Nothing
The beds were hard.
The pillow was hard.
Creaky floors.
Noise between rooms.
The toilet door couldn't be closed.
Common areas were dirty.
High traffic noise from the street.
Dim lighting in the hotel room.
Staff at the reception don't look at you upon arrival.
Located in the midst of busy streets.

The location and parking.
It's was a little bit noisy during the night.

Very old building, with old furniture. Windows could not be closed so tightly, so at night you can here noise from the streets.
We have room with windows to the road, where was huge old ruined building. That was our view from windows.

Great historic property with attentive staff and a beautiful balcony sea view. The hotel is clearly in the process of modernizing, but we enjoying the classic elements, including the downstairs lounge area, french doors/trim & high ceilings. Rooms are air-conditioned, but the lounge is not. Breakfast is generous and has great variety. We would not hesitate to recommend this, and if you have the chance, book room 107, for the beautiful balcony view!
We would have spent more time in the lounge if it was air-conditioned, and we look forward to seeing the hotel in the future as it continues to update and modernize. We hope that it will retain its classic charm as it does so.

Hotel is in the grand tradition of 'seaside resort hotels' with a little bit of faded grandeur alongside some more modern updates. The staff were helpful and the parking onsite was a real bonus. Our room was on the top floor, which meant getting a very rickety lift, however, the view over the rooftops and to the sea beyond was absolutely worth the climb. Room was simple but comfortable enough. Balcony was the best part, with great views, it was the perfect place to watch the sunrise.
Shower was awful! An over bath affair with irregular temperature control, it managed to get more water on the floor than it did over us! The air conditioning was asthmatic at best, however, it was cool enough in the evening to have the balcony doors open, so we didn't mind so much.

nice relaxed old fashioned vibe with great breakfast, easy parking, helpful staff and the opportunity to rent bikes too
it’s of its time, but that is part of the charm

Receptionist
The policeman waiter at breakfast. You felt you were stealing food from him. Very very uncomfortable.

Location, parking, very good breakfasts, proximity to the beach and city center

I loved this hotel. They gave us the two best guest rooms with spacious terraces. Too bad we only stayed for one night. it was definitely worth a longer stay.

The hotel have a very good location and the private parking is good. Also the hotel have a nice backyard with very good lightning. Personal was nice and the breakfast was very good with very good service as well. The lobby area is very well decorated and looking really nice - much nicer than I expected. The prices of the coctails in the lobby were very cheap.
The room was old. There was no table and the bathroom need a renovation. We had two different rooms in 2nd and 3rd floor, and the last one was way worse. The room in the 2nd floor was fully renovated and in very good condition, but the other one was not - it is not equal. The lobby area is not air conditioned so it is not usable during the hot days.

The location and breakfast were good . Staff was friendly.
Value for money. Our room wasn’t stylish. No facilities, For example bottle opener, glasses for water/wine. Small things, but… We recommend think about this.
