staff were very helpful with info re little tourist train and the chocolate tour. you need to book the chocolate tour especially if it needs to be in English. only 11:30am or 3:30 pm. we had to settle for Italian as this wasn’t explained !!
there are steps to climb. difficult with heavy luggage.

The property itself is excellent and the position is great, with fabulous views of Monica from the terrace.
The parking and the steps up to the property with the steep climb, but that is the price you pay to stay in such a magnificent location.

Location in the center behind chocolate museum, mix of old architecture and modern design, beautiful views from the roof terrace, nice breakfast and helpful staff
Was a bit cold and room is big and spacious, so hard to get warm but worth a stay

Great view from terrace, friendly atmosphere and great staff, thanks Francesca & Roberto.

The room was large and comfortable, and the breakfast had variety.
The property itself was fine…. the walk up the road was challenging, but manageable, in the rain. However, the entire city has many hills so it goes with the territory.

Great location, super roof terrace with a view.
There is only one way to the hotel without stairs, would be good to know this before arrival.

Clean and friendly staff
The walk from the main road.

Staff is great and very informative. Breakfast is substantial and includes Modican hot chocolate and very good cappuccino etc. They clean the room according to your schedule.
The location is extremely difficult for anyone elderly or with a disability. The only way to get the luggage up there is by walking up a very steep incline. Halfway up we thought we were going to die. You can use a multi level staircase to go up and down but that doesn't work for luggage and is also quite a hike. Parking is nearly impossible and complicated. It's a shame that, except for the wine room, they removed all signs that it is a period building. Amenities listed, like massages, nail salon etc. are non existent.

Nice hotel. Great breakfast with good quality preselected menu. Very nice staff.
Wifi needed constant signing in. Welcome email said to use their directions, not Google Map, but I neglected to request so walked more than I needed. Providing them automatically would be nice. My city view was blocked by the next building.

Spacious and clean room in the historical center. Fine breakfast. Parking can also be done almost in front of the hotel next to the blue lines if not too busy.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was good. Location was wonderful. The morning staff (man) was a Thursday did us a great favor when we were in a jam. Hard to travel in your 70’s. Great place!

Everything except parking was very nice: room, personnel, amenities
No parking options, you have to leave a car down in the town

The hotel is beautiful and clean! It has a prime location. A few metres away from the main road. The terrace overlooks Modica. The room is spacious and beautiful and very soundproof. The breakfast was delicious and well arranged (used a checklist to tick what we preferred). We were able to store our bicycles inside.
The wifi didn't work well. The pillows were uncomfortable.

The location is perfect, very central. Staff are very accommodating. The family room suite was big and spacious, lovely for families with small children.

internet wifi is very good, nice big room, the breakfast jams and chocolate fantastic, helpful and nice staff, very central but still quiet and pleasant
The heating system isn't the best, a bit noisy and not very effective. A bit more variety for breakfast would be nice, although it was still good compared to the usual breakfast offers in Italian hotels. Not too many plugs available for your laptop.
