La solera y empaque del hotel, era todo antiguo con personalidad huyendo del tópico-tipico de los hoteles de ahora.
La cortina de la bañera.

Historic hotel in a beautiful building that oozes charm but needs some refurbishing. Very large terrace with fantastic river views. The property has also a beautiful garden with a pool across the river. Breakfast was also good.

Hotel is old as the furniture inside. Breakfast is very-very basic. The visitors are mainly pensioners.

Everything was top. The staff super friendly, flexible and helpful, the place out of a movie and lcoation super nice in the city center next to river. Sitting on terrace at evening with river next to us was simply unforgettable. The garden with the pool is a little oasis mid-town. parking is a bit outside but free of charge and no problem to walk.
Temperature of the pool made it unfortunately unusable with small kids despite being August. WAs a bit too cold.We needed to clean a bag of clothes and as there is no cleaning station in town the hotel was so kind to offer us that they clean it for you. We were very grateful and of course offered to pay for it. However, the 40 eur charge for one bag of clothes that followed on the final bill we found a bit exaggerated. It would have been good to get a headsup for such price to be able to decide beforehand.

Location is great, views are stunning! and the pool area is a dream!
Our room wasn’t the best as our bathroom didn’t have a window and it was a bit smelly but other than that, great!

vintage hotel in the city center
the room we stayed had no window to the outside. no sightseeing.

The location was wonderful and the staff were friendly and helpful. The grounds were nice to walk around.
It was quite dark and dated. Only the basics were provided. It was quite hot in the summer to not have Aircon or a fan provided. We did have a window, but it was on the noisy plaza. I would suggest getting a few irons and ironing boards to have at the facility for guests to borrow if you do not want to supply them in the rooms. I felt breakfast ended early as well.

location
small rooms, very small bathroom, no ac or fans, no fridge, no blackout, cheap orange drink, average but expensive restaurant, short swing pool hours and no towels, etc

The building is beautiful with a cozy bar with a roaring open fire. The staff were lovely and our room was so clean! We'll have to come back in summer because the garden and pool look lovely.
