The house worked out perfectly for our week long stay. There are plenty of rooms and all of them were extremely comfortable with all of the amenities that you would need. The house as an easy walk to King Street where all of the restaurants and establishments are. I would highly recommend this property!

Just returned from a 4 night stay with 9 members of my family ranging in age from 10 years to 80+. The house was everything we hoped it would be plus much more. Communication with owner Ted was easy/quick and he went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay, from an early check in to leaving a kitchen stocked with the essentials, coffee and ice cream! Checking in was a great experience as we explored the 3 floors and 5 bedrooms trying to decide which one to sleep in. Each was unique, welcoming and fully stocked with plenty of towels and bath products. The master bedroom on first floor was perfect for elderly parents as it saved them going up and down stairs to get to a bedroom.
Home is in a quiet neighbor and close to several restaurants/bakery and short walk (2 blocks) to free bus service to downtown Charleston. It has plenty of room to spread out and was comfortable, clean, and has great AC throughout every space. The owners have obviously put a lot thought into what makes a rental home special and it shows in the house. From a charging station for several phones at once, fully stocked bathrooms, AC in all spaces (and set at 68 on our arrival), plenty of maps and tour info of Charleston, lots of coffee/creamer/ice cream in fully stocked kitchen to the pastries that welcomed us all made for a great experience and vacation.
We have stayed in many rental homes over the past 10 years and this home is easily in the top two and I recommend it without hesitation.

The house is wonderful. Lots of room for our family of 8. The kitchen and bathrooms are very well stocked. The beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the location and could walk or Uber easily.

We had an absolutely marvelous stay! We were visiting Charleston for our son's wedding at St Luke’s, which is about a block away. The location allowed us the ability to stay with three generations of our family with the ability to walk to the chapel. It was perfect! Further, the hosts were very responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

4 couples came to Charleston to attend our friends sons wedding. The house was so beautiful and well stocked with everything we needed!

Overall a great stay. The house was a little further from the sights than we expected, but it was very comfortable and the little extras that the owners put out were so appreciated.

We were two families in for the weekend to witness & celebrate the graduation of our children from college. Parking is easy in the back lot, on the street, or in a nearby deck. We didn’t have the need to walk anywhere, so the location wasn’t an issue. The house couldn’t have been more comfortable. Cozy beds, plus bathrooms with plenty of fluffy towels, and shower soaps. Kitchen had everything we needed, plus all the niceties - Keurig with k-cups, sugar, & creamer; plenty of paper towels, ziplock bags & trash bags. There were even packs of instant grits, oatmeal, and nutrigrain bars. We appreciated all those little details! Owners thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable.

The house is beautiful, very well stocked, plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. the location is great as it's easy to get around. We did not have a car and had no problem getting places either by walking or getting an Uber. The hosts are very generous!!

We came in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run and stayed at this lovely home. It was perfect for the 7 of us with plenty of room/bathrooms. It was clean and every detail was included. They left us snacks, coffee, a sweet note and even water bottles. We will be back for sure! Thank you

We had a wonderful time with family and friends ringing in the new year in Charleston. The large home was appointed nicely with lovely linens and all the necessities. My only comment to consider is the location. It is not really walkable to the popular shopping/restaurant area.
We had to Uber everywhere. It was easy to get Ubers but just something to keep in mind. We were led to believe we were a bit closer. The house is in the medical district. We felt safe and parking was easy. Again, the house is lovely and the property manager was great. We loved Charleston!

This house was amazing and very clean. It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. It was cozy and felt like home. The beds were comfortable as well. We really liked that every bedroom had its own bathroom. The location was convenient to downtown Charleston, with easy access to James Island and Folly Beach. The owners were quick to respond to any questions that we had. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

My friends and I enjoyed a long weekend at “The Penny Palace” this past weekend. It was perfect and everything we needed. Ted and Jake (the hosts) had everything perfect at the house to make our trip seamless and easy. They make personal touches like leaving a sweet note to welcome us, along with some refillable water tumblers, breakfast breads in the kitchen, and a well stocked selection of K-cups so we could enjoy coffee without the stress of having to get to a store to buy groceries just after arriving- along with many other “ extras” throughout the house to make it comfortable, and easy while traveling.
This house is in a quiet, nice, neighborhood. Me and the other 8 ladies staying at this house felt safe here. It is easy to walk to some places to eat and shop. Or, it is so close and central to everything you can take a simple (and cheap) Uber ride to a specific place and walk around from there.
This house is just perfect! Has the Charleston charm with well decorated interior. Also, stocked well with miscellaneous items to help for a smooth trip. Definitely recommend and would stay here again!!

Great experience. We truly loved and enjoyed this house. There wasn’t anything missing that we may have needed. The extras provided in the kitchen and bathroom were above and beyond expectations. The quality of sheets and towels were amazing. We have never been to a rental that provided so many quality items and extras. The owners were very responsive about a smoke alarm issue. The house was very comfortable for 4 friends to enjoy time together and beautiful Charleston.

Ours was a sister getaway for 8 of us women, all over 60 yo. The home was exceptionally clean, and provided plenty of common space for us to visit, eat, play games, and laugh. We shared the 4 good-sized bedrooms, that each had its own bathroom. (A plus for so many women.) The location was good, and felt safe. We walked everywhere during the 3.5 days of touring the city, not needing to have a car or use a service. The hosts, Ted and Jake, were responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

This house was INCREDIBLE! We stayed here for a bachelorette party and felt safe, and secure, and there was PLENTY of room for all of us. Not to mention the house decor is stunning! We felt safe walking into town, and it was only a 5-minute Uber ride to King Street.

We had a great trip to Charleston. The house was well appointed and not too far of a walk to shops/food. The coffee shop on the corner was nice, but only open during the week. It was great to have so many bathrooms, as well as places to relax. We enjoyed gathering in the sitting area on the main floor as well as around the large dining room table. Would definitely suggest for a big group!

I stayed here with 9 friends for my bachelorette party. It was the perfect house for us! There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably. It was in a great location, walking distance from various Charleston hotspots. Ashley, the host, was extremely responsive and helpful, and even made a charcuterie board for us to enjoy! Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Charleston.

We had a friends getaway to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed our stay, and had a lot of fun walking around the city. The dining room became Board Game central, and the Living Room was a great place to hang out. We stayed in the room by back stairs with the sitting room , and it was so comfortable and peaceful. Thank you!

We had 5 adults scheduled but last minute changes and the room situation was still perfect, loved the rooms split up thru the house, the number of bathrooms made it perfect for everyone prepping for the wedding we attended!

Stayed here with extended family for five nights. It was perfect. Well appointed kitchen, dining room, etc. Beds were comfortable with closets and large dressers. Several fireplaces and “extras”. Living area was great for “hanging”. Beautiful home! Easy walk to King street and other city areas. Paid $8 for a Lyft with an elderly family member. Highly recommend. Owner/manager was responsive and friendly. No issues only good memories.

I stayed at with a group of women for a bachelorette party. The place is phenomenal and even better than the photos. The beds and sheets are so comfortable, towels cozy, kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Plus an adorable gift basket that included coffee and bloody Mary mix. We walked almost everywhere over the weekend and felt safe and comfortable doing so. Great location and really communicative and accommodating host!

The home was absolutely lovely. It was extremely clean, decorated beautifully, and we were greeted with fresh flowers and snacks and more. My college friends (class of 1968) and I had a wonderful stay. From the listing I thought it was closer to downtown, but with Ubers it was easy to get in and out of downtown as we were only a few miles away. Lovely home, I would recommend it to anyone!
