Okay location and could have been a lot better if anything was maintained.

The room was big and they cleaned it every day when we went out to the beach. There was a fridge, stove and sink.

First few nights we did not have any hot or warm water, later in the day the water would stop completely and we couldn't even brush our teeth. Taking a shower had to be cold which do not work if you have small children. After complaining about it they opened up something and we got some water and was even able to get some lukewarm water if you set the tap just right. The bath can not be used as a bath (dirty and no plug). The air conditioning unit was extremely dirty and had only cold and very cold which meant my whole family got sick after a couple of nights. Switching it off is not an option as the heat can be unbearable and opening a window invited lots of mosquitos. The swimming pool area was also not easily accessible. We had to walk through hallway, down stairs out by front door then around the house to get to the back in order to use it (water is also not very clean). The pool area BBQ is a wood/coal burning BBQ that is rusted, dirty and broken so we were not able to BBQ anything. There was supposed to be a microwave oven at BBQ area which also didn't work and the pool table had all but fallen to pieces, all pool cues were also broken. Inside the room the vent above the gas oven did not work unless you plug out the oven igniter and use that for the vent. Utensils were also very dirty and missed lots of items like bottle opener or bread knife. We had to buy some and left it there for next guests. Description said its close enough to beach to walk. Taking the trails and road there can take you a good 20 minutes, so best to have a car.

The location to the strip of hotels is just across the street. The people are very nice

when we arrived it looked like an abandoned property as there are duck tape X’s on the windows. the water dosn't get warm for the shower. the pool is no accessible. there are dogs and cats at the facility. and it seems to be a residential stay for the family that operates it.

Loved my stay here

The room was big and has everything you need, the pool area was also very nice, clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful :) It was walking distance from the beach and restaurants in Palm Beach

Very disappointing. I will stay at the resorts and pay more before I will stay here again.

The bed was comfortable and made up daily. The trash was taken out daily.

An extra roll of toilet paper in the room would have been nice. Clean towels everyday/even every other day would have been nice...had the same towels all week, actually utilized my beach towels for showers. Sheets were not changed at all. No toiletries provided. No dresser in the room, only a shelf and hanging bar. The swimming pool was unusable. Room only had a small refrigerator, didn't even try to cook on the "kitchen" equipment in the pool area, as it didn't look safe and the utensils, pans provided were worn.

Too much noise in the lobby, but I still managed to sleep well.

The location was perfect. On walking distance to the restaurants.

Seems like I got caught with the pictures of the apartment online. Wasn't at all what I expected. looks more like a scam. I will do my research better from now on.

Very good location!

Sandra made our stay great. She is always ready to help with anything we might need and also the rest of the staff are always keen to help and assist too. Great house to stay in Aruba! Also the location is great. Less than 10' from the beach and the hotel area!

No frills!!!!!

The location was good for my needs.

It was not quiet. Not many guests but two kept me up all night. The owner was not available for me. Couldnt speak with anyone there. I told the housekeeper to clean my room tomorrow in Spanish and she didnt. The first room i was given was terrible.second better. I would not recommend this place.no soap or toilet paper given. I bought my own.

this was a good value but for another $20 a night the owners could provide some basic amenities

the retreat was a short walk from the Palm Beach shoreline and all activities

it seemed to need an awfully lot of updating and basic maintenance.

The location was excellent. You could walk during the day to Palm Beach and the shops. At night you need to take a car because of poor lighting on the street

You only got clean sheets and towels at the beginning of your stay. No shampoo or soap was provided.

The location is excellent. The host JR amazing. The service in the room was daily. Aruba in general is beautiful.

Roaches in the kitchen cabinet. The floor felt Sandy and the sheets were stain.

Make sure to research where you stay

The pool was nice breakfast was OK people where friendly.

I like comfort when I travel before my stay i asked if they had lounger for the beach the respond was 2 and they show a picture of the beach with 2 chairs, their was no beach at a 10 minute walk, my room was on a 3rd floor not convenient, walking to the beach took me 40 minutes to go any where was a walking distance. Sara told me she would pick me up wich it took 2hrs as to Sara her respond she told me she called the airport and they told her at 4pm I got their at 2:30pm. Also for Sara to drop me off at the airport she had car problem my luck. I also want to say your water is not clean to drink till this day and I'm home 3 week I been having diarrhea I trusted Sara now I know to never drink water any other then NY. Their was also cooking in the middle of the night I didn't expect to smelling food that was bothersome. I look at safety all the time going up and down stairs with no banister is not safe.

Beautiful accommodation within walking distance of the shops and beach

I was worried about not staying on the beach front but after seeing how commercial and busy it was, I was glad this little hotel was set back from the crowds. It was quiet (about 10 minute walk to the beach), very clean and comfortable, and everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful with loads of information for travelers.

Everything was great.
