Amazing place with the most friendly staff, who would do anything for you. Great to have the option to order food onsite too!

It's a lovely place in the ricefields. We used it as a one night stop on the way to Penida but I would have loved to stay at least 4 days. The staff is adorable and the cook is far what you would expect. His curry's are incredibly good, the juices just the way you want them.
Breakfast was nice and they brought us to the ferry.
Just a minor point. You can hear you neighbours breath. And when they talk all night it is a little difficult to get to sleep.

the staff and the owner were really friendly and helped us with arranging transport (scooters, fast boats, taxi). They were really social and gave us a lot of infos about everything we wanted to know. The home cooked food is very organic and local for a very good price. As an additional bonus, the room had hammocks, which added extra comfort. They got big plans for the future of the hostel and keep investing money and time to ensure the best possible experience.
Can recommend 10/10
no bins in the toilets, maybe a table for when eating meals (didn’t effect my stay tho)

this place is amazing wow. i traveled Indonesia for 6 months, and i have visited this autenthic homestay over 5-7 times.
the food is just next level, i think i have ordered everything on the menu, the location for either going to Gili Islands or coming back from Gilis, is one of the closet properties possible.
the owner is so welcoming, and they even have great tour deals for Komodo National Park / the Mt Rinjanie hike. beds are comfy, sunsets are amazing. all in all its a 10/10 spot

The food was amazing!!! Also the staff was so involved. There were no other tourist when I arrived but I went hiking and to the waterfall with the owners from the hostel. Learnt a lot about the culture and the way they life. I extended my stay here and would definitely recommend! Comfortable beds, cute huts.
Only toilets were not so clean.

Beautiful room spotlessly clean and comfy beds, I Had the view of the mountails from the shower, which was fresh water from the mountains. Highlights were chilling on the open top floor of a cabin the with the amazing panoramic view of the mountains, and the rice fields below, the evening round the fire, all the hostel is lit up at night with fairy lights, it looked beautiful. The host made us so welcome, we ate lovely local food, and enjoyed listening to his vast knowledge of the area, it was a lovely relaxing stay.
I was glad I'd taken insect repellant, but all the beds had mosquito nets which was perfect.

Our Host Herry was very friendly and helped us alot organizing the next steps of our trip like transportation to the north with beautiful waterfalls or transfer to Kuta and even boat trips to the Comodo national park. He and his friend cooked for us dinner with fresh local ingredients and spoiled us with nice mangos and papayas from the trees next to the house. They even showed us how to cook a tasty local desert.
The house we stayed in is conveniently located nearby the bangsal port with a nice view over rice fields and mountains in the background, where we enjoyed the sunsets and the stars from a hammock.
Really can recommend to anyone who is looking for a hidden gem.
