Not good value for money

Room was good and comfortable, washroom was clean and balcony was good with wide glass window

Host was rude, no one was able to speak or understand english, garden area was too cluttered and hygiene was compromised

Nice garden

When we arrived we got invited for salad and yummy bread! The garden is really nice and cozy. The place offers horse trips but we hiked by ourselves.

Amazing hospitality

Wonderfully hospitable host family. Beautiful new wing of elegant rooms with Mountain View. A dining experience (banquet) not to be missed. And lovely walking into the mountains. Nothing not to like.

It’s a shame the other guest believed slamming doors and shouting in the corridors was appropriate behaviour.

Our stay at Jekshen guesthouse was good! Jekshen and Nora are very guest-friendly. We had dinner together with them and there was more food than we could ever wish for! It was delicious! During dinner, they offer us a free room upgrade, so we slept in one of the rooms in a house that was just finished. We went horse riding on their horses as well. A beautiful way to explore the stunning region! The horses were calm and were listening well. When in kyrgyzstan, visit this guesthouse!

Really nice Guesthouse in the calm village, with views on the mountains. Hosts are really nice and helpful. Food is amazing, lunch and dinner possible, although a bit higher prices than other places in Kyrgyzstan but really tasty. There are no restaurants nearby.

The place to stay in Chon Kemim!

A lovely family run place with all the comfort you may need. The area is gorgeous. We also got dinner which was delicious fried rice in vegetarian (may actually have been vegan) and meat versions. will recommend to everyone.

The family who run the guesthouse are extremely helpful and friendly. They welcome you by cooking lovely meals with fresh ingredients. The rooms are a great size and everything is really clean. The surrounding national park is stunning, great for walking and hiking or other outdoor activities. We travelled to Kemin by public transport and then got a taxi though we understand it is possible to get a minibus all the way.

The family is really nice and kind! The rooms are clean and cozy, the breakfast and dinner were so delicious! We loved the natural jam, butter, homemade bread, main dishes… The price is cheap, but the experience is invaluable. They can also help to arrange the horse riding activity!

A complete local experience!

The guesthouse staff was very helpful from the first contact till the end. You will experience the real Kyrgyz village life here with a warm & super friendly family - they treat you as a part of their own family but also respect your freedom if you prefer to be on your own. It’s located in a beautiful village to have walks and encounter local people (and they are very friendly too!). The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there - totally recommended! I also strongly recommend that you try the horseback riding, they have such calm horses and Beka (from the family) was a great guide teaching us how to ride, and his English is great so you will have no issues communicating - it was my first time on a horse, was a little nervous but I was able to connect with Ilyas the Horse so quickly and my horseback riding became such a remarkable experience!
