this location. We stopped and asked a local and he said he had lived there for 30 years and never heard of it.
Breakfast is not included!!! Don't be fooled. Its self catering. No breakfast will be made for you. False advertising.

Beautifully renovated sweet little cottage, lovely and peaceful. Hospitable hosts, comfortable bed, delightful little en'suite.
Nothing to dislike.

Annette is a lovely and very caring host. She looked after us all brilliantly and was super flexible and accommodating when we had some last minute changes in our overall party numbers. The fridge was well stocked for breakfast and there was even a big fruit bowl, cake and bread waiting for us when we arrived. When my fiancé unexpectedly needed a reliable Internet connection to complete some work that came up, Annette went above and beyond to make sure he had Internet access, and even treated him to coffee and cake during a break. Fantastic!
The WiFi in the smaller accommodation isn't great, and phone reception in the area isn't the best either... so if you are looking for a true phone detox retreat, this will definitely help you disconnect and switch off; if not, this is something to be aware of.

Annette kindly drove us to the wedding venue as it was way farther than we thought. Brown soda bread was very nice.
The houses were extremely cold at night. Dogs barked loudly through the night waking us constantly. Of a party of 7 booked for 2 nights I was the only guest who stayed the 2nd night.
The "pull out bed" was a leather sofa seat hard cold & thin not suitable for sleeping on. This is absolutely NOT worth the cost...NO WAY

Dogs barked loudly intermittently throughout the night..

only thing was spiral stairs

Annette and her husband arw really great. They were so attentive and friendly. We had a great stay there :-)
Of course it is not a 5-stars-luxury hotel. But everything that they are describing and promising will be fulfilled for 100%
If you are looking for a beautiful old farmhouse with great host ... then you are 100% right there!

Bed a bit small for us but comfortable

Annette was incredibly generous, baked cake and bread on arrival

Spacious flat, over 2 stories, in a lovely period property. Good facilities for self catering, with breakfast and home baking provided
Wifi was a bit flakey, but was acceptable considering the location

This was a complete house rented self catering but all we needed for breakfast was provided for us great service.
We should have stayed longer. We will be back.

Breakfast was ingredients for a fry, cereal, fruit and yogurt and homemade brown bread. there was also butter and condiments and we helped ourselves. There was no TV in the sitting room but we had a radio and some board games. We were able to relax and chat for the evening
nothing. its a 5 min walk to the nearest village with a local shop, pub and coffee shop

As an appartment with kitchen, it is a good base camp to discover south-west Ireland. Hosts were helpfull and everything needed was provided in the appartment. Biggest plus was Mac, the dog, who was always ready to be petted and rubbed :)
No complaints

Very nice quiet place.
We were offered nice lemon cakes. There are two lovely and friendly dogs who always happy to improve your mood.
rocking chair
There is everything to play with kids, but not much space (territory) to walk.

We absolutely loved this place from the beginning. Easy to access from Dublin, even without a car (by bus), has the greatness of being in the middle of nowhere, country side + having a Centra with anything you might need, pub and takeaway, 10 min walking distance.
Annette received and welcomed us when we arrived. She is extremely attentive and helpful. She made sure we had everything we needed and much more available at the holiday house.
The place was spotless, cute, cozy and warm! At night you can barely hear a thing, which was exactly what we were looking for to rest from the noise of the city.
Annette taught us how appliances worked so that we could keep the place warm and have hot water. She left us food for breakfast, and even went steps further with freshly baked bread and cake, which we must say were AMAZING! I wish I had more time to eat all of it!
The room was upstairs. It was quite big, had plenty natural light and a lot of storage for luggage. The bathroom was very clean and had a big window to vent humidity after showers. The bed was very nice and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be absolutely coming back again and recommend this place 100%!
