Merchants House is a luxury 4 bed 3.5 bath house with beautiful landscaped gardens and parking for several vehicles in the heart of Salcombe. ,
The property was designed by Interior Designer Roberta Taker to be a home from home that you'll never want to leave. The property is very conveniently located in the Victorian Quarter of Devon Road, and is only a 3-4 minute walk to the waterfront, shops and restaurants of Fore St.
The property itself compromises of 3 floors.
Ground Floor. An open plan ground floor benefits from marble floors throughout, a stunning kitchen designed by Roberta and Andrew Farrow (furniture maker for Fortnum & Mason, London). There is also a 2nd sitting room and a utility room.
The 1st floor comprises 3 large bedrooms (1 super-king, 1 King and 1 Double) as well as 2 luxury bathrooms.
The 2nd floor has 4 single beds, set out in a dormitory style, together with its' own bathroom. The 2nd floor is a teenager heaven, with an xbox, splash proof tv in the bath & bluetooth speaker system.
The property also benefits from a very large landscaped gardens, with several terraces to eat, drink or simply relax.

There is a parking platform for numerous cars.

Stunning house in an excellent location
The perfect house for our large group, very well equipped and comfortable. The house is in an amazing location offering wonderful views and easy access to the town centre and amenities. The garden is truly amazing.

Merchants House - simply the best
Just spent a wonderful weekend with family at Merchants House Salcombe. The house is superbly decorated, furnished and equipped with everything you could imagine. The garden is also very beautiful with plenty of outdoor equipment to keep all ages happy. I can’t rate this property highly enough, it is just excellent.

A very enjoyable stay in Merchants House helped by fantastic weather and owners who could not have been more helpful. House very comfortable although top room only really suitable for young children as very low ceilings
