Apart from the two complaints eveything else was fine and we enjoyed our two night stay.

The location was good for the Hippodrome. Car parking on site. Overall the property was clean and comfortable.

Although the property was clean , the oven was not. After we put the oven on to heat up when we opened the oven door there was lots of smoke from the dirty oven and oven shelves We had to clean the oven and the metal shelves. It took two pads to clean it. The bath taps were loose and the wash-hand basin stopper would not plug into the basin.

Weekend away.

We liked that we could park securely on the back. The kitchen was lovely and had lots extras like tea and coffee. The beds were very comfy and my teenager commented that he didn't want to get up because he was so comfy.

The fact that there were no curtains only blinds. It was light around 4.30 am so that's when we woke. I think there should be curtains in the bedrooms at least. There was some black mould in the shower that needs bleaching and also on the shower wall. This did come off when I rubbed it with a cloth.

Overall, good. Small for 4 adults. Not enough seats in living room for 4

Bathroom a bit grubby with mould. Had to put towels down on bathroom floor to stop shower flooding bathroom

House was perfect for our stay. excellent facilities with washing up liquid tea and coffee in place. garden huge and great for the kids.

House was perfect for our family stay. Clean and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. The location was brilliant for our family christening and for getting around visiting friends and family throughout Darlington.

A great place to stay

Very clean and homely, the parking facilities were good. The kitchen was fully equipped.

The bathroom did not have a lock. We were a family of 4, and we only had 2 toilet rolls and a limited amount of kitchen roll.

just where & what we required

very clean location comfortable beds

unfortunately as we where at Croft Circuit all day & not being able to turn heating up to warm up when we got home in evening 7pm was disappointing also towels too thin & not big enough

Very good; price key as was more economical compared to a two night stay in local budget hotel.

Space and facilities compared booking a hotel like Premier Inn. Comfortable beds and a very good over bath shower. like the facility to park car securely.

Compared to a recent similar stay at a property not far; it could benefit from a few little touches which would benefit the property; for example having cleaning spray and cloths for kitchen; pegs to hang clothes / towels to dry outside on a line or to secure to clothes airer outside. cling film/foil in kitchen drawers etc for use.

Simply cozy and homely.

I loved staying at this property. Everything was so tidy which made us feel very comfortable the moment we walked in. I have only good memories about the property. When we are away from home we look for place where it's welcoming and cozy. We look for the same comfort that we might get from our own home and this place was like that. The kitchen was superb. The shower was great. Everything was functioning. The living room and dining room are very open, airy and bright. Only few mins from the train station and city center. Really had a good stay.

Even though the kitchen was fantastic and I was so looking forward to cook I struggled with the pots and pans available there. I think adding few more pots and pans with right size lids would give guests good experience if they are cooking.

It was dirty. There was crisps left from the previous people in the kitchen cupboards and ice in the freezer the freezer was filthy bathroom floor had hairs on the patio windows had kids finer prints all over bathroom pull cord filthy the cleaner had a attitude when she came to sort out the filth and said she couldn’t see a problem well the photos tell a different story. shame really cause it’s a nice wee house

Excellent house, courteous host and great value.

It was nicely decorated and spacious. Contact with the host was fantastically swift and helpful. The price is very good value.

Although the house is fabulous, the location is residential and quiet, with no views. But we knew that too, and that was fine for our purpose.

Great stay!

Very clean and tidy! The host was amazing with communication whenever we needed. I have a child and this property was very child friendly, close to town and walking distance to shops. This property was a home from home. I will using them again. 5stars from me.

Perfect house for our family of 5. Very clean and everything you need.

Booked as a family of 5 but no spare sheet, duvet or pillow for the sofa bed so 3 kids had to share a double bed

Home from Home .

We have been to many hotels & houses all over the world, but in all of our time staying in places we have to say Property Hunter number 25is the best we have ever stayed at, it was exceptionally clean, done to a very high spec in all departments.As soon as we walked in the door it was a wow factor, the only thing that was lacking was a door mat , and coasters, we will be coming back to stay that is a definite, it was like home from home thankyou.

I would certainly stay again, suited our needs perfectly, nothing really to fault. 10/10

Facilities all supplied : Washing up liquid, toilet roll, hand washes', tea, coffee, sugar, towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Very clean and neat, very well furnished with extra's like cushions and throws on the settee/chair, lamps etc.. made for comfy sitting. Easy heating temperature controls.

TV kept cutting out + freezing every few minutes when watching terrestrial channel tv (evening) program's - however, not on children's tv during the morning (?) We were told there was a major mast down, so perhaps that was why ? No padlock on back garden gates so a tad difficult to secure the gates sometimes with the high wind, and the outside bolt did not reach across.
