Cosy and quite , warm interiors and hospitable hosts - loved the three nights we stayed
All good

Breakfast was wholeheartedly great! Apart from the language barrier as it was also my first time seeing snow, the hosts knew how to set up an atmosphere where you automatically feel at home once you slip into your house shoes as you enter the door :) To some, it might seem that its located quite a walk from a few restaurants and your 7Eleven, but having a nice 5 minute stroll through the snow covered setting is definitely a wonder you must witness, both in the day and night time.
It took me a few minutes to find the place as the name on the booking says "Petite Hotel and Restaurant Air Mail" and the only sign outside says "Air Mail". Luckily, I recognised the building from the images on the website.

The owner! He can’t speak great English but If you have a chance to ask him how he got there go ahead. You’ll be inspired !
There is no onsen but a there is a warm bath and each room has individual shower so it makes up for it

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and welcome! I really like the house and the atmosphere. Many bathrooms and places to sit and enjoy the house. Lovely café and vegan restaurant nearby were great.
