Terrible Host

Location is good and essential kitchenware were available.

The owner, who lives right to your door is an old lady who clearly doesn't understand some basic concepts when you rent out your apartment. 1st. It harassed us for several days to close exterior blinds of the apartment because storms could come.. (whatever that means because anyway we always kept windows closed given the apartment is located in ground floor), probably she didn't want to have extra work to clean the windows glasses. One day we had left one of the exterior blinds open and she approached us screaming why we had forgotten to close it ?? 2nd. She entered into our apartment without my notice, and I find this totally Unacceptable as it breaches my privacy. 3rd. Another day I was having lunch outside apartment yard with my brother who was passing by in Krk that day (for few hours) and she came upset why I had invited him, disturbing our time and saying she would call the police because this is not permitted?? To keep it short, if you want to stay in this apartment you have to count you have a weird old lady who thinks is hosting you free of charge and always checks you in and out, which for me was a Big privacy issue and absolutely a No-Go behaviour. About apartment: bathroom stinks most of the time, mattress is very uncomfortable and already quite old and used

Had a great week!

Apartment Franolic is a nice apartment, close to the city center of Krk. In the apartment you'll have everything you need, it is very spacious. Inside the fridge there was even a bottle of water, some juice and a beer for us. Outside there is a terrace which you can use, including space where you can dry your (bathing)clothes and towels. The beaches are at a walking distance. We preferred Koralj beach, which is a slightly longer walk (23 minutes) but has nicer spots to sit and has trees to protect you from the sun. The host is very nice and helped us if we needed something. If you stay at this apartment, make sure you visit a little olive oil and wine shop, just around the corner. Everything is made by the family and they can tell you all about it, en let you taste the wine and olive oil.

Perfect hokiday

The owner was lovely, very welcoming and helpful. There are some amazing restaurants nearby and the location was perfect. A very clean and well looked after apartment, perfect for a couple. Thanks for a lovely stay!
