Excellent stay in saltburn a lovely quiet town, I will come again

The potential to be a lovely stay but full of aggravation and discomfort.

It was comfortable and had everything we needed except working heating!

Our problem was more with the management company. We had a deposit taken from our account which we weren’t aware of when we booked. It’s a week later and we have not received it back. We didn’t receive our welcome email and access code and had to make numerous calls trying to get through to them to get them to send our access details. Then we couldn’t turn on the heat, carefully following the instructions. Even though we tried to contact them within the designated hours they didn’t respond till after we left in the morning. So we had a very cold, uncomfortable night.

enjoyed it loved the apartment. would go back.

Lovely decor. We chose this apartment as it was our daughter Ruby’s birthday while staying there. Large enough for a family of 4. My kids loved the bath. Close to the beach. Would definitely return. Even the negatives weren’t enough to put us off.

Not a big deal but there were only 3 forks so I had to use a spoon. Just so you’re aware for the next guests. Also found magnum wrappers next to and under a bed. The main door was kept open by fire extinguisher all day. Men drinking outside a house across from us shouting. The lower floor neighbours shouted at their dog constantly. Stains on the mattress protector - don’t want you to think it was us. Blinds in bedroom don’t block the light. Could do with curtains. There were building materials and a washing machine blocking the entrance hallway.

great location and well presented and equipped apartment

clean and furnished in a modern way excellent array of utensils, cooking dishes. nice to be supplied with coffee, tea and sugar with coffee machine (with pods)👍

very uneven flooring. shower screen useless and wasted 2 towels drying floor over the stay no shaving point so unable to charge electric toothbrush

Amazing apartment

The apartment is beautifully fitted out and has everything you need, home from home. It is only a short walk from the beach, pier, and restaurants. It is also close to other coastal areas which are desirable.

The area is questionable. There are properties on the same street and all around that area which appear to be broken down into flats which are occupied by undesirables. People walking around with beer cans and cider bottles from first thing in a morning until late at night, we saw police go into one of these properties opposite and bring someone out in handcuffs in broad daylight etc. Not what you expect after spending nearly £300 for a 2 night stay. The occupants of the flat below and/or the workmen in the flat above constantly left the main front door to the property unlocked or put a piece of slate in the door to stop it closing. Lastly, we had workmen in the flat above us for our stay, banging, crashing etc which cannot be helped, but the radio on full blast definitley can be helped and was just disrespectful.

Enjoyable but wouldn't rush back to Saltburn I'm afraid to say.

Very light and airy. Rapid response to a plumbing issue. Very well equipped. Located very close to the beach.

The knives were pretty blunt. No iron, so I bought one and left it in the property. the sofa arm was broken would have liked either black out blinds or curtain.

A real treat to stay in this luxurious apartment so close to beautiful beaches and gardens

This apartment looked freshly renovated and had been done very thoughtfully in terms of everything needed to make a stay easy and comfortable. The back up was so helpful and friendly when I forgot how to use a key safe ! Location amazing . You can see the sea . I would definitely come back

Nice place to stay - but the couple downstairs spoilt our evening .

location was great- nice and clean and kitchen was lovely. nice and spacious.

the bath screen enabled water to pour onto the floor which worried us as in a flat. The settees were really uncomfortable with one of the arms was broken. the main issue was the couple downstairs who left their big dog alone on Friday night which howled and barked non stop until about 10. it was that bad I have recordings on it. As a result we wouldn’t stay there again unfortunately.

Clean and comfortable

Beds were really comfortable, property was clean everything was there to hand.

The entrance didn’t do the property any justice, first impression wasn’t good. could do with a spruce up, paint, flooring and walls damaged.

Ruby Retreat

The location was excellent sea views and near the town and station. and the beds were comfortable.

Uncomfortable sofas, WiFi very weak struggle to eat at table as cramped.Could of done with some more furniture such as drawers in the bedroom. Was expensive as not high season and was difficult to stay in the lounge I'm the evening as sofas very small and hard.

Steep stairs and loose stair carpet, the shower was difficult to operate and heating came on, even though it was hot because it had been left on the wrong setting (did say ‘leave on manual’ clearly on the unit)

Break away

The location of the property was perfect, just a short stroll to the beach. The property did have parking directly outside of the property, this may have been luck but if you couldn’t get directly outside there was plenty of space. The property was clean and had everything you needed.

The outside of the property looked abit worn.

Quick response to issues from agent. Very well equipped flat. Very close to amenities.

Initial problem with lock to flat but resolved promptly by agent. Unkempt appearance of entrance to building in which the flat was located.

Just what we needed.

spacious apartment. Recent decor and modern furnishings- lovely. very well equipped albeit that our stay was too short to use the items supplied. Good location. Clean and fresh (with the exception below)

communal entrance and front door. Blinds look nice but let in too much light in the morning. little dusty (blinds and light shades) but overall very clean.

Toilet door could not close...hinges not fixed on. No desk/dressing table. When arrived nearly didn't go in. Front door broken outside run down with litter. Shower panel on bath mouldy. Not enough glass tumblers for 4 people. No hooks in bathroom or towel rails. Paint and DIY items left outside flat door. Hallway and stairs run down

Location was great

Curtains in the bedroom (as well as blinds) would have made bed times for a toddler much easier, as the rooms are bright. Bathroom door also needs planing to close properly.

Fantastic apartment

Location next to beach, spacious clean modern apartment, pubs and shops nearby.

The only thing letting down the apartment was the entryway and front door. Both were in need of a clean and lick of paint but don’t let this put you off.
