Extraordinary totally renovated ski-in/ski-out 3 bed / 3 bath condo at the base of Winter Park Resort. This property is not to be missed as there isn't a better location to have you on mountain while enjoying all the amenities of staying at the base in this newly renovated condo in Zephyr Mountain Lodge. You will feel right at home from the moment you step inside this stunning condo with custom modern stone / tile work, wide plank flooring, elegant modern kitchen featuring high end stainless steel appliances. No stone was left unturned.
This condo is situated on the seventh floor with breathtaking mountain and pond (ice skating rink in winter) views. The kitchen has high end stainless steel appliances quartz counters, beautiful custom tile work, and a large island bar. The kitchen opens to the grand living room and dining room. The living room features a brand new 55 inch 4K smart TV, a large custom gas fireplace and expansive windows which highlight the amazing mountain views and offer plenty of natural light. Enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends around the large dining table with seating for up to 8 guests.
This condo features 3 beds and 3 baths and can sleep 10 guests. The layout is very functional for two families to enjoy. There's two primary suites feature king beds each with en-suite bathrooms, third room has two bunk beds, all single bed and restroom just across. If needed, the living room has a pullout sofa for additional guests. This condo's location could not be more perfect, with the new Zephyr gondola, ice skating rink (winter), tubing hill (winter), Starbucks, and great restaurants and shops just steps away!
This property uses the Triple Sheet Method where we use two sheets to encase the comforter. This sheet-made duvet cover gets washed between each and every guest to provide an extra clean sleeping experience.
For your convenience and especially handy for extended stays, there is a washer and dryer located in the condo. Free Wi-Fi. Portable A/C units located in the bedroom closet.
The Zephyr Mountain Lodge features four outdoor hot tubs, a fitness room, ski lockers, heated underground parking, onsite ski shop, and restaurants and shopping. The ice skating rink, tubing hill, and Fraser River trail are all less than a 5 minute walk. This Unit is located on 7th floor in Riverside Building - and has some of the best views to the slopes / the base area. Make this condo your escape and home away from home!

The resort base village includes the lifts for skiing/boarding/mountain biking, snow tubing, hiking, ice skating, shopping, dining, scheduled entertainment, and other attractions including several summer activities. The swimming pool and gym are just 4.1 miles away at the Grand Park Rec Center with multiple swimming pools, a waterslide, full gym with indoor track, huge rock climbing wall, gymnasium, and children's playground. The Foundry is next door to the Rec Center with a bowling alley, movie theater and brick oven pizza bar. Safeway grocery store is 5.6 miles away in the town of Fraser.

Loved it. Just three guys on a hiking trip….perfect for us.

Understanding the lack of A/C at the front end of the booking because of normally cool summer temps in the area, we found the entire condo temperature at 80+ degrees upon arrival. It never got any cooler.
We set up the two room coolers provided, opened all the windows that had screens on them (most did not - they were stuffed in a closet), and set up 4 box fans. Coolers would not sufficiently cool even one bedroom. Overnight, temps did not drop inside at all. Crazy hot even with all "cooling" devices/suggestions in place.
Instructions for TV in living room with ROKU stick would not work - could not turn on TV.
"Sorry for the inconvenience" was the only explanation for having two ice cube trays instead of an ice maker.
Window shade fell off window when trying to open.
We prepaid for 4 nights (Over $1800), but the first night was so miserably hot, we packed up and left after 1 night. The pics in the listing were an exaggeration of the overall condition, wear, and age of furniture and fixtures. Everything about the room was VERY DISAPPOINTING & HOT! Stay away in the summer.
At this price point, some air conditioning and an updated freezer should be standard amenities.

Our family of 8 comfortably stayed in the condo. It was clean & had everything we needed. Having 3 full bathrooms was really nice. We couldn't have asked for a better location given our trip was focused on mountain biking & hiking.

We have stayed in many different Zephyr Lodge units and the location and ski in-out convenience is wonderful. This penthouse unit has a great layout and was very comfortable for 4 adults. Views were beautiful. Kitchen was well furnished and spacious for cooking, but several things were lacking for a high end penthouse unit. Coffee maker was cheap, toaster handle was missing, salt & pepper grinders did not work, lacking a decent cutlery set for food prep, and fridge has no ice maker ( just two old ice trays). An ice maker is expected of a unit that advertises upscale appliances, especially when there is no ice machine provided in the entire building and the mercantile sells out of ice on weekends.
The sofa and loveseat cushions were were terribly worn and uncomfortable, stuffing coming out of tear in back cushion of loveseat. For a unit of this size and cost, the lack of quality and comfortable LR furniture was very disappointing. This issue deserves the most attention of the various deficiencies mentioned.
Except for the master bedroom toilet, the other two toilets did not flush well. They could barely flush any waste material. Plungers were provided but that did not help. This should be evaluated to determine problem. Neither hot tub at this building were operable during our entire stay. A bit inconvenient to go to the other building hot tubs.
In general, this penthouse unit had many good things to offer a nice stay and all bedrooms were comfortable with updated baths.

Start with small inconveniences, we couldn't put anything in the closets because they were full of stuff, paint, portable A/C units, cleaning supplies, etc. Every closet. Walking in, the main closet at the entry was also full...with no doors so we had to look at that the whole time. Property is due for some new furniture in the living room. NOW THE GOOD...the PM was extremely helpful when needed, the condo and the views are amazing. And the location couldn't be better. You literally walk out the door and get on a lift. It's awesome. Like I said, the inconveniences were small but enough to mention. I'd stay here again and hope the closet thing works itself out. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property at Winter Park! We had a quick late summer weekend, and we settled on Winter park as our destination. This condo provided easy access to the summer activities at base - right outside the doors. Unfortunately, two of the hot tubs in the condo complex were broken/being fixed. but of course that’s nothing that can be controlled. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful, and the management staff answered promptly with immediate solutions when our key card wasn’t working.
The condo was well-accommodated, clean and comfortable. Only thing I wish we would have had was a bit more info about the local area, as this was our first trip here and info online was sporadic as best.

Everything thing was great, clean, newly renovated. Only thing there was no air conditioning..There were portable humidifier/ AC and fans but they are loud. Wish there was a ceiling fan. We rented in July.

Family Spot
We spent several days in Winter Park for a baseball tournament. This property was absolutely perfect for two families of 4! Nicely remodeled, plenty of gathering space, well-equipped kitchen, and excellent beds! The location is also amazing, right at the base of the gondola & fun shops.

Amazing Place!
Beautiful place, great location! Couldn't have been more convenient for the Winter Park Beer Fest. I thought parking would cost an arm and a leg in the lodge's parking garage, but it was very reasonable for a full day. Rooms were comfy and very clean.

The view of the mountains is gorgeous, especially when the sun is rising. The beds are super comfortable and the condo is so clean. Condo is very updated and comfortable. Winter Park ski trip
This location is excellent! Our family was able to step right out of the building and onto the slopes. Even those of us that do not ski enjoyed our stay because of the comfort of the condo and nice views from the seventh floor. We had everything we needed to cook for our families in the well appointed kitchen. The beds, as well as the pull out sofa bed, were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again with friends and family!

Magical Stay!
Our group was comprised of two families: four adults, four children--ages 3, 4, 6 and 6. The layout was perfect for our group--two en suite bedrooms--and one bunk bed room across from a full bathroom. The bunk room slept four. One en suite bedroom is significantly larger than the other--and the closet in the smaller bedroom is full--which makes suitcase storage a little tricky. We stored our suitcases in the bathroom, which was no problem. At the end of our stay, we also discovered that the closet in the bunk room is empty. The condo was well furnished, clean and well equipped. You cannot beat the location. It is located in the middle of the village and mere steps from the ski lift--and a very short walk to ski school. We've already planned our stay at this complex next year. Highly recommend!
