Adorámos

As funcionárias super simpáticas. Limpeza, localização, wifi, piscina.

Pequeno almoço um pouco fraco...falta a meu ver, o controlo dos hospedes que vêm/faltam tomar o p.a. No 2º dia às 10h já não tinham croissants...a meu ver falta melhorar este tema. As wc estão a necessitar de remodelação assim como os cortinados. Sei que a gerência mudou há ca 1 ano ... vamos ter alguma calma! Os canais da tv tb não têm muito canais portuguesas, mas como nós passámos o dia todo fora, não nos incomodou... Atenção: é muito dificil encontrar restaurantes para jantar ali na zona, principalmente aos sábados. Fomos 1x ao restaurante o Manel em Gavião e 1x Restaurante o Bigodes em Ortiga (tem um bolo de chocolate que é "O melhor bolo de chocolate do mundo" fabricado em Lisboa (investiguem na net) que já recebeu prémios. A comida tb é muito boa!

A simpatia dos funcionários excepcional, o pequeno almoço muito bom, a limpeza irrepreensível, a localização fantástica. Adorámos, recomendo. Uma Paz fenomenal. A piscina maravilha.

As espreguiçadeiras da piscina poderiam ter colchão para serem mais confortáveis.

Pas de chauffage et impossible de joindre la plate-forme, on a été contacté après avoir signalé quitter le logement c est dommage , la personne était compréhensive et j espère que le site fera un geste commercial pour une fois . Nous avons du trouver un autre logement du coup…. 🥲

Very good

Accomodation is nice, the place is lovely and relaxing. Right on the river, there is a bar and a restaurant. Beach is nice. The swimming pool is a big plus. Breakfast is great.

Parking is a bit tricky.

location. size of the rooms. on site restaurant albeit operated by a separate company.

a bit old. only one member of staff but he was helpful. he had to be reminded to turn the boiler on to heat the water.

lovely hotel on the beach by the river

it’s located on a lovely beach, right opposite the castle. small swimming pool, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. nice nearby beach bar that serves food till at least 9pm. manager was very helpful in letting me park my motorbike more securely off street

would have been nice to be able to make coffee or tea in the room, and it needs some renovation

Superb

Stunning location and the bar/restaurant local dies great food. Staff were wonderful too.

Reception not manned full time and I needed to get away early. Ended up sending an email and leaving the key in the post box. Not ideal but hey, everything else is great.

Friendly, beautiful location, but not worth the money

Location was beautiful and staff were friendly, as well as trying to be helpful.

Room was very cold, despite having the heating Aircon going. Bathroom was very old and took a very long time, as well as a lot of water for hot to come through. Location is nice, but quite far (5km) from nearest other thing, e.g. restaurant etc.. The staff were very friendly, but I've stayed in much better places for half the price. I'd say it's not recommended at the budget if you can move further on and get to another hamlet

Friendly and helpful staff, good Portuguese continental type breakfast that is served until 10am. Location wise it is 10sec from the river beach.

Rooms are a bit on the small side specially if you travel with kids that require extra beds. Parking can be very difficult in summer time between 10AM and 18PM.

It's ok. Needs adequate pricing.

We loved the location! This really is a special place where the river meets the mountais and provides us with a unique nature experience. The hotel has implemented tight COVID measures at the pool that allow for a tranquil experience and the breakfast is very good. The staff is helpful and very polite.

Our room was very small and our family could hardly fit. We stayed for four nights and no cleaning service was provided. We were informed on arrival that cleaning service is provided only to people staying over five nights... which is a bit uncomfortable in COVID times. This hotel is very expensive for the commodities offered (and in spite of the privilleged location). The hotel structure is old, in need of updates and repairs and it clearly was once a Youth Hostel or similar. So it feels difficult to understand the pricing; we were expecting something better and roomier. There is no Internet available and the TV is so old that our daughter commented on it. The hotel restaurant is not functioning this year and it is located far from any town, so guests are basically obliged to use the beach snack-bar... that has one vegetarian "dish" and no other healthy options; it also clearly applies only the absolute minimal and essential COVID requirements. The snack-bar is not the hotel, but it is inevitable for anyone staying here. We ended up going to the supermarket and buying snacks just to manage throughout the days. We would recomend the location to anyone but the hotel is just too expensive for the experience as a whole.
