Resort & Golf course are neatly taken care of. A feel of retreat. Have a good getaway relax stay in the weekend
Staffs need to be more welcoming and respectful specially who are working in the Gold Course.
Breakfast buffet needs more diversity

Their service is good and fast. Love the environment-quite &comfortable, and I love the singing performance in their lounge.
The room is quite dirty, there have a lot of hair in the toilet (not mine), although they have cleaned the room. Spider web is around the corner and dusty floor as well, especially to the toilet area. And the bedsheet is not soft type, feel rough and scrathy. And my room does not have hair dryer.

The location is perfect, the surrounding area is good. The property has so much potential.
The hotel is lacking maintenance and focus on the details is declining for every visit over the past 10-15 years. We have been coming almost every year since the property was a Hyatt Hotel and we still hope to see the change, which this wonderful hotel deserves. Many staff we known for many years. They are nice and friendly, but some have lost the energy and focus on the guests. Feels like this is just another day to overcome and the guests are an inconvenience. Of course, there are exceptions, but they get fewer and fewer. It is supposed to be a hotel where you expect to be able to relax and have a quiet stay, but almost every morning the gardners start with noisy leaves blowers and grass cutters and mosquito fogging is done when you want to sit en enjoy the sundown. Feels like the focus is not on the guests, but on what is convenient for the staff.

It is like a resort in the city, with lush greenery and a nice pool. The Chinese restaurant TiChern serves wonderful food as well. Our room is very well kept and nice , and the bellboy who helped us is very friendly too. A good place for a staycation!
The bathtub in our room is a bit old, so it is peeling off. We requested 2 extra bottles of water and were told that it would be charged RM5 extra, which is quite high. The breakfast provided by Charcoal the restaurant tasted average.

Too quiet during weekdays.

Tranquil environment. Greenery. Lots of open spaces.
We were there for 4 nights in Dec 2023. Daily buffet breakfast had no butter every day. Only given upon request. Cheese platter, bread were not replenished. No dessert spoons at buffet counter. We have stayed here almost annually on holiday for the past few years. We noticed a big drop in service and food quality over the past few years. Not a 5 star service quality any more. Unlikely to stay here again.

Location and exclusivity
Seem run down. Need refurbishing . Example Fitness Ctr place in a confined room with no views to outdoor and the roof tiles the room i was staying found broken snd misplaced.
Stained sofas and seating place in the room.
Noisy surrounding coming from kitchen exhaust for those allocated to rooms nxt to the kitchen block
Staff not so attentive and not much activity to do.
Swimming pool and business ctr at The Club side shutdown.
The other pool need refurbishing.

It is nice and conveniently located. being near Citta Mall was very helpful.
I booked The Club for exclusivity but during my stay, there were children in the lounge. I wasn’t allowed to bring my children when they were smaller but there were guests who did. Why is that? It is unacceptable to bend your policy and be selective on who can or cannot bring children. I have stayed at The Club many times and was surprised to see children running around at the lounge.

I was at the Club house - such a lovely place, fantastic room and the staff were absolutely brilliant. The freeflow cocktails was an unexpected treat. The wifi was good
There was alot of confusion over our original room booking for 3108. We have to go back to reception 3 times. I needed to book another room but was told there was no vacancies but then booked a room no problem using booking.com. I thought the beer was expensive and we needed bigger glasses. The golf course was ridiculously expensive.

The resort itself is lovely. We had a few issues with the room with air conditioning not working, no remote etc but these were fixed as soon as reported. The staff at Charcoal were super friendly and also welcoming whenever we went for breakfast or an evening meal. The food was lovely!
Unfortunately there was nothing in the room about facilities at the resort eg laundry, restaurants, their hours and menus. Coming out of Covid I think a certain amount of tolerance should be given to these businesses so it was nothing that would stop me from staying there again.

Super location and very special setting on the lake. Nice room. Reasonably priced. Food was pretty good.
Service could have been more attentive. It wasnt bad, just not what I would expect for a 5* hotel. Theres lots of paint coming off the walls and ceilings on the outside of the hotel and this is quite noticable and takes away from the experience. Other relatively small things like quite a number of light bulbs being out. Nothing really major, just together takes a bit of sparkle off the experience and could easily be fixed!
