Lovely relaxing short break in the dales.
Cosy, but modernised and clean, nice wood-burner, spacious lounge. Great location in village centre. Excellent walking from the front door.

Comfortable. Convenient for exploring the area.
Ensuit is an exaggeration to a bathroom upstairs shared by 3 bedrooms. Shower was quite tight to get into as my friend is a bit larger. Otherwist couldn't fault

Really lovely owners. Clean property with some amazing views and walks from the door.
Friendly owners described how to access the cottage and confirmed we could access the property earlier than the property details had described. The cottage was in a good location for the village of Reeth and stunning scenery was visible from some of the windows. The owners had been in to the cottage to put the heating on the day of arrival which was very kind and thoughtful of them. The cottage was clean and well presented. Once the cottage had warmed through, the upstairs was warm and cosy. The bedrooms were spacious and the brushed cotton bedding helped to support the cosy feel.
The living area was spacious but felt quite chilly, not just on the day of arrival but also across the weekend. (This is something we have found is common with renting properties during the winter months. The heating takes time to warm through the fabric of the property). The log burner seemed inefficient, perhaps because the seal was missing from around the door. The seating was more suitable for 5 people and the lounge area would benefit from having another armchair or sofa to allow for a more relaxed atmosphere for the member of our party who had to sit on a dining chair. We appreciate that there must had been previous issues with visitors putting wipes down the toilets but did not appreciate the very strongly worded warning regarding the charge being deducted from our card if a blockage occurred, especially as we don't use wipes and wouldn't dream of flushing them if we did!

Exceptional
Good location, plenty of room for 6 of us for a long winter family weekend- property was clean and warm - just what we wanted. Contact with owner was good and everything was as described.
Nothing worth mentioning.
