Todo definitivamente nos llegamos una alegría
No hubo nada que no nos hubiera gustado

comfortable bed and AC
guests being loud and making breakfast at 5am
staff were very unfriendly
they also charged 3 dollars over what I was originally quoted which seems to be the norm in Ecuador and which booking.com do nothing about.

Great place to chill for (3) nights. Great value for the money.

Spotlessly clean, large room with great quiet a/c in a tranquil building in a delightful, beautifully maintained tropical garden. Beds were firm and very comfortable and had good linens and a great shower with excellent pressure and lots of hot water. A small kitchen had a fridge and microwave and some dishes and cutlery. There's even a pool table in the garden!!!
Hosts were delightful and always happy to call a taxi for us. Conversation was limited by my poor Spanish, but all our needs were met cheerfully. Cold Club beer, available at the front desk for $2, was a welcome touch as we arrived quite late and didn't have time to go out.
Location is a mixed bag. You are very close to both the bus station and the airport, about the minimum $1.50 ride from either, and a beach is about a 20 minute walk away. The main beaches and downtown are a bit further away but still only a $3 taxi ride away. We were advised to take a cab at night, which we prefer to do anyway.
No option to have breakfast and no places nearby to do so. Really needed a taxi to go places to eat.
Not the fault of the hotel, but many taxi drivers had a problem getting to the place without my help showing them the way.

The hotel has a nice garden, although I didnt have time to use it.
The shower has hot water and a good stream. The size of the bedroom is good.
Most importantly, this hotel is located in a poor area. Stray dogs, few lights, dilipated streets, few people staring at you. It is in the middle of a barrio, which doesnt seem safe, so it is not for the faint-hearted, especially not at night. Upon arrival you pay and then you are left to your own device. No indications, no assistance. It seems there's nobody in the hotel at night.
The room itself is quite large, but the bathroom smells horribly. The AC is placed in the most stupid way possible, so it blows straight at your face when lying in bed, which prompts you to turn it off, which in turn causes the room to heat up to an unbearable temperature. The bed is not very comfortable either.
I do not recommend this hotel.

The room was nice enough and clean. Even the mattress was spotless which we loved. There was hot water and good water pressure ;-)
It was quite noisy during our stay.

The gardens were so beautiful! I loved how there were hammocks throughout the gardens to relax.

The hotel is very comfortable. It's new and the bed and sheets are like new. Plenty of hot water. The hotel is also a 20 minute walk to the bus station.
It can be noisy in the morning due to birds landing outside your window and AC Condenser.

cute room, clean, very soft sheets, attention to details, nice terrace with a view of the ocean, close to the beach and shops. and Ana was a great host/support if I had any questions/needs :)

May not be right for the typical gringo crowd
Lacking in space, privacy and kitchen facilities

Very nice staff, quick to respond - and we booked accomodation last minute! Clean, comfortable rooms and beautiful garden!
7.0
Comfortable, decent shower, little kitchen, beautiful gardens, quiet neighborhood.
Ants in room, no dishes or cutlery in little kitchen. Stupid rooster crowing at 4am (not the hotel's fault!)
