Hotel is honestly in the best location of the three valleys. we’ve been going there for 12 years and this is the second year at this hotel. it’s located right where all the restaurants are with a supermarket downstairs too. The best part is it is also right at the chairlifts and being in Mottaret means you’re connected the best to all the other valleys in the three valleys. it’s the easiest to get everywhere from.
No complaints about this property. Last year we had an issue with smell in the kitchen but this year everything was great.

The room was really big and the location is amazing. it’s right in. the centre with all the restaurants and all the lifts are right there. if you want to go to Meribel Centre the free bus is also just around the corner. There is a supermarket below which is incredibly convenient.
The apartment was clean but there was a very unpleasant smell in the room. My husband couldn’t sleep because of the smell and discovered it was layers and layers of grease under the shelf that is above the cooker. seems no one thought to clean that’s. We ended up cleaning it almost every day until the smell finally felt like it was almost gone.

Only the location is the reason we book at this hotel for the last 4 years. Nothing else.
we have stayed in this hotel four times. every year we leave with the same feeling “the hotel is not taken care of”. it is an old hotel in a bad shape and we pay the price only for the location. it is annoying that upon arrival you have to make your bed and before departure you have to clean the whole apartment. this is typical and standard hotel service that the price for the accommodation should already include (if I have to make those chores myself it is an expensive accommodation). The bed for the adults is just a sofa that is so very uncomfortable. the beds for the kids (with one superposé) is super uncomfortable and dangerous if you have kids older that 10 years old as for the upper bed there is not enough space for the kids and they bang their head to the ceiling. The ski lockers are messy, very narrow, inconvenient. When it gets crowded simply you cannot use them. There are a number of improvements that this hotel should make and every year I am sharing comments but in vain there is no progress. so this was our last year of staying there. Staff is always helpful, subject to be lucky to find the reception open ( opening hours are a bit irrational). We also had a leak of water from the sink, that was a very bad surprise happening in the middle of the night. Also when I asked for a second pillow (to support my back in such an uncomfortable sofa bed, I was refused one).

Location is the best in all of the three valleys.
Beds and pillows were not so comfortable.
