The use of the wellness area of the house is accessible by an underground tunnel luxurious apartment house "Whymper", built in 2007. In the centre of Zermatt, in a sunny position, south facing position. In the house: sauna, hot tub, lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Very Good
Excellent location. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. Building is next to a kids playground, which was great for us, but might not be ideal for someone who likes quiet when the windows and doors are open. When the windows and doors were closed, it was quiet. Fully equipped kitchen, very nice! Spacious. We had a great stay. Check-in and Check-out was very convenient.

Location is great, but there are some serious drawbacks: - two of the "double" beds are TINY - only 140cm wide - only for newlyweds! - mattresses way too soft, no support: better quality would be appreciated - not enough cutlery - fridge door did not close properly - TV not functioning, Vacuum cleaner out of order - missing: salad spinner, bread box, colander, dishes drying rack... - very noisy during the day due to the immediate proximity to kindergarten playing grounds

Haus Whymper Zermatt
Im Grossen und Ganzen waren wir sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft (Lage ist super und Zermatt sowieso). Das einzige was besser sein könnte: - Im kleinsten Zimmer war das Doppelbett für Zwei Personen eher zu klein; auch würde ich zwei Duvets anstatt nur eins für die Doppelbetten empfehlen - Die Kühlschranktür schliesst nicht mehr sauber Sonst alles gut, wir kommen gerne wieder :-)
