Amazing Homestay with the loveliest family

This place is a little sanctuary in Ubud. The family is incredibly friendly and kind. They will go above and beyond for you. Great price for scooter and laundry. The main thing for us is that it was quiet (yes you hear some roosters) but you can get some undisturbed sleep. It’s a little away from the hustle and bustle of things but you can still walk to some amazing food places. There’s even a gym nearby and a supermarket. We loved it so much here we extended our stay. Room gets cleaned every day too which is a great bonus.

Great location; calm, friendly spot/street, but walkable to noisy city center.

Bed was comfortabel, ac worked well, bathroom was relatively modern. Staff was really nice. Pretty garden view. Breakfast relativity good. I like fruit for breakfast so ordered the banana pancakes and it was pretty good compared to other places (there was banana in it). There's the option of 1 fruit juice pp too. The omelet breakfast came with much less toast the 2nd day, not sure why. Location: Walking distance from the center, ca. 20 minutes only, through the small streets (pack navigation + a light to keep you save from all the scooters). Even though it's relatively near the center, it's a very calm location, in a pieceful street with not much traffic noise! Nearby little shops can sell you cheap bottled water.

Waterpressure of the shower is almost non, I used the nearby toilet "shower" to rinse the shampoo out, and warmed up with the few warm shower drops after. The cups and cutlery of the breakfast dishes were really dirty. No drinking water refill at the hotel, nor breakfast table. I find this common in all the hotels in Bali in this price range (except for 1 ). I don't mind to pay for it, but I do mind the huge amount of plastic of buying bottled drinking water.

Great stay for anyone on a budget that wants a comfortable and safe place to stay!

The breakfast was amazing! Had choices of omelets and pancakes (pancakes were great)! The host was extremely nice and welcoming! The property was beautiful and had a nice koi pond. The room was clean and spacious for what we needed.

The only downside (not a fault from the host) is that the address on Booking.com is not the correct address - it brings you to a place about 5 minutes away. The location does come up in Google Maps, but not on apps like Grab or Gojek. So, if you do happen to take a Grab or Gojek, tell them to use Google Maps (if they have that) to get to the homestay.

The guesthouse exceeded my expectations. The room was really clean, there was always someone around to help and I could drop off my luggage before the check in time. They are really attentive with everything, for example they put the citronella insent in the evening in front of the door and arranged the laundry service for me. The breakfast was good. The garden is spectacular.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

They got everything you need and more. I can truly recommend this accommodation and wish I could have been stayed longer if it wouldn't been booked out already. Definitely will come back to this accommodation when coming back to Ubud. Clean rooms. Highly comfortable Bed. Very well working aircon. Very friendly stuff. Very friendly family runned hotel. Good location. Close to YogaBarn. Awesome Breakfast. Amazing Garden.

You could here in the daytime some construction noises.

beautiful place for relaxing trip

The hosts are a lovely family. They were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday. They really made every single mosquito free. The homemade breakfasts were great with multiple choices. The place is so so beautiful. Eevryone i met at Batantop said they like this place. I will definitely choose to stay here next time when I come to Ubud.

There were dried-on stains on the sheet.

Everything was good, perfect location near the centre but far from the traffic noise, delicious breakfast (banana pancakes were just to die for) with always fresh fruit. room was well equipped with comfy bed, hot water and cleaned everyday. The garden gives you a sense of relax. Katut and his family are excellent people and welcome you as a family member, always ready to satisfy any request.

Excellent option to stay surrounded by a relaxing space and close to Ubud

This place is amazing! The owner allowed us to keep our bags for a couple of day while we travelled to Munduk. He was very helpful and welcomed us afterwards and explained us all about the place. The garden is extremely well maintained and there is a great owl and Koi fish pond. The owner prepared mosquito burning coils every afternoon so they don't get close to the rooms. The breakfast was very good and with a scooter you are very close to Ubud but can avoid all the noise from the city. Thank you for the excellent stay!

Great place to stay! Amazing garden, the room was really comfy and quiet! The owner and his family helped us arranging some stuff which save us a lot of time! Breakfast was exceptional!!!

Comfortable, beautiful, cozy and lovely place/ ambience! Highly recommend!

The property is so beautiful and makes you feel that you are part of the true nature within Bali. It is so clean, well maintained, has a beautiful pond with Koi fishes and an amazing open dining area. The rooms are so cozy and were so neat. Beds were super comfortable. I wanted to stay longer but the property was fully booked for next 5-6 days. Would definitely visit again whenever I come back. The host Krishna, his sister, mother and the entire family are so nice, friendly and welcoming. We checked in very late around 11PM and they still made us welcomed and along with welcome drinks. The breakfast was amazing! Better food than most overpriced places in Bali! Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful stay with amazing staff

We loved everything!! First of all the lovely family that live here are just outstanding and will do anything for you to make your stay comfortable. The guest house is just beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and we also had dinner a couple of nights, fantastic, home cooked food. We stayed for 6 nights and we were sad to be leaving! Great location lots of things nearby, we had a scooter so everything was very accessible. I can’t recommend this place enough, beautiful!!!

Beautiful place in Ubud. Away from the touristy areas but close enough that you can get to easily on a scooter. The gardens are amazing, the whole vibe is relaxing. The owners are very helpful and friendly. I've stayed multiple times in Ubud, and this has been, by far, the most pleasant experience I've ever had. The wifi is good, the rooms clean and the breakfast good. Very quiet area (other than background animal noises, which did not disturb me).

There wasn't a kettle in the room, but the owners happily gave me boiling water when I asked (so that my coffee addiction did not suffer) so this really isn't a negative

Incredible little paradise, 100% recommend!

Literally everything about our stay was amazing! The accommodation is absolutely beautiful, it was such a pleasure to stay here. The garden is green, peaceful and quiet, like a little paradise, despite being centrally located and not far from the main road. The hosts are incredibly sweet and friendly and they cook amazing breakfast—bigger portions than we expected. The room was clean and super tidy, and it was cleaned every day. Would love to come back and stay here a little longer :) Our expectations were high but they were exceeded! 100% recommend

If I have to name one thing, the WiFi connection wasn’t great, like in most places/accommodations on Bali. Just a small thing though!

Beautiful stay

Amazing property run by a beautiful family. They are super nice and keep the guest house very clean and tidy. I was greeted with a big smile and a water lemon juice that was so refreshing after a long journey.

Superb

Beautiful room and bathroom. The location was perfect, even though it was close to everything in Ubud, it was still away from all the noise and traffic. The absolute highlight was the garden, very picturesque! I would recommend the banana pancakes for breakfast. The owners are also lovely people and helped me in fixing a motorbike.

The only thing was the ants in my room, but that cannot be avoided in a tropical country close to the jungle.

Incredible guesthouse.

We stayed 6 days and everything was perfect. An incredible little guest house run by the kindest of people. The garden is a little taste of Eden and the koi-pond is one of the cutest you'll get to see. Ask for the waterfall mini-tour behind their garden, it's really nice. Thanks a million Katut!
