A beautiful old building in a lovely rural setting. Our room was modern and clean in a building outside the old chateau.
The interior of the château was a disappointment - poorly furnished and understaffed. The food in the restaurant was quite good but was a buffet rather than table service, on cold plates and very limited menu.

Picturesque hotel with good facilities. Relaxed vibe
with plenty to do. Great for families. Could have
stayed for longer would like to return with my family
Slightly tired in places. The all inclusive
situation was confusing and if you don’t have the
full all inclusive package buying on the day was
expensive. Found a great resultant off site though so
for me it wasn’t a problem.

We loved our stay here with our 2 teens, the grounds are lovely.
Plenty of activities.
The food is excellent and very good quality. The variety is good.
The restaurant decor is great and the outside terrace has lovely views.
Over the 5 days we stayed, we had lots of different dishes.
Staff were very helpful and you feel well looked after.
All inclusive drinks were great.
You can help yourself to soft drinks, alcohol or hot drinks..
The afternoon snack from 4-5pm is great and we loved the aperitif drink & nibbles in the courtyard before dinner.
Plenty of seating options including the courtyards & terrace.
Lots of sun loungers by the pool to choose from.
The castle itself is lovely, with nice lounges, games room & poker room.
We stayed during the week and it didn’t feel too busy, even for August.
We were sad to leave & hope to return!
Tire burst on the bike my teenage daughter was riding, causing her to fall on gravel & quite badly cut her knee.
Unfortunately happened on the first day & meant knee had to be covered with dressing and she couldn’t use the pool at all.
Possibly bikes could be better maintained.
The rooms were a little dated (we stayed in traditional farm room) but very adequate .
I believe you can pay more for a more modern room.
Rooms were quite warm but ceiling fan helped.
Outside pool cold but refreshing if it’s hot.
Not a criticism as we liked it being quieter but if you stay during the week, you may miss out on some of the organised activities & live music etc. However price is very reasonable.

The food was plentiful and amazing quality. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon drink with cake, aperitif with lovely snacks and dinner. All buffet self service and the best I have encountered on holiday. Baked Alaska! desserts to die for. Mains included monk fish steak, beefsteak, swordfish steak, trout, lamb, salmon, chicken with sauce the list goes on. Starters included fresh prawns in shell and langoustine. Fine local wines Prosecco and beer on tap. Indoor and outdoor pool lots of outdoor and indoor activities including games rooms karaoke room. Boating was fun and the driving range. The chateau itself was beautiful with a moat and the grounds and woodland walks impressive
Saturday was very busy as the Parisians visit for ‘Le weekend’ the outside pool was very crowded and there are no toilets near the pool. No air conditioning a fan was supplied but the room was very hot, it was a heatwave though!

Really liked the settings, the place is really beautiful. The facilities around where you can walk, relax, have some fun games etc, super good. Also loved the idea of doing the boat tour around the castle. Food was good too!
The pool could be heated as the water was quite cold. Also, as they receive a lot of families could think about doing a pool dedicated for kids.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent! We spent 4 nights, and ate every dinner there, which we hadn't expected! The grounds were beautiful, with plenty of activities had the weather been nicer. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was very comfortable. A peaceful place with ducks and nature.
Only the swimming pool was open - there were no spa facilities. It was a chilly August, so I wish the steam room had been open. And would have been nice if the indoor sitting rooms had been more cosy and warm, ie with candles. All the doors to outside left open to create draft (Covid measures I'm sure), but all the communal spaces in the old building were chilly to sit in.

Fantastic place! Very relaxing and good quality. The food was extremely good 😊.

Lovely pastoral setting. Great attention to comfort and details like the sunhats and bikes.
Dinner good but not excellent.

Buffet food was varied and of a high standard
Hotel can’t cope when full over a weekend. Outside pool - no sunbeds, no social distancing. Spa - completely booked with no access at all. Golf range - no balls available. Table tennis - battered and weathered.
The place needs investment in all the amenities.
NO SHADE AT ALL ON THE TERRACE RESTAURANT - unusable during the day.
