Clean and comfortable. Stairs going upstairs were narrow and steep. Back porch was unusable except for barbecue grill. Backyard was not accessible. Host was quick to answer a couple of questions and very responsive to any issues (trash pickup had skipped camp).

From beginning to end, we had a great experience. Once we arrived, the cottage was just lovely. It was very welcoming, clean, and definitely enough room for what we needed. There were plenty of supplies if we needed. We would definitely return again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful beach house in a quiet neighborhood. Was even closer to the beach than expected...approximately 3 minute walk to the water. House is clean and tidy, easy parking, new appliances and furnishings. Homeowner was always available for questions and resoonded within minutes of messaging. Would highly recommend this house for a family vacation.

Great location
My family and I had a great time here. Short walk to the lake & dog friendly this is exactly what we were looking for. We had one minor issue but the owner was quick to respond and had a simple solution!

It was ok but not what we expected
The property was cute house but Vrbo Description made it sound like it was closer to the beach. Carpet in living room was disgusting and we didn’t walk around without shoes. the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed plus lots of paper products. The two bedrooms upstairs were great with ac. The front window did not latch or lock so from a safety standpoint that was not good but we didn’t worry about it. One of the ACs upstairs dripped into the living room. Could never get the TV to work also. The house has potential but it definitely needs some more TLC and attention to details.

Dirty
Before we booked, the listing didn’t specify sheets and towels were not provided. (We were told we should’ve assumed this and due to Covid living in washed sheets). On the way to the rental, Kiana said the water heater broke and a temp replacement was installed, that we could cancel the booking for a full refund. We could not find another place so soon so we stayed.
When we arrived, we couldn’t believe how filthy the place was. Dust everywhere, all on the walls and windows. My young children were sneezing from all the dust. Hair in the shower (plus someone’s used razors left behind in the shower). Very little cleaning supplies available. No paper towels provided. Especially with COVID-19, you would think cleanliness would be a priority.
In addition, the washer was not working. We were not told this prior to check in. Not having a washer with two young kids for several days is a disaster.
When we brought this up to Kiana, she became extremely defensive. I imagine she will follow up with another extremely defensive response that will somehow blame us for expecting a partial refund for a dirty house with very little hot water and no washer and no sheets/towels. She did agree to a partial refund, but did not actually issue it to us and ignored our messages when inquiring about it.

Great Lake Vacation
Great property with very responsive owners. Peaceful and friendly community with a pristine sandy lakefront beach. I have never seen a cleaner lake. We will definitely be back.
