Staying at our home, Anchors by The Park, you will enjoy all that Cape Charles has to offer being 3 blocks to the beach or 3 blocks to Mason Street. Built in 2016 featuring two master suites with one on the first floor. Faces the Park so you can enjoy the summer concerts right from the front porches. Open floor plan with the third bedroom large enough to accommodate 4 adults or children. Additional open area on the 2nd floor with a pull-out couch. Enjoy the screened-in back deck overlooking the back yard. The backyard is large enough for a gathering. Includes a gas grill and an outdoor shower. 4 and 6 seater beach cruisers available to rent.

Our large family had a wonderful stay! We were a group of 4 adults and 4 kids (20 mo to 11) and we all fit very comfortably! The house has a great layout, we were all able to spread out and relax. The owners have maintained the Cape Charles feel, but in a more modern layout. The kids adored the bunk room and had a ball playing the arcade game. The kitchen was very well equipped and having a pantry space was a great bonus! Having an extra bathroom downstairs and a laundry room were really beneficial! The downstairs master suite was really nice and had a large walk in closet that worked perfectly for our 20 mo old in a pack n play. The porches were so nice for hanging out, especially when we didn’t have the best weather. The location is top tier - right by the park and so close to the beach. We added on the golf cart - highly recommend! It was much nicer than the standard ones we’ve used in the past. it was so convenient to have the garage to park the cart and store the beach gear. The owners were exceptional to work with - always available and very communicative and helpful. A few minor recommendations would be ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms (or portable fans) and a digital keypad for easier entry through the back door. We LOVED this house and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

This was our first time staying at this beautiful home and we’ve already reserved again for next year! I love the layout—the two primary bedroom suites made it comfortable for all of us, including my elderly parents, who used the first floor bedroom. My kids loved the bunk beds and the arcade game. It’s well equipped with all the basics you need, including the optional golf cart rental. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and helpful. Can’t wait to return next year!

The location of this house was perfect. On the park with lots of cool breezes from the porches and a short walk or cart ride to the main street or beach. We were able to let our 7 year old take herself to the playground or go for a bike ride with friends. The house was modern with a very large washer / dryer and comfy pillow toppers on the beds. The closets were massive and also air conditioned, which served as the perfect spot for a 2 year old to sleep in a pack n' play without being disturbed. We added on the six seater golf cart and it was so great - fastest and most modern golf cart we've driven in Cape Charles.

Perfect for our family getaway with young kids. Right next to the playground, and easy access to the beach and town! Golf cart on site a huge plus. Kids loved the bunk beds and arcade game! Thanks again!

I stayed here with a group of girlfriends for the weekend and it was the perfect house for us all. We’ve stayed at several properties in Cape Charles over the years but this was our favorite. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It’s located right on the park which was really nice, and would be great to stay with little kids (thinking of booking with my family in the future!). Communication with the owners was timely and helpful. The check-in and out process was easy, as was the rental of the golf cart! Thank you for a great stay!

We absolutely loved this house. It is located directly on the park with a perfect view of the summer concerts. They had two golf carts available with the property. The check-in process was super easy. And the kids loved the arcade game upstairs. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for kids by the park. You can watch the Saturday Summer concert series from the deck. Very clean and owners were very responsive. Golf cart rentals in the garage made everything very convenient! Would definitely stay here again.

My family and I loved this home and our stay in Cape Charles. The location is perfect, especially for families with younger children as it’s right next the playground and community park. The home is very convenient to the Main Street and the beach. We can’t wait to book again!

We loved being so close to the park - the location makes it easy to go back and forth to the beach but is also great for outside play at the field and playground. The house is spacious and very comfortable, clean and includes some helpful amenities (for example, there were cooking spices and a few coffee pods, but no laundry detergent or extra trash bags). Having the garage and golf cart access was especially useful, not to mention two covered porches for rainy days. We look forward to booking again!

Ours was a long overdue family vacation. Upon our arrival, our contactless arrival was seamless. We had received all instructions prior to our arrival, and we experienced no issues either with gaining entry or with using anything in the home during our stay. We were five adults and one toddler and everyone was comfortable. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It was so handy to have the washer and dryer in the house. And the up and down heating/a/c controls was perfect. And loved using the golf cart! We would definitely come back.

This property was amazing for our family beach vacation! Our in laws used the first floor master and we took the upstairs master next to the kids room. Everything was extremely clean and the owners made our stay so easy by providing shampoo, condition, towels, and linens. The location is also perfect for kids since it is right at the the park.

Had a great visit with 2 families. There was enough room for us all and we had a lot of fun with the golf cart. The home was clean overall and we had everything we needed. We recommend planning in advance for Cape Charles does not have a lot of carry out options. Also if you’re going to the beach I’d recommend being your own umbrella or tent. Great option for little kids for the bay was very shallow.

We very much enjoyed our week at Anchors by the park. The house is wonderfully situated with an open floor plan, plenty of storage space and lots of supplies. The front decks cannot be beat and were our favorite place to hang out in the morning and evenings. The 6 seater golf cart was so awesome. The hosts are the best we’ve had! So nice and communicative, and generous. Any question or request we had was quickly answered and accommodated. We will absolutely stay here again! The proximity to the park and playground cannot be beat. And the neighbors were friendly and great to chat with. My kids wanted to stay forever!

We spent three nights at this house in early April. What a fantastic house! The location, cleanliness, layout and amenities were all absolutely fantastic. My son and son especially loved the arcade game on the second floor. In addition to the house itself, the owners were so responsive and helpful! Thank you for a great stay!

This home was the perfect set up for a weekend away with the kids and their grandparents. Very clean and well-equipped. The arcade game in the loft space was a hit! We definitely recommend renting the golf cart from the owners as well.

We were there for a lovely wedding at friend’s home. The location of the VRBO was perfect being within walking distance of town and the beach. The house was clean and well set up for 5 adults. I think our only issue was a lack of linens. Literally 1 bath towel and washcloth per person (a bit challenging for girls washing their hair) and no throws or blankets. I realize we could have reached out to the owners for extra, but didn’t want to bother them for that. The front porch and the back screened porch was very enjoyable. We would recommend this house and location.

This home was exceptional in every way. Spotless, inviting, wonderful open layout in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to town and the beach. Loved the porches and the golf cart. We wanted to relax after a busy wedding weekend and this place was perfect! The hosts were easy to communicate with and offered to mail us a jacket we left behind. Very gracious. We hope to return as soon as we can.
