Pleasant

The staff was nice.

The hotel was a bit run down. The light in our room did not work. Breakfast starts at eight at the weekend which is not convenient when you take the ferry early in the morning. Quite far from the City Center.

i left after having seen the room and all the silverfish in the bathroom and other creatures under the bed. I told the guy at the reception and her returned my money and apologized

Norwegian romantic

The fresh cool air, with the smell of pine trees Terrific breakfast Cozy clean room, enormous plasma TV, all bathroom facilities Silence, calmness, romantic You really become a cleaner person I am thankful to the whole personnel and the chief.🥰🥰🥰

Good for what it is. Clean rooms, easy access, close to the ferry. Value wise the best alternative around.

The bathrooms especially are a bit dated. The beds are okay, but not the most comfortable. Everything is clean, but you can see the age. Staff wasn't particularly friendly or helpful.

Good enough for once, but when possible not for more.

Reception staff was helpful and gave us another room when we asked. Beds and rooms are clean, albeit very dated.

The whole motel looks like it is in dire need for an overhaul. The building seems to be from the 70's, maybe 80's and some furniture looks like it has never been replaced. The breakfast is merely passable, lacking choice and quality. A bit more effort from the kitchen staff would have made a big difference. Ramps instead of stairs would be helpful with heavy luggage. Wondering who has designed the stairs on the side of the building, bottom 3 steps are missing and seem to have been missing since they were build.

Everything was fine

The room was clean and comfortable

The only window was facing the second building which is located very close, several meters away. Other guests could see the whole room and us all the time...

Friendly staff. Traditional motel starting to show age, but has a unique charm and everything worked ok. Good shower, nice breakfast.

Advise anyone else to skip this property... unless you are living on the ragged edge.

Bathroom was too dirty to take a shower in. Toilet was "running" all night (leaking water internally) Room had three singe beds. No room left over for much else. Loud traffic on two adjacent roads. Entire facility, including dining area, is woefully unmaintained. Boiled eggs (at breakfast) were boiled until they turned dark blue-green.

Holms is located about halfway between our home and the place we visited.

Good breakfast, but missed yoghurt and Müsli.

There was an extra bed in our room, and it took up too much floorspace, so it became a little cramped for our two dogs on the floor.

The litt kitchen we could use had potential, but maybe someone has stolen things and didn’t have a wine opener. The bed was two sigle beds next to each other, not one large bed.

I had my milk stolen from outside my door as I was keeping it cool, I couldn't believe this would happen in Norway! The Breakfast was terrible! Expensive!

It is a motel so you have to like motels to like this place :)

Good breakfast (but eggs cold), atmosphere of diner. Personal is nice.

Bathroom not dirty but really old and party needs lot of renovation, floor peeling off. Huge freezer and fridge in the room (slightly scary) with bad smell, all furniture very old and not fitting together. Mosquitos in room. For some reason felt not very safe as traveling alone maybe due to vibe of room.

The hotel itself is quite old. The rooms, especially the bathroom, need to be renovated and modernized.
