Expected basic but this was basic and rotten

The room was dirty and not suitable to stay in. The chair is as stained, the toilet still had other peoples mess In. It was noisy. Save your money and go else where! We didn’t even stay because of the state of the room and they wouldn’t refund it.

The location, that is the only reason to book there. The sheets were clean

Very narrow and complex stairs, tiny room (we had to keep our luggage in the bathroom), mold all over the bathroom.

the room given was not the room chosen at the booking stage. I booked twin beds and was given a room with a set of bunk beds in. no ladder for the bunk beds and the room was so small, hard to change clothes etc due to space.

Dirty, Mouldy room with hair everywhere, the pictures are really different from reality.

The man at the reception was really rude. The stairs are so narrow and smells, we ended up on the 4th floor and had to leave our suitcase at the reception because it was impossible to carry them, the stairs are steep and narrow. The room was smelly, the windows are so dirty and rusty and cannot be opened. The shower is black and mouldy, it has hair all over and looks like it has not been cleaned in months, it’s not worth the price at all.

close to the central station and other attractions within the city center

you can hear a lot if noise from the streets and other rooms. many many narrow staircases to take if u end up on the 4th floor

Location was good and the couple staff we met was friendly

The room was full of mold around the windows, the bathroom and the curtains .. with the beds we would of been better of sleeping on the floor extremely uncomfortable... Considering it was ment to be a non smoking room there was cigarette butts all out on the window.

Disappointing

The bed was good.

Very small room and very old hotel. We booked a room there because of the location. If you are planning to stay in Amsterdam for 1 night, the hotel is ok. I think too expensive for the conditions. Also we paid an extra fee - "turism fee", for this kind of hotels I think is too much.

Deplorable hotel with horrendous noise pollution & unbearable facilities.

The central location was the only positive experience I had during my stay. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

WORST hotel experience! I would strongly advise anyone against staying here! The washrooms facilities we're terrible, the shower was covered in mould & the sink in the hotel room leaked every time it was used. The beds were uncomfortable, but the main issue that made this stay such a nightmare was the fact that the hotel room window didn't lock correctly. This is a massive issue as the hotel is located on the main road leading up to the central train station. Therefore the noise pollution made it impossible to get any rest. A truly deplorable experience!

room was like a prison cell, dirty, only 2 working plug sockets, noisy, itchy, uncomfortable.. could hear all guests at all hours… room did not look like the website.
