Pau hotel

Great views towards the hills. Location has good parking. Breakfast options. Shower and room comfortable and good for touring.

Evening food options were minimal, microwave pot food. Hotel is a little remote to walk to other food locations. Only suitable for short term stays.

Great value for money stay

Super close to motorway , very handy to stop over at night on long journey. Rooms are small but it is clean, accessible any time of the night. It is great value for money.

Comfortable beds, cleanliness overall, simpathy of the staff.

The AC system was a somewhat noisy.

The room was good and comfortable!

The bathroom is not so big and they still use curtains on the showers! I think that it is not very hygienic!

Very good

Very clean room and toilets. More than adequate for an overnight stay. Helpful friendly staff and a nice self serve breakfast selection.

The only downside to our stay was the lack of an on site restaurant so you have to go out and eat in the evening.

Would stay here again!

Very attentive staff/owners. The room was “tight”, but clean with comfortable bed! Breakfast was very adequate and good.

Very good value for a short stop over.

Breakfast was very good value for money. Room was small but adequate for a one night stay. Very clean. Self check-in was easy to use.

Not having a key - room code was on a receipt which I kept getting mixed up with other receipts in my purse. This is a minor complaint though.

Easy booking in system was good. Location is good for those transiting through France to Spain, and vise versa.

Lack of pillows, could have at least an extra pillow for a couple. The rooms are small and I wouldn't want to stay longer than a night. We have stayed here previously so knew to bring our own kettle etc

A good overnight stay.

The room was very satisfactory, basic but clean. Bathroom was also clean. Breakfast was good fair variety of foods. A good place to stop for an overnight stay

There was nothing we didn't like about this hotel.

For a budget hotel it perfectly lived up to expectations

Staff were welcoming and helpful Room was clean and functional Breakfast was good Easy to find Parking on site was good

It’s a dog friendly hotel but wouldn’t allow dogs in the breakfast area which meant we had to take turns having breakfast. No outside seats where we could have sat with our dog having breakfast The beds were pretty basic - a bit squeaky when moving around The air con clicked on and off all night

Ideal for a quick stop

Hotel automatically confirmed by email the code to use for "out of hours" checkin, but I arrived while reception was open anyway. Checked in politely and quickly, perfect If I had one word for this hotel it would be "efficient" Despite being only 1 min off the motorway, the hotel was in a very quiet location, with cheap food & fuel only a 5 min drive away. Plenty of parking, everything was very clean, the air conditioning worked well, the shower was good, it did everything that it needed to do and did it well I saw other reviews complaining about the room size, but I don't know why - you can easily walk around both sides of the bed, there is a small desk, the bathroom is well laid out - what more do you need? It's not somewhere you would go for a two week holiday, it's a quick stop (I left at 9am and I could see that the car park was almost empty by this time!) I didn't have breakfast but did have a coffee from the handy machine next to reception (double espresso, 2 euro)

Only minor points - the shower surface was a little slippery and it would have been good to have a small shelf in there - I had to reach around to the sink to pick up my soap

A really lovely clean hotel. Staff excellent and very well kept, the breakfast was fabulous as well as the staff member, who was extremely helpful. would definitely recommend this hotel. Great value for money
